When it’s completed, it will be phenomenal ”
The Pearl is a newly constructed resort on the beach about 10 minutes taxi ride from downtown Hoi An. It’s a massive resort with movie theaters, when completed a shopping mall type complex, several restaurants as well. The food choices seem to be catered to Korean Tourism. Most of the shops as of 1-30-20 are not completed yet. Buffet was very good wit lots of choices. Negatives were the check out process. We were asked to wait in the lobby for 30 minutes while housekeeping inspected our room before we could check out. From someone who has traveled widely and stayed at many comparable resorts, these seemed a bit odd. Great beach, very large and expansive pool area, and great game from for kids.

Nice Resort, but Still Being Developed”
The Pearl Hoi An is a very nice resort in its infancy (still in the soft opening stage). The rooms are great, the pool is fantastic, breakfast and room service is good, the staff are nice and helpful, and it’s location next to the beach is nice. The resort is at least a year or two from being prime (if it does ever become a fully realized resort, it will almost feel like a Vegas resort hotel).. The long hallway has many shop stalls waiting to be occupied. The outside areas are still waiting for shops, also. A couple of restaurants have set up shop, but weren’t open. It does not have a gym or spa ready yet. A cinema is apparently being built. If you’re not planning on being in the hotel much, then this won’t be a big deal. Hoi An Old Town is only a 10 minute drive away, which is what people are going to Hoi An to see anyway.. I’m curious to see what the place becomes in the next year or so. I would stay there again.

At first, we were hesitant to book this place due to the not-so-impressive rating point of 8.2. However, we were surprised by the time we arrived. Citadines Hoi An was actually a complex building with plenty of services (shopping, nail, cinema, etc) - though it was closed during our stay due to the Covid19 pandemic. It has a private beach and a huge pool that our kid loved so much. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The only thing that Citadines could improve is breakfast. A qualified ala carte breakfast when fewer residents could be greater than a blank taste buffet. Overall, Citadines was still the place that we enjoyed the most during our long trip drive through Vietnam. Highly recommend

Everything is great. The staff are so friendly that they even play bocce with you. The only improvements that could be made is a cheaper pool bar and a later shuttle bus.

Great rooms. Massive resort but far from finished. Value for money supurb. Good breakfast good reasonably priced food in restaurant. A distance from the old city but a free shuttle,( book early). The resort is massive, located quite a distance from Hoi An city it is a beautiful place to unwind and relax. A shuttle bus will take you into the old city which is well worth the effort The centre piece is the magnificent pool, with the beach nearby The wife and I had a great spa experience and for a 3 hr treatment it was a reasonable price Lots of empty space due to covid but once things are back to some level of normal it will have everything

This resort is huge, far-away from the Hoi An town then it's quite and relaxing. Beach is clean, white sand, beautiful sunset. Services overall is OK, shuttle bus is a big plus. Some things need to improved: _ the refrigerator is not working properly _ dinning room at level 1 is extremely hot _ not enough towel at the pool _ lack of activity or beach sport equipment _ pool bar is boring

This new resort was great! The price, the food, the staff were all very nice, we all agree that we will definitely stay in this resort again if we will re-visit Da Nang in future. The only inconvenience we experienced were there were not enough litter bins inside the apartment, it would be great if every toilets, living room and dining has one at least. Also benches for putting luggage was not enough inside the bedrooms. Apart from these, this resort is worth staying and lovely!

TRANSPORTATION NEEDED TO GET AROUND”
the hotel provides transfer to the city, about 10-15 mins drive. rooms are clean and place is peaceful. for a two days stay, I would have chosen to stay in the old city. hotel is adjoining to the cinema and mall which is still quite new and not many shops are open.

Positives: by the beach, peaceful, free shuttle to town, pool is great for young children, rooms were clean and spacious Negatives: unfinished in many areas, kitchen with no utensils or kitchenware, trash on beach, mediocre food, useless balcony with loud air condition units.

Good for apartment with 3 bedrooms for family travel”
Plus point: 1/ Welcome drinks always available at the reception lobby during my stay except on Sunday my last day. 2/ There is a supermarket inside the resort, which help a lot if you want to quick bite. This is great as the location is quite far from Hoi An, and no grocery store near the resort. 3/ Look like there is always a taxi nearby 4/ We used in-room dinning. They cooked well. 5/ Large swimming pool and has shallow pool for kit as well 6/ Mini bus to visit Hoi An Minus point: 1/ They have a big ambition to have a shopping mall inside the resort, but it hasn't worked so far, and many shop houses still closed until now. Because of these shop house, it took a long walk to room, pool & beach. 2/ Very hot breakfast area, if you arrive late, your table will be very far from the buffet area. They arranged the water vapor fan, but not enough.

Very large resort with still a lot to be done I think they have gone to big and tried to squeeze to much in its open to the public eg shops , restaurants, cinema so when it is fully finished it won’t feel private . We had a problem with the room we thought we booked and what room we got when I brought it up with the manager at the time Miss Suong she was very understanding and went out of her way to fix the issue and made the rest of the stay really good she really did change the way I would wrote the review. Like I said keep in mind it is a soft opening still it is very nice and new large pool and right on the beach with shuttles taking you in and picking you up to town the breakfast buffet was really good large selection of different food I would stay there again due to how Miss Suong went above and beyond to make sure we had a nice time there
