Excellent”
Thoroughly enjoyed a two night stay at the Liverpool Inn Hotel in Dec 2018. Extremely good value and location is excellent for visiting the City centre and all its attractions like the Cavern Club, a must visit if you have any interest in the Beatles. We did not spend too much time in the hotel, just a place to sleep and shower and change, nor did we interact much with the staff but what contact we did have we found the staff to be extremely friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a short break.

A very good room only hotel”
We were in Liverpool for two nights and needed a basic central hotel to stay in. We didn’t want lots of trimmings as food was provided at the conference we were attending. The Liverpool Inn provided us with a comfortable bed in a warm room and en-suite facilities. It did have a bar, though we didn’t use it. We will definitely use it again next time we come to the city.

Very Central for City and Airport”
We were staying overnight in Liverpool ready for a flight out of the airport the following morning. We are pensioners who travel on public transport and the location of the hotel was ideal for us. It is a couple of minutes walk from Lime Street station and in the morning we were able to use our Pensioner bus passes to catch the 86A bus straight to the airport from just around the corner. The hotel is clean, modern, tidy, warm and has comfortable beds and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The tiny flood lit garden visible from the stairs is an extra bonus in a city centre full of concrete and stone! There is no breakfast on offer but plenty of options nearby. Also, the tea-making facilities in the room were appreciated.

Tiny and almost perfect....”
We had a pleasant stay here right at the heart of Liverpool, with immaculately clean rooms and very friendly staff. A small problem with the room kettle was sorted immediately. Although the room was not huge, it was sufficient for the short stay we had. The bathroom was again on the small size but sensibly laid out and I had no problems with manouvering about {I am over 6 foot and largely made}. Very good value for money. The hotel's position is ideal from the point of view of getting around being easy strolling distance from Lime Street, the bus station and Central Station, shops, etc etc. This also the only slight downside as the building obviously overlooks the street and there is noise. Its a city centre what do you want?! Dont be put off by the hotel being over a betting shop and next door to a takeaway - we had no trouble or disturbance.

The Liverpool Inn is very deceptive from the outside but once you enter you immediately see why it is rated 4 star. Very friendly helpful staff who could not do enough for you. Close by public car parking and in very close proximity to the city centre made it ideal for a short stroll back to the Inn after a few drinks. Excellent value for money and I would recommend to any other couples.

Central location at a reasonable price”
I was pleasantly surprised by the Liverpool Inn Hotel. It was in the best location for us - across the road from one of the bus stops that the City Explorer tour bus uses and it was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. If I needed to stay in central Liverpool, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Great location with a cheap price”
Ideal location right at the heart of Liverpool. 3min walk to the city centre with plenty of shops to walk around. Staff were so welcoming in the hotel especially terry who showed us all the great night life of Liverpool on a map. Would 100% recommend as it is affordable and couldn’t of asked for a better location

Just perfect”
1 night stay to enjoy the culture of Liverpool, this was just perfect for our requirements. Clean, spacious, central. to note........ easy to walk past on the street, entrance quite understated, its not far from the junction on the right hand side.

Value-for-money Inn”
5 mins walk from the train station, 10 mins walk to the city centre. Pros are extremely helpful staff, and clean room, nice looking bar and lobby. These are not cons, but do note that there is no lift, so luggage has to carried up. Thumbs up for the hotel staff to assist in that. They also provided a family room which sleeps 4 pax due to availability (and partly because I requested a king size bed and not ground floor room). 5-star service for these!

Great value, very helpful staff”
Pros: extremely helpful manager and staff. Night manager looked out for us after our return from dinner and offered us another fan to cool down our room on a balmy August evening. Receptionist was very knowledge about places to eat and things to see. We were allowed to keep our luggage at the hotel both before and after check in. Cons: we had room six which had some ventilator fans whirring away below the window. The noise was muted when the windows were closed. All in all, we enjoyed our stay because the staff were superb and the hotel was excellent value.

The staff were lovely. Slept like a log. The room was clean, warm, modern and just right for our needs. They were very knowledgable of the area and where to go eat or for whatever our needs were. Excellent choice and the location was fab. Nothing from the outside but great once in there. We felt safe in the city staying there.

Location is great but could get noisy on a weekend as it's in the city centre. The room was great the only downside was poor gutter draining which resulted in a bad smell in the bathroom
