Not big room but clean, warm and comfortable. Great breakfast but go early as close up on time. Friendly staff and great location, Stayed there a few times now, great price and no complaints at all if your looking for a clean comfortable stay at a great price.

Great Breakfast and Location!”
I stayed at the Sandyford Hotel when I got COVID by the end of my trip and had to extend my trip due to regulations from my home country banning me from getting home at that time. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful whenever I needed help. I stayed at two of their single rooms, both of the rooms were nice and clean and the size of the room was satisfactory. The location of the hotel was very nice, with a bus station right outside of the hotel. The iconic Kelvingrove Museum was within walking distance. Back then, those little strolls around the park and the streets near the hotel as I get dinner from Tesco or Sainsbury's always makes me feel so glad I was still in Glasgow! And definitely wake up early for the breakfast! As a solo traveler with little chance to go to the fancier restaurants in Glasgow, the breakfast at Sandyford was where I got to try the local delicacy Haggis and Black Pudding. Would definitely recommend the place to someone heading to Glasgow! The only downside is probably that there were not lifts in the hotel so you might have to carry your luggage all the way upstairs. But three out of four times I happened to have a very friendly someone (either a guest or staff) help me with that. So I guess you'll be fine, too.

Absolutely great stay”
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. I arrived late Tuesday with a flight at 7am to Seville. The check in couldn't have been quicker, the friendly chap sorted my car parking out for me when I returned on Thursday so there was nothing for me to worry about as I hadn't slept for 24 hours. The room was great and all the staff were brilliant. Sure there are fancier places to stay but this hotel beats them all. Book with confidence.

This is the second time ive stayed here as i was at concerts at the ovo on both occasions. 15 minute walk from hotel to venue. Well worth the money to stay plus a good breakfast which sets you up for the whole day . Definitely staying there again next concert

The staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. The hot breakfast in the morning were amazing. The room was simple yet included everything that a person might need: bathroom, kettle, hair dryer. Looking forward to visiting the place again.

The full Scottish breakfast is a great deal that is complimentary however if you’re vegan like me you’re restricted to toast and jam. Having peanut butter, Dairy free yogurt and oatmeal and vegan sausage rolls (any of the above) would have been awesome.

Needed a cheap room in the heart of Glasgow to see an event at the Ovo Hydro. Was not disappointed. Fabulous stay at the Sandyford, wonderful staff, comfortable bed, spotless bathroom and a scrumptious breakfast. To say value for money is an understatement. I'll be back....

Hotel was fine for the money paid. A very small single room but adequate for my purposes. Toilet seat broken and although reported to reception was not repaired whilst I was there. Good location being on bus route to centre and airport.
