Overlooking the harbour, The Pier Inn in Whitby enjoys a seafront location and offers en suite rooms with free Wi-Fi. This traditional pub and restaurant is just 4 minutes’ walk from the town centre, less than 2 miles from the North York Moors. Rooms at The Pier Inn have sea views, a flat-screen TV, wardrobe and tea and coffee facilities. All have en suite facilities with a shower. A full English breakfast is served each morning. Food is served in the pub at lunchtimes and in the evening. This inn is around 13 minutes’ drive from the pretty fishing village of Robin Hood’s Bay. The Whitby Museum, Pannett Park and the Captain Cook Memorial Museum are all within 10 minutes’ walk.

Overnight stay”
Stopped over for the bank holiday weekend. Whitby was pretty full so glad we booked. Location is amazing right on to the harbour, we had double room which had a great view out of so beautiful sunset and dawn. The room was just right some may say small but it is in keeping with the character of the building and can only imangine the history behind it and who stayed in the room a hundred years back. The Inn itself is a good size, good priced drinks. The staff were excellent all covid rules adhered to and security on a night to prevent too many entries. Breakfast next morning was excellent! A good choice. I had eggs royals , poached eggs cooked perfect and sauce really tasty. Would I go again..yes indeed

Not bad but not a good night sleep noise at night till late and street delivery’s from 530. Am. Came home. Needing sleep. Food hit and miss first day. Wouldn’t have given my breakfast to my dog. Next day. Was spot on. , Lot of dog hair in the breakfast lounge. Very dirty. But rooms were clean

Location couldn't be better”
A very friendly welcome and easy check-in, with parking arrangements included in the stay. We booked last minute for two nights but couldn't stay in the same room although the Pier Inn tried their best to accommodate us. Had a great stay and Whitby is beautiful. The Pier Inn has fine beers and the included breakfast was a great selection and was well cooked and served with a smile. Extremely friendly and accommodating team at the Pier Inn... thank you!

Could not have a better location or view room small and quaint which I love only thing washbasin a little small and shower a bit of a squeeze but that's only because we are pensioners now and room to Manoeuvre otherwise nothing to say love the place looking forward to going back

Location, friendlines and just great”
We were a fairly last minute booking, split between two rooms due to no availability, but we wanted to stay at the Pier for its look, location and convenience. It was the perfect place and exceeded expectations. Rooms were cozy and clean, with all needed amenities. Parking scratch cards were provided with clear guidelines on where to go. Breakfast was outstanding, with cereals and fruit on a diy table and order anything from the great selection of hot food. Nothing was too much trouble for the team who were very friendly. Special mention to Frank(sorry if spelled wrong) who did a great check in and was attentive whenever he saw us. Thanks to all the team our Whitby stay was great.

Summary”
Very small room and bathroom. Staff were efficient. Location good but not recommended on a music night! Breakfast was a standard price at £10pp whether you had full English or just a bowl of cereal.
