Lovely apartment with great facilities and views of the Abbey and sea. Great central location

lovely property with a cracking view, very comfortable. like previous reviews the light in the bathroom can go off whilst in the shower, but it’s a minor detail really.

The property could be beautiful had it of been clean, it was absolutely filthy.

Hard to find in the dark, entrance hall filthy, big pile of junk outside the door, cream carpet in apartment filthy muddy foot prints, scuffs up the walls, what looked like urine stains on landing and all over the lounge rug, stains on the sofa, thick thick dust everywhere, dirty fridge, dirty oven, hob had dog hairs on it, cupboards covered in greasy finger prints, cobwebs stretching from beam to beam. cutlery kettle and microwave dirty. 2nd apartment -one the Hudson very similar although slightly cleaner but still lots of dirty finger prints on walls, filthy hallway, crumbs on floor tatty fixtures and fittings - dangerous shower no temperature control oh and a boiler that bangs all night and wakes you up even from the second bedroom !

Lovely living/kitchen area. Comfy bed and pleasant bedroom. Fantastic views. Clean and tidy.

Hallway entrance smelt very damp and not easy to negotiate with cases.

The place needs a deep clean. Carpets were dirty and most surfaces were dusty.

Decor was lovely, had everything you need for your stay. Very clean . Great location.

Stairs are quite steep but that means you get a great view.

The lobby ceiling was leaking during the rain meaning the carpet/doorway was soaking which then led to a cream carpet in the apartment with no mat to clean shoes

The view from the main room over the town to the ruined abbey is spectacular. The apartment is nicely renovated in a modern style. It is a comfortable place to spend a short break with many shops, cafes and restaurants very close by.

Just nitpicking, but maybe a couple of hooks for towels? A few extra cushions for the sofa?

The decor and location were faultless. It is clear that a lot has been invested in this property. It is modern, spacious, clean and has everything you would need for a quick getaway or long stay. The apartment had everything from a hairdryer to a washing machine and all the mod cons in between. Absolutely a pleasure to stay here. Pet friendly was a lovely touch, we took our two small dogs and they felt right at home too. You would never know any dogs had ever stayed there as the place was immaculate. The hosts were amazing, although we never met as we never needed anything, the messages prior to our arrival gave us all the info we needed and regular check ins through the tablet provided were a nice touch. They provided parking scratch-cards which were again, a lovely touch as we would have been circling around for ages trying to find somewhere to park the car.

If I were being harsh, I would have to mention the entrance hall. As you open the door from Routh Walk there is no room to manoeuvre around the doorway before being greeted by the stairs and a strong damp smell. This wasn’t a problem for us when we had just nipped out but it was quite hard to manoeuvre two dogs, two suitcases and a ridiculously oversized dog bed when arriving and leaving for the first and final time. While I appreciate you can’t change the size of the entrance hall, it’s something for other guests to consider, especially those with a lot of luggage or those not so agile on their feet as there are a lot of steps. There is quite a lot of mould on the ceiling in the entrance hallway which does smell quite strong, however, in the apartment you would never know it was there. Merely an observation more than a criticism.

All facilities were excellent,high quality fixtures and fittings,very clean,very modern,everything you needed to enjoy your stay,nothing was cheap or shabby, everything was of high quality throughout

The bathroom door was a sliding one and it kept getting stuck. We spent up to 5 mins some times trying to get in or out of the bathroom which was a bit inconvenient.

Everything. The location, the view, the facilities, the comfort, the decor, the furniture. Everything!

It was very modern and kept really clean.

Nothing everything was great about the location and the property itself. We where able to come and go as we pleased. It is in a great location a small walk away from all the attractions. Would book again.
