Excellent all round hotel”

The Print Works Hotel was an excellent choice, on our behalf, It was very central, 5 minutes from the train station, very local, to good bars and restaurants. The hotel it’s self was very clean, the manager and her staff, could not do enough for you, they were all so friendly. If we god back to Liverpool, we would certainly stay there again, cannot recommend it highly enough.

Stayed for 10 days for my son’s exams... Clean with large room, comfy bed. Very good location in the heart of Liverpool . Staff are friendly. Express check in and check out. Lime Street train station is only five minutes walk. Bus station direct to airport in front of the hotel. Certainly will stay at Print Works Hotel again!

Location, location and location

Strategically located at the heart of the city, all major attractions are easily accessible by walking. The nearest rail station (Liverpool Lime Street Station) is just 3 minutes walking distance away. High Street is about 10 minutes away by walking. Overall the experience with the hotel and staffs are highly satisfactory.

The location is great, easily reached from Lime Station (5 min) or Liverpool One Coach Station (10 min). We booked a quadruple room. It has large space & large bathroom. My familiy (especially kids) are happy to stay. Unfortunally, no lift so we had to drag our luggages to our room at 3rd floor by stairs. The staffs were friendly & helpful.

So pleased we found this Hotel”

If your looking for a place to rest your head in a clean comfortable room with tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer ,fluffy towels, TV, ironing board and a place to eat breakfast and relax in the morning then why go and pay silly rates at a five star location when there is the Print Works. They have it all!!! Staff were very friendly and so helpful. We had breakfast and we can recommend this too. Check out time of 11am was a bonus. We will be back.

My parents are thoroughly impressed”

We booked a quadruple room and for the price, the room is really way out of our expectations. It has large space, kettle and complimentary tea and coffee, working TV and Wifi (although the piece of paper with the info flew underneath of a bed so we didn't see it), large bathroom and towels for each one of us, iron, and fans. Although the air conditioner seemed to be faulty, two standing fans were supplied and they're sufficient for the weather of late July. The staff are really accommodating and there's a luggage storage room if you need to store yours. In terms of cleanliness, it could be improved as there are white and blonde strands of hairs on the floor (we all have black hairs) and mildew in typical places in bathroom; but they're very minor problems in relation to its pros. The location is very good: a step next to the town centre and 7-10 minutes walk to the Lime Street Station. Easily accessible and there's a tesco express and a lots of eateries around the area.

Wouldn't go back ”

We stayed here only for one night and wanted somewhere cheap as was just passing through on the way to Scotland. This wasn't the cheapest hotel online however it looks the nicest when looking in more detail. We arrived a little early and the girl who was on reception was very friendly and informative explaining that we couldn't check in for another couple of hours and directed us to the car park round the corner (£8 a night) I was very impressed, parked the car and spent the afternoon exploring Liverpool. This hotels location is prefect it's extremely central just up from the Adelphi hotel and Lewis's department store. Excellent for the Albert Dock, cavern quarter, Liverpool One and many more places of interest. We arrived back later on and were given the keys to our room which was situated on the lower ground floor. Once we opened the door the room, although nicely decorated, had a massive damp issue. The could be seen on the ceiling of the shower but most of all it smelt terribly musty and of damp. I decided to start the air conditioning to try and rid the room Of the stench but the problem was the air conditioning was blowing out air which absolutely stank of cigarettes. It was horrible. I asked reception for another room And was told only one more was available but this would be at a supplement. As I was only going to be there one night I decided to stay put. Later on that evening when settling down for the night the room was noisy due to guests staying above us and the room was very hot and stuffy with only 1 flimsy flat pillow. I asked reception for another only to be told no More in the hotel (which was a lie as the next morning a maids cupboard on the same floor was open and there were lots of pillows in there) the staff member just didn't want to get another one. So as a result I had a very disturbed nights sleep and left early the day to continue my drive north feeling extremely agitated and tired! Will not stay here again.

The rooms on the lower levels can get very hot and stuffy! Other than that the rooms are OK for the price! The hotel location in relation to the city centre is great! And the majority of the staff couldn't do more to help you! Overall an enjoyable stay and I would recommend and visit again👌🏼

Excellent”

The location is great. Lime Street Station is just a 5 minute walk to the north and Chinatown is a 5-10 minute walk to the south. As the hotel is along a major street, there was some noise from the traffic during the day and people shouting at night. There is a bus lane outside the hotel so we had to park along a side street one block away (next to Tesco Express). There are more parking spaces in Mount Pleasant Car Park but navigating through the car park is anything but pleasant. Reception of the hotel is tiny but the staff was fast and efficient. Our room (4 bed room) is spacious and offers good value, although my mum joked that the layout of the 4 beds look like a hospital ward. Another 2 people in our group of 6 stayed in a double room and they were not so lucky as their room was small and windowless. The 2 people ended up coming to our 4 bed room regularly to stretch their legs. There was only 1 chair in our 4 bed room so some of us had to sit on our beds and on the window sill.

Convenient hotel along a major street, with plenty of dining options nearby and a Tesco Express supermarket just around the corner. We booked a double room without windows. While the room is clean, it is a bit cramped and there is a smell associated with dampness and poor ventilation. When we gave our feedback to the staff, she promptly applied air freshener to the room. Given the location, the hotel still offers good value due to its low rates.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on the 30/09/11 for our first wedding anniversary. it took us ten around ten minutes to find out how to work the air conditioning as there were no instructions or welcome pack also we had taken valuables with us and we could not use the safe as it was open with locks on and no instructions on how to use it Whilst inspecting the room we found there was no soap in the bathroom There were items left from a previous guest There was no mini bar We decided to ring down to reception and ask for assistance but unfortunately the phone did not work I decided to walk down the two flight of stairs to reception to report my issues and to which i was told and i quote " oh yeah the phones don't seem to work were not really sure why, and i think there are some keys somewhere for the safe but i don't think we have keys for them all anyway, and I’ll try and find you some soap”. approx. 45mins later the receptionist knocked at our door and stated " I’m sorry we can't find any keys to the safe and was it soap you wanted, he left Approx. a further 30mins later the receptionist returned to the room with a bar of soap. We would have liked a small sleep in the next day but at approx. 0800am someone downstairs was emptying bottles into the bins for approx. 15mins directly below our room window causing a substantial amount of noise even with the windows shut. I believe without bed and breakfast is far too high a price to pay for the standard of room and service provided at this hotel

The room was in the cellar, very damp, smelling of moth Balla, no window, airco not working. And not the three separate beds that were booked. Receptionist was fine, found an extra duvet. Hotel was full so we could not be moved. We managed, but won't stay again. Secure parking down the road should be advertised on the website and clearly not part of the hotel site.
