Fantastic Accommodation”
This hotel has everything you need for a comfortable stay in Ben Thanh. Rooms are spacious, air con excellent, fridge good size and cold and servicing of room great. Free self laundry service was a bonus takes 1 hour for washing and two hours for drying cycle. Convenience stores close by for extra supplies, location is superb. Staff were amazing, most helpful nothing was to difficult. My wife had a bottle of wine but the room had no wine glasses. Asked at reception for glasses but they didn't have any. That afternoon 'Kym' arrived at our room with two glasses they went out and purchased for our use while at the Hotel. Breakfast is supplied by the in house Cafe, only get Tea or Coffee and some cakes. If you want something more substantial the staff will go out and purchase for you. This is the place to stay, 100% recommended.

Great casual hotel, little noisy”
This is an awesome hotel if you want something a bit casual and hip. It’s very close to a lot of tourist attractions, restaurants, bars, etc. Our room was large, clean and stylish (and the bed was really comfy). The minibar is stocked with lots of drinks & snacks that are FREE, which is great when you’re heading out for a day of sightseeing and want to bring some waters and food with you. They also have a cool rooftop bar that is stocked with lots of free food and drinks. The staff were also friendly and helpful. My only minor issue with this place was that the noise in the hall outside our room was a bit loud at night, but that’s about it. Overall really great hotel.

Great place to stay and free drinks”
Hotel is lcoated in the centre of HCMC with a footwalk of 8 minutes away from famous Ben-Than-market. A good starting point to explore the city. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and very hip with the hammock. You get free water, soft drinks, beer and a couple of snacks in your minibar and also on the 24h accessible roof top. Really awesome. There also is a free washing machine on the rooftop for guests to use. Breakfast is served in the cafe in the lobby, you'll get 2 free items from the menu and 1 drink. Would definitely come back for the clean and cozy room and the view from the rooftop.

Great boutique hotel. Brilliant. ”
Staff are wonderful. We booked a medium nest so size was perfect. Bed was amazingly comfortable. Location is great. Close to some incredible restaurants and lots of street food. Rooftop garden (comp snacks and beers included) were a saviour after the New Years celebrations. Breakfast from the Coffee House was pastries; cakes; and coffee: perfect. Used the laundry facilities, also tip top. We loved this place! Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Convenient safe and clean”
Located near Ben thanh market (it’s walking distance but there were 4 of us so we took grab, safer that way). There’s also a shopping street just behind the hotel and a nice restaurant called den long that serves very good Vietnamese food. There’s a cafe at the hotel lobby, and a roof top bar that provides free flow of snacks and drinks. Room is clean cosy and spacious enough for our luggages. The only thing was that our rooms was a level below the rooftop bar so it was quite noisy at night with people talking and their footsteps. Overall will still recommend this place.

An All-Rounder Hotel! ”
Location-wise, great! Central so it’s kinda easy to move about and to other districts. The staff at the hotel are approachable and super helpful. Ready to help, give recommendation, e.g. on local popular eatery places for banh mi, dry noodle or soup noodle or explore local places. They also make our stay at the hotel as comfortable as possible. Snacks like crackers, instant noodles, tea, coffee, soft drinks and beer are available all round the clock and they are free!!! Lastly, if you are not caught in their traffic peak hrs, hotel/airport is just 30min away. Definitely will choose The Hammock Hotel Ben Thanh again!

What a great "Nest!"”
This hotel lived up to every expectation we had. A great value, clean, central location and the staff was there to help in every way. And yes if you can believe it, free beer, water, snacks, breakfast, coffee drinks and even a washer and dryer (soap included)!!!!!! I was a nonbeliever and did not expect all of this to be included in our fixed price, but it is true! Insider tip, around the corner is a great restaurant, Den Long. It is homemade Vietnamese food and it is great!

Very Helpful Staff ”
We would like to express our appreciation to the hotel staff especially Miss Phan T. Ngoc Duyen and the 2 ladies who were on duty during the night on 7 June 2019. Our family unluckily encountered a robbery case by a taxi driver when we got on a taxi at Cho Ben Thanh Market. After we shared the case with the the hotel staff when we were back to the hotel, the hotel staff offered kind assistance to us and accompanied us to report the case in the police station on the next day. They all understand English very well and provided good support in doing the translation with the police. Afterwards, they also helped us to book Grab cars many times so that we could go to one place to another place safely. We wish them all good health and success in future. One minor point about the hotel facilities: We stayed in the Family Nest room on the 5/F floor, the bath shower is rather weak. This is the only point which the hotel could improve. Others are perfect!

Outstanding”
Firstly, upon arrival I had lost my wallet in the taxi, not knowing the reg plate or the taxi company I was helpless and super lost. At the reception, they have checked us in and assured me that they will do their upmost best to find it. I had little hopes, however 30minutes into our stay, the young lady from the reception with long hair came up to our room to tell me that she was able to locate my wallet and that the taxi driver will be dropping it off shortly. I have no idea how she was able to find it but have massive gratitude towards her. This is a reflection of the customer service at this place. They will do anything to accommodate your wishes and are always happy to help. Complimentary drinks and snacks in the rooms and roof terrace. Super cool rooms as well. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for making this our very best first Saigon experience.

