Fantastic hotel”
My wife and I stayed with the Palmy for a few nights during our recent trip to Vietnam. Not only was the hotel in a fantastic location within the old quarter but of all the hotels we had stayed up to that point in Southeast Asia, the Palmy by far had the most courteous and helpful staff we encountered. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the provided breakfast buffet was extremely well laid out. We could not have asked for a better visit and we will definitely book them next time we are in Hanoi and pass our utmost recommendation to anyone traveling to Hanoi!!

Extremely worth a stay in Hanoi”
The location is very strategic, being 5 mins walking distance to Hoan Kiam Lake and near to bar & bistro. Within city area with lots of souveniers and local food. The staff greeted you every time you step in, nice ambience, comfortable room and shower area. But the bed and pillow are a bit too soft to me, therefore unable to sleep well sometimes. This is because i spent my holiday staying in Palmy for 5 days 4 nights. Overall i enjoyed my stay at Palmy hotel very much, and highly recommend to everyone.

Nice hotel on a quiet side street”
This hotel is located on a lovely quiet side street just 1 minute walk from hoan kiem lake, friendly helpful staff and a clean large room with a balcony. The street outside seems to be one of the quieter in Hanoi with mostly just pedestrians. A few nice bars along with some nice cafes also. A spa downstairs however I can't comment as I never had time to try it.

Perfect stay, definitely recommend”
Had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Palmy Hotel & Spa. The location was perfect - right in the centre of everything. The room was very nice and clean and cool. And the hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond for us when I lost my phone on a tour bus and they phoned around everywhere for me and managed to get it back! Cannot thank them enough.

Brand new hotel, fantastic location ! ”
I was surprised to know that this hotel has just opened from mid Oct so everything is just new. My room is beautiful & tasteful, exactly as it looks online. The location is absolutely superb, you feel like you are part of the city when you stay there. Everything is in walking distance as soon as you walk out the door : Hoan Kiem Lake, Saint Joseph Cathedral, Night Market.. The customer service did not disappoint us. From front front office to the waitress,.... they are all very friendly and professional. All in all, we'd love to recommend them !

Wonderful Experience!”
It was a wonderful experience, the service exceeded expectation. Location was perfect and located on a not too busy inner lane besides behind the main road along side the Hoan Kiem Lake. Walking distance to all attractions, eat places and shopping. Room was clean and nice. Just that it is a bit small. Will stay again if coming to Hanoi!

A great place to stay for a couple days and enjoy the beauty of Hanoi. the location is superb, near the Hoan Kiem lake, lots of places near by within walking to go eat, and the staff are so friendly and speaking very clear English. Buffet breakfast is ok, there is an omelette station, great coffee and lots of fruit, hot dishes and breads pastries.

Very comfortable stay. Location is so convenient. Good food, cafe shop, Hoan Kiem Lake... are all within walking distance. I enjoy every bit of details in room. Staff are very friendly and helpful. However breakfast and spa let me down big time. Breakfast wasn't fresh, the taste was under average. Spa was lack of facilities , certainly wasn't "top 55 spa in the world" as they claimed. I will come back regardless, as the pros are far more than cons.

New hotel in old quarter lake side best room 804”
We only stay for 1 night before head home, we booked studio room got upgrade to the best room of hotel room 804. 200% worth the money! Walk in the room big space, large bed, balcony, large bath room, bath with window view! Top quality decor, I found that when I use their lobby public toilet I already know this hotel build with good quality material! I know their services going to be good right after my booking, I actually mistakenly booked twice on same day, one on agora, one on hotel website, within 5 mins I received email from hotel to double check if there any mistake for Booking? We had breakfast in hotel not bad options, but didn't eat there for lunch & dinner, because Hanoi have so many good restaurant with bargain price!! Overall we enjoy our stay, and we will go back again also recommend friends & family stay there.

