Amazing stay - 10/10 would recommend”
Staying at the Slate was one of the best options we made and we wished we stayed here for more nights! On top of the amazing design, we had excellent service from the resort staff, rooms were huge, comfortable, clean and the entire resort was huge with bars and restaurants as well. Would highly recommend going to Black Ginger for dinner (at the resort). The beach (nai yang) was also 2 minutes walking distance with a good mix of local stalls.

my best hotel stay ever!! ”
- I really love how all the staff are very very attentive. The were all so polite but can also make me feel at ease all the time. - My room was quite spacious and the bed was very comfy. I like that the hotel let me choose my own pillow type which really helped me sleep very well. Shower gel, shampoo and body lotion smells really nice. - the Black Ginger restaurant was splendid! The authentic Southern Thai dishes with the very impressive service. The price was quite high, though. The cocktails at Tongkah were also excellent. - I would like to especially thank one of the front desk staff with short hair, I forgot to ask for her name, but I think she called herself Nan. Thank you very much Khun Nan for helping me solving the problem with application from Thai Government. I really appreciate it. And also thank you the reservation, Khun Amy, for promtly arranging my airport transfer.

Exceptional ”
The buggy was always on time to take us to the beach , coupled with the immaculate services provided by each and every staff starting from the buggy personnel to the servers . I would like to commend Ball, and I felt welcomed to have complementary tea at the pool (as there was electrical maintenance at the hotel for easily 5 hrs). My partner was in the room and he allowed for me to take away the afternoon tea and he even apologised for the wait which I felt it was alright & in fact I myself had inconvenienced the staff . I would like to come back soon.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Everything is available and staff is very helpful and kind. The family pool is very good from toddler to older kids. There are other pools for only adults so it is really easy with family. There is a kids club with programs too. We loved the food, room and everything. Beach is very close to if you want to go to the sea but we preferred just stay inside the resort.

The hotel room was splendid. Its big and spacious. Brought our 7 months for the stay and they even provide with a baby cot. Hotel have an access to the beach and nice boat restaurant within the hotel. Staff is friendly. The only cons side I will say is there are mosquito. The staff are uniformly superb. Special thanks to Rosie in reservations - she made it all possible with help for our Thailand Pass. The decor and design are creative. Landscaping is tops. Pools are inviting and fun. AND THE FOOD can't be beat. Try the Black Ginger restaurant - it is an experience for the senses.

2 days was not enough”
You really feel like you are in a private resort at The Slate. Everything felt beautifully designed and 5 star. I enjoyed their bath products and made sure to stop by the gift store. I wish I could have bought back some of the decoration but I didn't space in my luggage. The breakfast buffet was great! For being beside the airport, it had a great beach and still felt relaxing. The only thing was on the last day, I was in a rush to grab a snack and then go to the airport, even though I told the staff that I had to leave in 30 mins, they were not able to get my sandwiche ready and spent 20 mins just waiting for bread to arrive. I think there were some level of miscommunication, and just the staff not really understanding the needs of the customers. It made me feel more stress. Funny, when I bite into my sandwiche, the casing on the salami was still on. Perhaps, it is just lack of awareness. But I think some more language training and with foreign ingredients would be helpful.

We love The Slate. It’s unique design, shaded areas of the pool, extensive and interesting grounds and tonnes of activities for the kids. Not to mention amazing restaurants, yes they are dear but worth every dollar! There are also cheaper eats on the beach just outside the gates. We will be back!!!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Slate, we were a family of 5 we booked 3 beautiful pearl suit Pool view but we didn’t get our pool view suites, I don’t know why although my booking was very clear with pool view!!!
