The best! ”

I’ll rate 11/10 if they allow me. First off, let’s start with the location. It is strategically located in the heart of chinatown, where food is abundant, just a stone throw away from petaling street and a short walk to the mrt/ lrt station. Plus you get to ride the free GoKL bus! Next, the facilities of the hostel. The hostel is equipped with A/C that turn on all day long that make your butt freeze like you’re in the Arctic but that’s okay because you’ll have that refreshing feeling when you return from a 36’c weather. When they say ‘breakfast is the most important meal of the day’, they weren’t kidding. Bread with various spread and healthy oats are provided-FREE! Staff of the hostel? Friendly, helpful, nice and make you feel welcome as you step into the main entrance! What more can I say? Not forgetting the hidden gem above the hostel. A quintessential drinking spot, Attic Bar to enjoy a night-view of Kuala Lumpur while sipping on the cocktail, served by the gorgeously-clad bartenders. I had only wanted to stay for a night or two but I extended my stay up to 3 weeks because this hostel just screams comfort (not a 4 star hotel sort) where travellers come together to connect and explore the beauty of Malaysia. Travelhub is not just a hostel, it is a place that brings people together.

will absolutely return!”

Extended my stay to a week after a couple of days. Cheap, free breakfast, super close to MRT/LRT Pasar Seni and Free GOKL bus, in the middle of chinatown of gastronomical delight and really fun people to hang out with. Of course the entire place is clean, the cleaners clean them everyday, the room is as cold as arctic and you get towels with deposit of MYR10. Plus, have some wine and chill at the attic bar with an amazing view of KL tower. This is worth every penny or ringgit! So what more can you ask for? Don't ask, just stay. It is an experience you will not forget!

Absolutely amazing”

If there’s a rating of 1-10, I’ll give a 20! The staff are just the best! Flora, Jen, Edgar and Brian are very helpful and really nice. You won’t feel that they’re a staff at travelhub, but rather a family. Facilities are superb! A/C all day in the room which can make you feel you’re in the Arctic but it is refreshing after returning from a long walk under 35’C weather. Hot and cold showers available and of course free internet! You get to have a hearty breakfast with breads that comes with various spread and oats to give you good energy for the day as they say ‘breakfast is the most important meal of the day!’ Not forgetting the hidden gem above the hostel which is the Attic Bar! Served by 3 gorgeously-clad men, you get to enjoy the quintessential

good budget place to stay a few nights”

Location, staff, cleanliness is good. Just a note that some beds are really squeaky and there are no curtains to cover your bed. Also there is construction right across and the noise may bother some people. Location is great - close to the main bus hub and also some train lines. Lots of food around chinatown :)

A great place for its money”

The only con at this place was a huge cockroach in my room jumping in the night, everything else is a positive thing. The location is perfect: a metro station and a bus hub where the free of charge purple bus is running. There are many places to eat in Little India and Chinatown, plus the market is across the street, and lots of sights are one or two subway stations far from the hostel. Breakfast at this hostel is something else. Maybe I was exploiting this feature but they offer unlimited toasts and coffee, what you don't see often. The room was relatively big and tidy, we slept with windows opened, without the A/C in the night, and the temperature was comfortable (it was in February). The staff was friendly and helpful, they changed the room cuz I was after an accident and couldn't climb the stairs. They gave me the first room right in front of the lift. Definitely recommend if you come to KL :)

Pretty nice hostel”

Next to Chinatown, market and no too far of a touristic moss and park, that's good for tourism. Personal are pretty friendly, and you have a light breakfast available: toast, several jams, coffee, tea, porridge.. wake up early to enjoy the 3 bananas on the table. Room were good, you can have a little locker with a refundable deposit of 10 RM. The bar on the top are not really frequented by the guests and prices are pretty high. Otherwise it was great to stay there!

The hostel atmosphere is really great, with many options to get to know fellow travellers, go together to the bar. People working at the hostel are amazing as well, helpful etc(waving to Brian especially). We stayed in an AC room on the 3rd floor. The hostels around offer a bed in a dorm for the same amount of money! But here you get a room, a breakfast and staff ready to help any moment. There are Chinese and Indian restaurants nearby, a free purple bus going to the most popular tourist attractions, and the metro station is two minutes walking distance.