One of the best hotels. Great rooftop and value”
Free beer. Free. Beer. The minibar is fully stocked daily and if you run out, the rooftop has beer, soft drinks, and snacks, as well as free laundry. Despite the free flowing alcohol, the hotel was not noisy or boisterous at all. The breakfast comes from the coffee shop downstairs, and choices were limited there. Most helpful staff I have ever encountered. My girlfriend's phone was stolen on the street (not near the hotel), and the hotel staff came to our rescue, paying for the taxi to and from the police station and helping us file the police report. Since we were leaving Vietnam, they even went back to the station days later to get a copy of the report and then scanned it to email it to us. I cannot say enough good things about the staff! I would recommend this hotel to anybody.

The service was really great. ”
Actually it was little bit noisy outside. But there are lots of great things. The rooftop was really great. We spent every evening there, having some free snacks and beer. We could do the laundry ourselves. The employees at the desk are really kind. They always greeted us with smile on their face. The room we stayed was very clean. The location is also really good to look around the main streets. I give five stars to this hotel!

Ideal Hotel for a Ho Chi Minh City Stay”
Had a wonderful stay at The Hammock Hotel. It is in a great location, within easy walking distance to sights including Ben Thanh Market, War Remnants Museum, Independence Palace, Post Office and Notre Dame Cathedral. The hotel itself - fantastic. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The rooms are well sized and the bed was one of the comfiest I have slept in. The free snack room and laundry were a welcome touch and it was really nice to spend some time up on the rooftop area enjoying the view. Most importantly - just around the corner is the famous Huynh Hoa Banh Mi shop. All in all, I cannot recommend the Hammock Hotel enough and hope to return again soon.

My stay was great The hotel one of the best hotel in downtown Saigon the room is very clean and modern and very very comfortable come with free minibar I love the rooftop beautiful view . A Great Hotel with Great Concepts and Perks - and a Friendly Staff!”
My husband and I stayed here at "The Hammock Hotel" for 3 nights. This hotel sits in downtown District 1 where it is very busy. When first entering the hotel you enter by way of a Coffee House. Reminds me a bit of Starbucks. You get free coupons for breakfast and a drink for every day you stay. The Hotel has a rooftop hangout which is different. There are a few swings up there which makes this unique. Another perk while staying at the Hammock Hotel is the free unlimited snacks and drinks. There are no drawers for your clothing. The bathroom is a nice size with a decent shower. The cleanliness of the shower area wasn’t the greatest, with mold and mildew and dirt in the crevasses. The noise, more like music and partying from the streets and the park is up and lively at night and late into the night. However, the hotel sits in the downtown district. If you want an interesting hotel on a busy street in District 1 with free perks and an interesting room with a coffee house this is it!

Loved our stay and highly recommended!!!”
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights on July 2-5 2022. The location is great coz it’s a few mins walk to Ben tHanh market, Backpacker’s street and the famous Banh Mi Huynh Hoa. The best of all is that they have free snacks and drinks like beer, coke, sprite,water, yogurt, chips, fruits, cup noodles and the list goes on! They have a cafe at the ground level that serves good coffee and juices! I’m not the type who write reviews but they definitely deserve my time writing this. It’s the best hotel in HCM, Vietnam!

As a former hotel receptionist, I have to say that service here is absolutely out of this world. The room with a nice little hammock and free mini bar was clean and air-conditioned when checking in, and the staffs are friendly and caring. Didn't have a chance to try breakfast. In general, this is probably the best place to stay with a budget of less than $40.

Was recommended by a friend to stay at this hotel. Hotel location is at district 1, not that near the crazy nightclub scenes, so the night was peaceful. Banh Mi Huynh Hoa is at the same lane of the hotel, less than 3 mins walk. This banh mi is the best I've had in HCMC. So glad The Hammock Hotel is mere walking distance. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the free snacks, beer, drinks etc in the room and rooftop. Free laundry was a super bonus point! Will definitely recommend this hotel to all, and stay here again if I visit HCMC. Thank you Hammock Hotel!

A trendy hotel for the young at heart”
There's a hammock in the room. Mini bar with beer and snacks are free. On the top floor, there's a room filled with beer, drinks and snacks including hot dogs and Chinese buns. All free. Breakfast is served in the coffee shop on the ground floor (coffee and pastries - no bacon and eggs!). Coffee is of high quality. The location is great. Plenty of eating places around. In short, we really had a good time.

Have been staying here for 2 nights. Booked Javado Hotel for 3 nights but the hotel condition is terrible! Luckily found this hotel which really make me feel like home. The room design is awesome, clean,beds were comfy, service was excellent! Highly recommended to stay.

Cheap, fun and great location”
Had an amazing time here. The aesthetic is a young/modern feel and plenty of amenities. Free flow of beer, snacks, and laundry is great. Staff was so nice and you get a lil coffee and treat each morning with the Cafe that doubles as the lobby. All the popular attractions were within walking distance. It's nice to come back to recharge in A/C. Would recommend to anyone and will return next time.
