My husband and I recently stayed in Thien Thanh for 4 days 3 nights and we had a great time. First and foremost, the outlook of the hotel is truly vintage and the landscaping is beautiful. The staffs at the reception were welcoming and proficient in English. They were very helpful and informative whenever we ask them anything. We also loved the room a lot. It’s not only spacious but most importantly, everything seemed very new and clean, something which is important for me. As for the location, it’s in the centre of town and there are many restaurants around the area. In addition, the night market is also within walking distance which was very convenient. We truly love the breakfast spread provided. There are a lot of choices to choose from ranging from continental to local cuisines. The hotel is also very near to the station that provides shuttle to Vin pearl land if you’re interested in going here. The hotel has a private beach although the beach is not really suitable for swimming due to the rough condition. We were happy with the pool and gym though. Above all that, the price was truly a bargain as it is so affordable for such a hotel that we can deem as 5-star. All in all, we were really happy with our stay and will definitely be back if we were to visit phu quoc again.

Spendy for Vietnam, worth the splurge ”
We really enjoyed our stay at Thiên Thanh... we decided to “splurge” and pay a little more for a nice hotel that was on the beach. We stayed here 6 nights and were upgraded to the garden view rooms closer to the pool and dining hall. We really appreciated the upgrade! Nice pool, nice area/spot of the beach with lots of beach loungers and umbrellas. However, no rule for coming early and leaving your towel there all day even if you’re not occupying beach chair, so prepare to go early and reserve one if busy time. Pool bar could use a little spark to it, more like check in counter where you drop towels off and also can order a cocktail or coffee. No actual bar to sit at but no big deal for us. Also not open late and didn’t seem like anyone ate food from menu that was there. Breakfast was a nice spread and was a little different every day. Lots of fruit and coffee options which was my favorite. Traditional pho and then of course many western and Russian breakfast options. Also an odd amount of desserts served at breakfast but nice to those who like sweets! We booked last minute, but a breakfast employee let us know if we would have let him know ahead of time that one of us was gluten free they could have accommodated some options (flew stuff in). However, that was fine and he even made me a special dish of some sort every morning that was gluten free (usually salad). It was very kind of him and it was always appreciated. The location is also excellent. Just enough off the road and through a secure gate to have that safety and resort feeling but right next to tons of yummy restaurants all in walking distance. The night market is also about a 10 min walk away or a very cheap taxi ride. This was probably the nicest hotel for the area and while we saw nicer or bigger resorts down the road, we continuously said to each other we’re glad we choose where we did because it was so nice and such a great location compared to having a bigger resort but being farther away or not ha

I travelled with a group of eight friend. To Phu Quoc Island. Majority of the travellers were not interested in going to Phu Quoc Island as There is limited information of the island. On arrival, the grand entrance, friendly staff and upgrade for the person that did the booking were all pluses. Until we got into our rooms. Spacious, clean, large beds, tub and shower, best of all ladies lots and lots of mirrors. As you walk towards the pool, the gym, spa and play area for the kids. What more can you ask when there is also a Private beach down the steps of the pool. We stayed three days at the resort, just relaxing and enjoying the sun. The massages on the beach was amazing. Nearby seafood all within reach, so fresh and tasty. I can see myself returning to the hotel. Everything about the hotel was grand, especially the buffet breakfast catered to Europeans, Asians and Vietnamese Groups. Loved the espressos and lattes. The hotel even took care of our shuttle to the airport

Excellent hotel and location!”
We were incredibly pleased with our stay at Thien Thanh Resort. Wonderful location and excellent Vietnamese staff! There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and we preferred them over the hotel's lunch/dinner. The beach takes you far south making it perfect for strolling about the greater part of a day. While we didn't utilize the pool that much, it was clean, sized as in the pictures, and the pool area had a nice atmosphere. We booked a Deluxe room with ocean view and cannot recommend it enough. I've no doubt that is the best choice of room at this hotel (we stayed on Level 6). Everyday housekeeping with new towels etc. Service was excellent and the Vietnamese staff really made an effort to make sure we were fully satisfied. The hotel was recently promoted to 5 stars, but as always take that with a grain of salt if comparing with European standards. We expected a newly built 3-star hotel/resort and came out really happy!

