Excellent Stay (Hidden Gem). ”
This was the friendliest property and they went above and beyond on a daily basis! They made you feel like family while you were staying there. The owners father actually took me to the bus station to get tickets and also to the bus station when we were leaving. He did this complimentary and refused tip. He was so kind and sweet. Book this property. You won’t regret it!

Excellent and absolutely feeling like home!”
The Garage gave us many great memories stayed at their place in our trip to Chiang Rai. Excellent food, superb kind staff, good location to ravel around Chiang Rai especially one who want to stay close to White Temple or Singha Park. The place is also new and clean. We hope to get back to Chiang Rai and stay at their place again soon.

The only downside is that it's a 10min drive from the center.but on the other side people don't come to come to chiang rai to be in the center.it's not to far from the white tempel wich is the most important tempel to see in whole Thailand if you ask me.been here in Thailand for 2 weeks now and this is the best place you can get for that price!10/10!!👍🏼👌🏻

Adequate for our needs, excellent staff”
The Garage is definitely value for money. The location is out of town but we had a car so it was fine. The breakfast was a little disappointing. We were serve with Rice Soup and no other options. We would have appreciated if they can offer in the future some omelette. Though they did provide bread. For the room, it was clean and spacious. The staff/owner was really really helpful.

The room and the bathroom were very clean and new. The setting is nice as well but unfortunately, the experience was ruined by staff. We came at 11:30 am very tired from a long journey and inquired if the room is ready a couple of hours beforehand. We later were informed that the room was ready but we could not go in because it would cost extra. I have been traveling all around Asia, Europe, US, South America and never has any hotel, guesthouse, homestay, etc refused an early check in or asked for money for it. I understand if there are guests in the room or it is not ready but typically if the facility has a room available, they give it to the customer early. I have had a homestay let us check in at 8am even which was so amazing! Very strange experience here. I wanted to like it! I saw all the good reviews. Also, the key deposit is something I haven't experienced. I think it could have been handled better with a focus on customer service.

Dear ms.Simona, Thank you for your comment&review. This to correct for any miss-communication about your problem, since opening this guesthouse we never ask for extra cost for early check-in if the room is ready, at first we refuse early check-in because the time you came (11.30) rooms’ just check-out (check-out time here is 11.00) and we have 4 rooms here. The staff has to reject and only available for free luggage deposit at first because the cleaning staff didn’t report of finish cleaning any room yet. But you insist, after wait, staff checking with cleaning staff and 1 of the room is ready we later allow you to check-in without any charge. BUT ask for Key&card deposit as in check-in rules, many guest had lost the key&card set between their stay and it cost a lot for us, so we ask for the deposit and stated in check-in document that will be returned the full deposit amount when check-out. We hope this clear to you, Agoda, and other future guest about this misunderstanding

We were very late for check-in and the owner waited for us with great patience and smile! Delicious food were prepared every morning, great facilities with high security and totally price worthy! The owner even operates a cafe to fix your morning coffee craving! Love it really!

Very lovely place to stay. The room is clean, cozy and take only 5 mins from bus terminal. There's a central room with refridge, microwave, and stuff for eat such as plate and spoon. I like the idea of this room. You know, some place, we have to pay for those stuff. Further than room, they have cafe for their own. I didn't try any, but I'm sure next time I'll be right back for it!

Best hotel we ever stayed in Thailand”
It's by far the most beautiful hotel that we stayed in our trip around Thailand, staff is really nice and helpful, always looking forward for your comfort, everything is super clean and tidy, breakfast is delicious, best value for the money that you will ever get Might be a bit away from the center but it's OK if you're on a bike. It's really close to the white temple though

Thai family who own 'The Garage are great and the place is clean. So no complaints on their willingness to serve and cleanliness. Also, relatively good location to get to Singha Park, Bus Station and Wat Rong Khun (south of main city). However, a few issues: 1) Close to highway so a lot of noise at night. 2) We requested for a room with king size beds. We had our two children traveling with us. However, the beds were not king size, although they said that our 5' beds were king size. If you are looking for a somewhat unique living arrangement and meeting people from other places, this could be a place for you. Just think with a little more searching we could have gotten more value for our money.

Small but excellent service guest hose”
We loved all the services of this guest house although it's small, room was clean and bed was very comfortable. The owner was very care, they suggested us for the attractions and restaurant nearby. It was very convenient to use all facilities especially when you bring young kids, we can wash dishes, milk bottles and all kitchenware was very clean. I will be back again if I have chance.

He and she, may be family, had worked with their all hospitality. Even though we had no opportunity to have their brew coffee, cafe seemed like to be very fresh and cozy. Common room was also very useful for us to have beautiful night. However, there were so many black ants in bathroom.

The cleanest accomodation in Thailand”
Pros: Extraordinary cleanliness. Super friendly staff. Good discount price in low season. Cons: Far from everything. They didn't cook on Sunday and there was no place to eat around (but they made for us delicious omelette, to keep us happy) :)

Friendly place and best hospitality”
The host is exceptionally nice. They would go out of their ways to make your stay pleasant. The night we arrived they reopened the kitchen at 9 to cook for our children. It might not be in the best location but the attitudes ease off. Highly highly recommended especially if you have a car 😁