Wonderful hotel and staff! ”
Everything was wonderful. Great location, in the center of Hanoi Old Quarter. On a small street behind the busy main road. Close to the lake and also to many other great places. The staff was very polite and cheerful and made us feel like home. They also made us a very nice surprise which not many hotels would do. We were in our honeymoon and we only stayed at the hotel 1 night and they upgraded us free from our deluxedeluxe with view thoneymoon suite, which is the biggest in the hotel with a very big bathroom with shower and jacuzzi and a big balcony. Very spacious and elegant. The breakfast was also great. Food very very nice and very good service. I think it's a great hotel and i would give it a 10+. And if people are complaining must be crazy.. Just chill and enjoy your stay. I would definitely come back here and i would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi.

Man excellent experience ”
The jr. Suite was perfect, it came with a large balcony. I also got to enjoy its spa, which came with a 20% discount for guests. Hotel staff was great too, I tried to tip but they declined. The hotel is near Hoan Kirm Lake, I always stay in this neighborhood as it's the tourist center of Hanoi.

Great location and service hotel”
The hotel is in midst of the old quarter, yet away from the buzz like other hotel. It is located in a branch of a road. The taffic seldom heavy compare to the rest of Hoam Khiem area. The taxi almost missed the turn to hotel, luckily I take a note on google map when reaching Hanoi. It is second hotel after the turn from road. It is behind Bao Viet office. The cathedral is just 5 minutes walk from hotel. The lake is just 3 minutes walk. A wonderful location. The bell boy is very friendly and helpful. His english is not perfect, but he demostrate his willing to help and communicate. Feel warm for it. Everything is great for the hotel except there is no luggage rack in the room. This need to improve.

Excellent Hotel and staff”
The hotel was in a fantastic location, hotel room was great and good breakfasts. The staff really make this hotel stand out from others. They couldn't of done enough for us, from chasing up a tour pick up time, looking after our luggage and running a very efficient check in service. On our last day they stored our luggage as we had a late night flight. Sorted out our taxi back to the airport and offered us a shower just before the taxi arrived so we could freshen up for our long journey home. The lady was super lovely and so caring. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if we were staying in Hanoi.

Fantastic location and wonderful staff!”
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Palmy. The location is great, easily accessible by Halong bay buses. Tu was very good and recommended some of the best Pho Bo we've had throughout our entire trip at Pho Thin just 5mins walk. Everything was lovely and well worth the price.

Reasonable hotel with great breakfast”
The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk from the lake in the centre of Hanoi. It is nestled in a street behind the main road and reasonably quiet and comfortable. We had the most expensive rooms and were surprised by both the small size of the first one we had and the smell of smoke. The second one (after travelling away for a couple of days) was a lot larger than the first which made us wonder how we paid the same for both rooms. There were no rooms to change us to, but they sent a maid who quickly spritzed the room to get rid of the smell... fine, but we always specify no smoking rooms. The breakfast is great, with the chef being lovely and engaging. Foods from around the world, particularly delicious is their pho. Pastries, fruits, cereals and traditional Asian foods. Yum

Great Location, Excellent Staff”
I always enjoy my stay at the Palmy, and is an excellent choice for business travelers. Most rooms are good, but last time I get room without a window, so try to avoid this. My favorite aspect though would be the roof-top restaurant and buffet breakfast.

Good Location, helpful and friendly staff, Not a Great SPA though”
Positives - Friendly and helpful staff, convenient location to tourist attractions, rooms are good. Negative - The only negative - SPA. Booked an appointment along with my spouse for a couple massage with great expectations, but was let down by the masseuse who was just plain bad. She and her partner knew only type of massage though we asked for a different option. Constantly chatting without even understanding what we are asking. At the end of 59th min, promptly I hear - TIPS please without even bothering to ask how we felt or anything. My friends who were in another room with a different masseuse had a very good experience though. Wouldn't recommend the SPA, use the hotel for boarding, but for SPA, lookout for different place.