Greeting staffs awaits you at the hotel entrance with big smiles. Check in process was simple and quick. Impressive breakfast buffet spreads from Western to Eastern in selections. Tropical fruits were my favorite. All staffs are so friendly and remember you from last stay. Communication was overall easy. Considering this as my second visit to Phu Quoc, without hesitation I was confident to book this hotel and expect another top quality services away from home. For the value of money, every penny you sent was worth it except massage service at the beach (below five stars). By the way, hotel massage is highly recommended compare to outside locals. I enjoyed the Spa and showers as they are included with massage. Summing up my experience at Thien Thanh, located in the middle of city (walking distance to the Night Market) and whole premises along the Beach was a huge advantage to get around, sightseeing, shopping, countless eateries and cafes. Cleanness and quietness are excellent.

This is a resort with many advantages”
I stayed there for four days. I recommend the Thien Thanh resort here. 1. Large and Clean swimming pool (depth 1.2 ~ 1.6m) 2. Private beach with sunset view 3. Friendly staff always smiling (I especially appreciate "Mr. Dong" for helping me with airport shuttle service and resort use.) 4. A comfortable and clean room 5. Good breakfast 6. Many restaurants and cafes nearby If you walk about 15 minutes, there is a night market. There is no reason not to recommend Finally, I would like to thank "Mr. Dong:" once again.

Pros - location, cleaniness, helpful staff. They even provide airport transfer which is a plus. My room was also updgraded to a seaview. Thanks! Located about 1km from night market which takes about 15mins walk. Otherwise one can rent a bike or get a taxi which taxi stand is conveniently located just outside hotel. Will definitely choose this hotel when i come back. Cons - none really except maybe the bathtub design. During shower, somehow water will flow to floor. But not a major concern.

Had an amazing time doing absolutely nothing at this hotel. The hotel is clean, has a private access to a very clean beach, and amazing avocado shakes. We are particularly fond of one of the staff Ni who took care of our needs effortlessly. She helped us arrange for our transport even outside of Phu Quoc and additional arrangements for our next destination after Phu Quoc. She also took care of our bookings for activities we wanted to take part in on the island and did everything with a smile. Thanks for an amazing stay.

Loved the breakfast! The beach is also very nice -- have to wake up early to claim a beach chair, but it's worth it. You can order food at the bar, and it's very reasonably priced, and tastes very good! Beers are $1 usd. The rooms are big, clean, nice. Can't complain about anything at all!

A top resort on Phu Quoc”
Fantastic facility, perfectly placed for beach or for visiting Duong Dong (15 minutes easy walk, 5 minutes scooter or taxi). Everything is clean and perfectly maintained. The breakfast is amazing, and ao is the pool and the beach. The rooms are great, as is the the gym. A good place to take a rest.

We took the Family room & my daughter had ample space to move around. The Pool and Beach was superb. The Breakfast in the morning had so much of selection that we never got bored staying there for 5 days. Location was so centralised to all the pick up points for our day tours & 5 mins by taxi to the Night Market. They even had offered us the free shuttle to the airport when we were leaving. We will be back for sure :-)

It's a really nice hotel, the best one by far in the area. Near the night Market and bunch of nice restaurants at the door step of the hotel. They got the best strip of beach line amongst all the hotels near by and the staff are really helpful and friendly. If you coming to Phu Quoc, than tip this hotel, you will not regret it.

The breakfast buffet was very good with lots of choice and a dedicated kids choice. The location is right on a good beach and near to bars and restaurants, was excellent. Also there is a nice swimming pool and a bar with reasonable prices for food and drink. The room was cleaned each day, was very clean and they supplied many toiletries also. Overall an excellent experience with friendly, helpful staff and I have recommended it to my friends already. Will definitely be back next year.

Close to restaurants and stores. Super Luxurious and super clean. Breakfast was great. Pool was nice. Main building is quite a walk to beach. Not sure why they only put us on 2nd floor oceanview when hotel was pratically empty. I paid for oceanview and it would have made better business sense for them to give me a higher floor. I feel like this hotel doesn't want to give the guest the best experience possible unless you show them the money. Otherwise it's a beautiful hotel. Would still recommend.

New, modern, clean & bigger than the rest ”
Great hotel. Very new, so everything is in good clean condition. Lots of Russian clientele, but most were pleasant. My only complaints would be, the bar staff at the pool didn't speak much English, and service was a little slow. There are also too many sweet option at the Kidz Corner breakfast buffet. Which makes it difficult to feed the kids any healthy food, when all they want are donuts or chocolate. Great experience and would definitely go back!
