Best hostel so far in thailand”
This hostel was a great surprise for the low price. Everything is so clean and the airconditioning works very well and is sufficiently quiet. the mattress quality varies amongst beds but for the price its hardly an issue, and they are very clean, no bed bugs and the place in general is very new looking. id recomend hiring a scooter as none of the taxis will turn the meter on and you can easily pay 250-400thb for a 15 minute journey. scooter hire is only 150/day from this hostel, and there are scooter hire places all over. its about 1 to 3 km from the more expensive part of town, and right near the beach. would definitely stay again.

Diamond in the rough”
It's like an old car, you appreciate the little imperfections, but it drives perfectly and the mechanic is your best friend. This hostel is right in the heart of where you want to be during your stay in Bangkok. It's affordable, the GM Paul and his crew are incredibly friendly and helpful (truly you can ask them anything and they will help). They are there to look out for your best interest and to make sure you are safe and don't get taken advantage of, which is worth its weight in gold. Highly recommended.

Great Location, Helpful Staff & Spacious Lounge ”
Right on the Khaosan street, great location choice for cheap street food, cheap beers, 7-Eleven, atms and travel agents just nearby. The hostel is clean, big lounge with tables and chairs to relax yourself, standard breakfast and day tours packages to be arranged at the reception. Great value for money. Will come again.

5th floor on top of a restobar. ”
a bit noisy and not the cleanest place. but best deal on the road with free breakfast, all day long complimentary coffee, tea, water and ice cubes. Free Wi-Fi and its really located in the central. Good international mix in terms of guests, helpful and responsive staff. Despite the noise and cleanliness i cannot complain. It's Khaosan Mayham and steady guest turnover, i guess. After all i extended my stay twice and so did my room mates. Overall a good time at The Mixx. Be prepared for the 73 steps up to the 5th floor, which is a good exercise. Oh, public area is closed after 11pm. Most guests would also have appreciated if this was not the case.

Worth the $$ !! ”
Stayed here for the first time. No doubt, it’s worth every penny spent on this hostel. (The receptionist told me guest are always lost when they follow the GPS trying to locate their hostel, which I did the same.) Other than that, I didn’t had any problems. The bed was clean, the toilets are clean. It’s approximately about 10 minutes walk to Khao San road. Definitely recommend this place! I will come back for sure. They have friendly and accommodating staffs too. :)

Great location yet lil noisy”
Its location is great at the touristy area. They provided breakfast of coffee and bread and banana. The hostel was clean, the staff were helpful. Yet it is on the fourth floor so we had to go up by stairs, be prepared if you bring heavy bags. It was a bit noisy at night as there’s a cafe downstairs playing loud music. It’s ok if you go sleep after midnight tho.

OK in a pinch”
If you are looking for something very basic for only a night or two, Mixx is OK. You have to climb up 4 flights of stairs because there is no elevator. Cold water showers. Wall to wall concrete. It suited my need for a night but i have no plans to go back.

Bedbugs is not true”
went here, no bedbugs bite, rumor is not true. stayed for nov 25-28. use of towel and blanket provided. please bring your own toiletries. free use of locker bring your own padlock. free water, ice, coffee, wifi. though wifi is a bit weak when inside rooms. a 100thb is deposited and refundable upon check out. tourist places like wat pho and grandpalace 1 tuktuk away for 50baht per person. taxi is cheap too just tell the driver use the meter. thank you. will be back for sure. very homey place. quiet inside rooms.

Great location, helpful staff but I heard of bed bugs in the hostel by other guests, luckily I didn't have any in my bed. Also suuuuper hot rooms which made it difficult to sleep.

I actually didn’t sleep at this hostel as i booked for only one night and i had to catch bus at 1 am in the morning. I was there only to drop my backpack and take shower. The hostel is on the 4th floor of an old building in Khaosan road. It was very loud at night I don’t think i would’ve been able to sleep. Toilets were fine but the shower area was quite dark at night. They also had locker but you had to bring your own padlock, which I didn’t have so had to buy myself. I would recommend staying here only if you’re really on a tight budget, otherwise I don’t mind paying double the price for a more comfortable stay.

cheap stay in Bangkok. need to climb up about three floors to get to the hostel, not recommend if u have a lot of luggage or big luggage. overall was ok. the only thing is near khao san road which happened to be one of the happening area in Bangkok, however food nearby are not cheap and difficult to go to other area. would prefer somewhere that near bts.
