Family with Kids”
The hotel has an awesome view and layout. C/I was very smooth. Room very spacious and clean with the small natural look fountain outside the room. Buggy is available anytime to pick you up from/ to your room to the main building (FO, restaurants, swimming pool) but if you don't carry any luggage its better to take a walk to enjoy the surrounding.

Great and peaceful place to stay”
We enjoyed our week at this hotel and had a really good time using it as a base for trips around Yogyakarta (Borobodur, Prambanan, Yogyakarta city). The lake view rooms are great as you can watch the fish swim past your room or even feed them (great for kids). Everything was in good condition and well tended, the breakfast buffet was huge with a lot of different things to choose from. Things to know: There isn't much to do within walking distance of the hotel (apart from eating at the Westlake Resto), so you do need transport for everything else (not a problem though, just use Grab or BlueBird). You can have your clothes cleaned at Mama Laundry on the main road, but brush up your Indonesian as the owner doesn't speak much English (you'll manage though). Don't be afraid to ask for a knife at breakfast, they actually do have knives (at least one :-))!

Very pleasured stay”
I have one night stay at The Westlake Resort. I have a very good time here. I love the concept of this resort. It’s mind relaxing to enjoy the beautiful lake view from my room, from the morning till the romantic night view. The view around the room (small waterfall, small park) was also very satisfying. I also love the breakfast menu. They have many kinds of food and all of them are delicious. Definitely will come back.

Weren’t to be stay there for 3 nights but we’ve extended another night. We love it so much this place and for sure we will be back there. Food is great, staffs are friendly and helpful. A lots of stuffs kids can do there. Live it the fish pond behind our room. Kids fed fishes every day

It has a lot of fish in the lake, they provide fish food 2 pack in the room for only Rp.10.000,- (2019). You can have unforgetable experience with your family here. It's very recommended for you who likes nature environtment, enjoy some time to quit from reality :). but it's quite far from the central city, around 20 - 30 minutes according to gmap or waze.

Nice place with many activity”
My kids love the swimming pool, clean, and shady. Bike was fun and effordable. The fish come to my balcony, so many and makes me amazed. I wish there are sofas in the room, the chairs are too hard, should be more homy for the room. I hate the shower, i wish a handle sower.

+ friendly and helpful staff + spacious room (& king bed for the 4 of us) + hot water and water pressure runs well + AC works well + very relaxing ambience + activities available : fishing, fish feeding (buy the food), bike rent hourly is available, sampan riding (a bit overpriced), swimming in the pool + free shuttle to go back and forth from lobby to room + room price is including 20% voucher for dinner or lunch in the hotel - no door peep hole - swimming with improper swimming suit is allowed (t-shirt and short pants)

Great one”
Pluses: We had a room with a view facing the lake (pond), it was awesome while we could feed fish in the pond too which was a great one for my kid. Room was spacey, clean, bathroom was clean and roomy too. Minuses: room was far from resort’s lobby but they provided shuttle anytime I needed anyway, yet still it’s not as convenient as I thought since I had to call staff and wait etc etc. Breakfast was Ok, not so great, NO cheese just fyi.

This is truly a gem. Firstly beautiful property. Spacious, well maintained, really polite staff (who went above norm to pack breakfast for all as we left on trips at 5am daily), convenient location. The night views are really nice and rooms really spacious. Value for money.
