    Enjoy a rustic experience at The Shorea, which offers air-conditioned, wood villas with free Wi-Fi. Located in Kampung Orang Asli, Negeri Sembilan, it is surrounded by nature and features an outdoor pool. The Shorea is a 20-minute drive to Seremban Bus Terminal Station. Seremban town is approximately 9 km away. It takes a 30-minute drive to reach Kuala Lumpur International Airport and the Low Cost Carrier Terminal. Equipped with a private balcony, each villa offers forest views and an attached semi-outdoor bathroom with bathtub. Villas also include a TV, kitchen with stove, refrigerator and rice cooker. Guests can cook in the privacy of their own villa of go to The Shorea Dining Pavilion, where there is a common kitchen, oven and a selection of herbs like lemon grass, parsley, spring onions and rosemary. A personal chef and meals can also be arranged on request.

    Good place, nice good, chilling but there is some improvement need to be make.”

    I like it is close to the nature, the dinner and breakfast is great! The view is nice the pool is great too. First of all, i was influenced by the bad review in the facebook, and i was about to cancel the whole trip. But in the end, we are amazed by the villa it provided, it is clean and nice, the view is great, and the dinner served is delicious. It is great for a short break.
    Some of the switches are not functional, and the lightings is not bright enough, especially the toilet. At night is quite a lot of noise, you might need to take a while to use to it. They late for the breakfast for half an hour, but they allow us to check out late as compensation. There is one thing I dislike, it is lack of security. The door are unable to lock and not providing us a key, it make us feel like they will be someone coming in our room at any moment. Suggest that making the door lockable.

    Great for a quick weekend for some rest and relaxation.”

    Communicated with the team through email and had food organized for our stay. We stayed at the resort section (there are two areas, the resort and the villa which is not very clear from the room options. The resort is more traditional, but has an attached kitchen, while the villa area is more modern but doesn't include a kitchen. All food options were delicious, and staff communication was very courteous. Room itself was good, bed and mattress were comfortable and warm; great for the cool nights. The mosquito netting was a boon. The villa lighting might be a bit dim. Not much storage space, but fine for a weekend getaway. The bathroom was clean, but may have needed some maintenance (the downside of an open outdoor bathroom). The hot water doesn't run very hot (so not great if you've just come in from a dip from the pool on a cool-ish day). Pool was great, very pleasant.
    1. Communication with staff was through Whatsapp but the phone number changes. Suggest for a central line. 2. Poor 3G and wifi connection. 3. Maintenance needed at some areas, some of the wooden areas may look a bit shabby. 4. Bathroom lighting too dim.

    facility is good and environment is really peaceful and beautiful.
    When I did the booking, I requested for lunch to be served on the check out date thus making my check out time at 1pm. However, on the date the manager in duty Ms Syahirah requested us to check out at 12pm without serving lunch since they claim need to prepare the resort for check in customers on the said date. It’s really disappointing and stressful that we have to argue requesting them to accommodate for what we have booked for. Finally they served us lunch and we checked out after that.

    I like that it’s surrounded by nature.
    My family and I stayed for 2 nights. The room is not clean and there were many lizard droppings everyday. Fortunately there is a mosquito net on top of our bed to catch the droppings, else would have dropped on us when we sleep. There are staffs staying under our villa and they were loud. They also swam in the villa pool. We ordered ATV rental a day ahead but was only told that the the cars were not functioning on the day itself.
