Great Hotel”
We were extremely impressed with the value for price. Although our room was compact it was extremely clean, modern and beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and we were highly impressed that such an affordable room had a large television with Sky Movies! The complimentary cheese and wine was a great surprise and definitely not something I would have expected for how little we paid. Location was ideal also and the staff were friendly. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Glasgow.

Perfect for 1 or 2 nights”
We have stayed in the Liverpool Z Hotel so knew what we were getting. You get what you pay for, in that the rooms are small and ours didn't have a window. But when on a budget and not in the room much, it's fine! Just set an alarm as the room is always pitch black. Rooms are best for solo travellers or couples due to the frosted glass around the bathroom, doesn't offer much privacy. It was quiet, clean and in a fab location in central Glasgow. Staff were helpful and polite. The main perks of this hotel is that it has Sky TV, complimentary bottled water and twa/coffee in the room and best of all, the complimentary cheese and glass of wine which runs every evening from 5-8pm! We paid for breakfast buffet (£7.50 each if you pay the night before). There was a great selection of fresh food including bacon rolls, scrambled/boiled egg, cereals, pastries, bagels, crumpets, bread, fruit, muesli, meats, cheeses, juice and tea/coffee. We will definitely be using the Z's again!

Perfect location in city Centre. Staff, helpful and obliging. Bed was very comfortable and tea and coffee facilities were offered. I enjoyed the cheese and wine which was on offer also! I would def recommend and will return.

Good value hotel in a great location”
Stayed in another Z hotel before so met expectations Reception is also bar. Great welcome and very efficient. They were serving their free wine and cheese so busy and a good atmosphere. Room clean and efficient. It is small but was exactly as i expected and paid for. Clean sheets and plenty of fresh towels. WC and shower in a glass cabin in room. Very functional. Was disturbered by water noise from A/C or plumbing. Told staff in the morning and they showed interest and offered me a free coffee. Staff were excellent. Walk to George Square ( centre of Glasgow) about 20 seconds! Safe area with lots of food and drink and entertainment venues nearby. All in all a fantastic place if you can get a good price

Great location”
This hotel is close to one of the 500 Airport Express stations. Centrally located and they have wine and cheese from 5-8pm! We got the room without the window which we dont really mind. if you’re looking for more room to move in this might not be the hotel for you. In our case, the room was perfect for us as we only stayed for 3nights and wanted to be very much in the city center! Would recommend staying here!

Positive pros were definitely the ideal location to be central to the city. The general appearance inside is as is described quirky. Staff went above and beyond to make you feel welcome and cater for any requests. What stood out the most was the courteous staff. They were very,very pleasant and approachable with any little detail or request you may ask for to make your stay comfortable and memorable.

Early morning start”
Booked here as a last minute stay for an early morning train journey from Queen St station. Lovely hotel with really friendly and helpful staff. Location was excellent and the wine and cheese buffet was a great start to our weekend! Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Excellent Location ”
Excellent location attended concert at Royal concert hall , mobility issues , stayed the evening to make it easier for me , I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of this Hotel , perfect spotless white bedding & soft fluffy white towels , Large wall mounted LCD TV with Sky no extra cost , rooms compact but hairdryer, tea , coffee tray , toiletries etc so didn’t need to ask for anything, staff very pleasant and reception on arrival very pleasant , welcoming, Even though I did not go down for cheese & wine that was available free I thought it was a nice touch , I would certainly recommend this hotel , also I look forward to returning if ever staying overnight in future.

I would give the staff 6* if it was possible - they're very friendly and professional. Location is also great because the hotel is 1 minute walk from Queen Street train station right in the city centre alongside great restaurants, bars, shopping

From what you pay, it’s an ideal place for staying over at the weekend after a night out or just to causally stay about 100 meters from George square. Rooms are compacts but are kept clean to a high standard. Didn’t try their breakfast but I’m sure it would be good enough for the price you pay!
