Excellent, central, clean, spacious, well equipped apartment”
We stayed in 2 apartments at the 3rd floor and 2nd floor. Clean, spacious, well equipped apartments and have everything you need during your stay: washing machine, dishwasher, hairdryer, kitchen utensils, shampoo and shower gel, well-function gas heater system ... Reception is in front of the apartment, from 9AM to 6PM, so you can collect the key easily. The young guy at reception was friendly and helpful. Excellent location, very central, just some minutes walk to almost main attractions: Edinburgh Catle, Hollyrood House, Victoria Street, Grass Market, Dean Village, Canton Hill… The apartment can afford 5 people, one in sofa bed which is a little bit softer than the real bed. There are many grocery shops around. We were happy to stay here and strongly recommend for other people.

Great stay with great location ”
We had a 2-week holiday in the UK, staying in Bristol, Edinburgh and finally London. Hands down, Knights Residence was the best, in terms of value for money, comfort and location for all our excursions in Edinburgh. Highly recommended.

Cosy apartment in a great location ”
We stayed in a 2BR. The apartment was cosy, clean and well-equipped, with cafes and a Sainsbury Local close by. You can easily walk to the Edinburgh Castle, Grassmarket, Lawnmarket, Royal Mile, museum, Bobby Friars, etc from Lauriston Street. Or just hop on a bus at a bus-stop nearby. Staff are friendly and helpful, especially Aminah. Perhaps the apartment can update details on agoda on cleaning arrangements. Otherwise, this is a great place to stay in!

A nice and homely place with very friendly and helpful staff. The receptionist, I think Fabio was his name was extremely helpful and friendly. Gave us a lot of tips of places to go and the times best suited for travel. Rooms were clean and well equipped to manage comfortably for short and reasonably long stays. Housekeeping staff were also friendly and nice. Location wise, it was within access of prime places of interest with most of them being within walking distance. Parking, while a little bit cheaper than parking on the road was still a bit expensive specially if you stay for a longer period. We reached the place on the 31/12 by around 1:30 or 2pm and paid parking for that day and 3 more days. 31st was for just a few hours given that it is free parking outside from around 7 pm. Also 1/1 was a free public parking day and it would have been good if they at least halved the rate for those 2 days.

Great location but not as clean”
The 2 bedroom units were very functional for our family of 4 with 2 grown children. Location was very convrninet, close to both Old Town, New Town and Edinburgh Castle. The units aren't so clean though. Our son had an asthma attack from all the dust flying around from the table surfaces and carpet. At least, there was a vacuum cleaner in the unit. Since it is not a hotel, reception staff is available only from 9-5 and there is no phone to connect to reception counter. Kitchen equipment was complete and they had dishwashing liquid and detergent pods too.

Short Mid-Week Stay”
Had a wonderful mid week three night stay at The Knight Residence in Edinburgh. The apartments are excellently situated for the castle, Princes Street, and The Haymarket with all just being a few minutes walk away. All the staff were very friendly and willing to please. A big shout out goes to Chris who helped a frustrated teen access his Netflix account on the TV in the room. Crisis avoided! There are reviews on TripAdvisor that complain about the strip clubs at the bottom of the street. There are three, all with friendly bouncers outside and they were really a non issue, and are not a reason not to stay here.

Awesome place to stay in Edinburgh ”
One happy and very satisfied guests 😊👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The place is very near Waverly station, by foot its approx around 15 mins walk and by cab it's less than £6. All our special requests were granted like early check-in, high floor and late check-out 👍🏻 Surrounding was clean, neat and safe. Close proximity with restaurants such as cafes, chinese cuisine, nandos, subway, italian, and salinsbury local 😊👍🏻 Staff were friendly, accomodating and ready to assist guests. Tour leaflets and guides are readily available in the reception and inside the appartment room. They also provide complimentary goodie basket which includes asstd cereals, cookings, jam spreads, loaf bread, fruit juices and fresh milk 👏👏👏 room is A+ clean and neat 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 We had a wonderful time and stay in Knights Residences and will definitely stay again on our next visit to Edinburgh 😊

Spacious and practical ”
Our family loved it here. The staff were kind and accommodating, while the facilities were so useful (especially for cooking). The location is a literal stone's throw away from Sainsbury's, and if you're in the mood for a good long walk in the excellent weather (cold and sunny), then you can walk all the way from the Edinburgh Castle down to the Royal Mile around the Waverley Train Station, back up the Royal Mile, down towards Grassmarket [take Granny's Green Steps], and walk back up a short distance to the Knight Residence). It will be a bit of a challenge to get to other apartments, especially if you have big luggage, but it'll be alright. This place is definitely worth it.

Very convenient location”
We enjoyed our stay at Knights Residence at the beginning of our trip to Scotland. The hotel has a convenient and reasonably priced car park, very helpful for us since we had a car in order to visit other parts of the country later in the trip. We received a very warm welcome from Chris, the manager on duty. The hotel provides some basics on arrival - bread, milk, tea, coffee - very thoughtful! Tesco is around the corner. The unit had a nice apartment style layout, with a nice assortment of entertainment and full kitchen (the reason for my 5 rating). The location is very convenient, there are good restaurants nearby, and it's an easy walk to get to Edinburg Castle. All in all this hotel is a good value, the rooms are impeccably clean and the location is convenient. We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night, on Friday night the neighborhood was noisy due to some nearby bars, this was the only negative. I highly recommend Knights Residence and would stay again.

Large apartment in Excellent location”
We were a family of 5 with 3 adult children and stayed in Apartment 13/9. The apartment was a 2 bedroom apartment with a large family room with pull-out sofa bed and nicely stocked kitchen. The apartment was clean with plenty of windows providing natural light. The location was ideal, minutes walk away from the Grassmarket, where there are many wonderful restaurants and pubs, and Edinburgh Castle which stands at the beginning of the Royal Mile in Old town. For those with a car, the complex has available parking for a fee. The front desk staff were warm, welcoming and extremely helpful. The apartment was serviced daily. Ideal for anyone (couple or family) who doesn't need a traditional hotel with restaurant, bar, room service, health club, etc. and prefers to experience the local flavor.

Perfect Serviced Flats in Edinburgh”
We have used the Knight Residence for about 10 years now and would not consider staying anywhere else in Edinburgh. Lovely serviced flats that are comfortable and very well fitted out, nice touch is the basic food pack in the kitchen i.e. milk, bread, butter, preserves, cereals, tea, coffee etc., which means whenever you arrive you can have a drink and and something to eat. Secure parking is a real bonus as the car can be left somewhere safe. It's an easy walk to all the sights and the shops. The staff are second to none and the way you are looked after is superb.
