Pure Class”
Stayed here just before the Covid 19 quarantine began. The hotel was already empty, but the service by all the staff was still hold in very high standard. Nothing felt downgraded in any way. The room was beautifully designed, and very comfortable to stay in. The food from the restaurant downstairs SOFIA was excellent. Overall a worthy stay and very good value for your money.

I have been staying at the Gunawarman several times, I love the design and comfort of the room. However, I just wonder why they do not provide the washer/toilet with washer in the toilet as part of the amenities. This is basic.

Although not the cleanest, it is still considered more modern and convenient in terms of location. The noise from the street is quite bad. Need ear plugs for sure.

Unfortunately, my parter has stepped on what seemed to be a rusty screw that was laid on top of the carpet floor. We notified the front desk immediately and it was dealt quickly. We were compensated with 2 apple juices with sliced Granny Smiths dashed with cinnamon, and a very modest platter of bites chocolate and pastry. It was very disappointing that something like this had to happen at a 5-star hotel. Also the food was sub-par to say the least, really did match the price or the reviews you’d read online.

Cleanness should be improved ”
After 20 minutes check in, I had serious allergy symptoms, but I got well right after I left the hotel. The sheet has several obvious stains. yes, the house keeping staff did help to changed the sheets, but I am surprised that not a single sheet was absolutely white, they all with some stains. And no wonder I had serious allergy, when the staff changing the sheets, I could see clearly a mess with hairs and dust under the sheet.

The first time to this hotel, it serve its purpose but the ala-carte breakfast selection is limited and the service is slow. No gym facilities. Near to eateries.
