Great budget hotel in West End location”
Booked this hotel last minute and for under £35 got a clean, quiet, single ensuite room with a decent cooked breakfast. Also tea and coffee were supplied in my room which was great. All staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful, location was excellent as I wanted to be based in the West End of Glasgow. Would recommend to other travellers who don't want to pay a fortune for a night's sleep.

Few Frills but Good Value.”
We booked a room at the Heritage at fairly short notice and still got a good deal for a twin room. There is a small car park behind the hotel but, with no rear entrance, the luggage needs to be taken around the block to the front - about 100 metres. We were allocated Room 1 on the ground floor. It was spacious with a high ceiling and single glazed sash windows overlooking the rear car park. In August we did not need heating. The beds were comfortable and basic facilities, such as TV, towels, tea coffee and kettle, were provided. We did not expect, at this rate, and did not get frills like bottled water, a safe or fridge. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was unsophisticated but quite adequate (I gave the famous turkey rashers a miss) and all the staff were pleasant. The only minor downsides were the usual hotel practice of providing dim, low wattage bulbs in the room and a TV remote that had some inoperative buttons - hardly a crisis. Overall, useful and good value.

Excellent budget hotel ”
Found the staff really present and helpful. The hotel and especially my room was clean, tidy and generally spot on. When I checked in I was informed of what time my breakfast would be served, this after Agoda had informed me I wasn't eligible for 1 ! so this was a bonus and the hotel told me this was an error at Agoda' s end. Plus the hotel was less than a 10 min walk from subway which was really handy, £1.70 single or £3.20 return (£4.10 day pass). 4 stops (8 mins) to Central station . Would definitely be happy to use the hotel again and also recommend it. Happy customer

Old british charm”
Great neighborhood - the University of Glasgow, the Kelvingrove Museum, Hall and Park, the Botanical garden, the efficient link to city center (simpliCITY bus 6 and 6A), shops and markets at every corner, good breakfast, nice hotel staff, beautiful view from the room's large window, good wifi.

Good value for money”
Really reasonable for pretty central Glasgow. Good connections via bus / train. Free parking on site and a good cooked breakfast in the morning too were added bonuses. Beds weren't the most comfortable I've had, but certainly weren't the worst either. Would stay again.

Friendly staff, basic and clean room. ”
I'm happy with the hotel- spacious and clean room with refurbished bathroom. Very friendly staff. Free breakfast included. The only tiny issue was the low water pressure in the hot shower- however local friends said it's more like a thing for the city since many buildings are pretty old. My single room was on top (3rd floor) with steep staircase- I was fine with it. if you have a preference then I'd recommend calling the hotel to mark the ground floor rooms before booking.

Convenient, comfortable hotel”
A visit to Glasgow for a school and a family reunion made me select the hotel. While the room I was given was comfortable, it was on the second floor so 46 steps up as there was no lift. Fortunately the receptionist kindly carried my two suitcases up. Whilw the location of the hotel was fine, it was not directly on a road so access meant a climb up from Great Western Road.

Quality hotel with great prices”
This hotel was a great find, it was very clean, generally well positioned for restaurants etc and good breakfast included in the excellent price for an overnight stay. Well done!!! The only downside we could see was the very limited parking.

Fantastic Hotel”
We had a very nice stay. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. We had a fantastic breakfast to get us going for the day. The location was by the university and was very convinent to shopping and the subway to get around. We had a very relaxing time. The only problem is that the door to the hotel is off the street but now that we know we would be fine with it because we know. We would definately go back.

A Cozy Atmosphere in a Lovely Neighbourhood”
This was the first hotel that we stayed in on our 2 week trip to Scotland and Ireland. We really enjoyed our experience. There was ample space in our hotel room, the hotel was very clean and it was centrally located for what we wanted to do.

Ideal for quick stopover. ”
Has free parking, clean showers and comfy bed. We were there only for 1 night, checked in late with no problem. Staff were friendly. We had Room 7 overlooking the front street. There are direct busses to city centre, a late night kebab eatery and a 24hr minimart downstairs. Room was a little stale / musty probably due to rain but overall a great hotel!

Great value hotel”
First impression of this place wasn’t good as it is situated above shops on Great Western Road but inside belays that train of thought. Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean hotel, well worth the money. Breakfast ingredients rather cheap but then they have to pair down the costs somewhere. Would stay here again without question.

Very good”
We spent three days in this hotel very well . Outside the terrace is a bit desolate, but every thing inside is clean that for us is the most important thing to consider. Breakfast could be a bit better (ponch eggs especially -too much vinegar and yolk too cook...) The real problem is that they haven’t a lift, but we appreciated that we could park the car for one day without pay anything.

Very friendly welcome”
We were only there for 1 night but were treated very well. I have mobility problems and couldnt get to the room we were allocated but they gave us one on the ground floor. I would recommend anyone wanting to stay here with similar problems to ask for ground floor room. The two staircases are very impressive though. We were given advice on where to go for the evening so had a lovely couple of hours in the nearby Botanical Gardens followed by a walk out to the numerous restaurants.
