Situated on Whitby’s North Promenade, on Western Cliff, The Wheeldale offers cooked breakfasts, free parking and free Wi-Fi. This adult-only accommodation offers a cosy bar and wonderful views across the North Sea. The individually designed bedrooms at Wheeldale each have a private bathroom and a flat-screen TV with Sky channels. Some rooms have seating areas and impressive sea views, and all rooms have tea/coffee facilities. A delicious full English breakfast is served daily, featuring award-winning ingredients and meat from a quality local butcher. Light continental and vegetarian options are also available. Pros are easily accessible to Whitby town and amenities. And the view was lovely. Cons are the room smelt of damp and was very basic with no blind at large bathroom window. Breakfast was poor and regimented.
