This hotel is situated in Thonburi closer to Wongwian Yai and Phonimit railway stations. It is a newly built star hotel with ultra-friendly staff members, clean rooms, delicious food and many more. I highly recommend this place for any traveler who wants to spend his/her time outside the crowded BKK town area.

The hotel is next to a bts station so it is very convenient. You can tell the owner is looking after the place as it is beautifully detailed and kept very clean. Most hotels in bangkok (including 5 star ones) have the stench of wastewater as they do not use a S trap so the smell of the sewage is often in the room. I did not experience this at W station hotel. The room is large and there is a day bed where you can put your large luggage. Excellent feature. The hot water and water pressure is great. I will definately stay here again.

Okay.. the shower the best feature of a hotel? When you live in the backwoods of Thailand and your shower is being shared with mosquitoes, geckos, and spiders the size of your hand... a clean bathroom and a shower with hot water is like heaven! But seriously, for the money, this hotel is top rate, except maybe the fact that it does cater to large asian tour groups and they tend to congregate in the lobby and flood the breakfast area. Still, it's better than a swarm of mosquitoes!

I already wrote 2 reviews about Aim House. I just wish to give advice to travellers who have had trouble finding this place. Use google maps/GPS to help your taxi driver. Also, the short cut to the Thonbury BTS station is the small street at the corner of which is the 7-eleven convenience store (should be a 8-minute if you are not walking fast). From that station, Siam Centre is only a 15-minute skytrain ride. Robinson is a 2-minute ride. If you get off at that station, you can catch the Chao Phraya Express Tourist Boat which is a very enjoyable thing for adults and children alike. Apart from that, my advice is to book at least a deluxe room when Aim House has a promotion via agoda. It is definitely worth it. The big flat screen TV, the very comfortable bed, etc are worth more than the few extra dollars.

i really love almost everything about this hotel. the room is just so nice and comfy even though it is so old already (i mean come on, this hotel has been there for ages). the location is the best ever. right in front of the mainroad, yet very quite. breakfast orientation is very good as well, although i hate the way i can smell too much butter in the omlette. the elevator is old and a bit scary but it still works well. overall, i really really love this hotel and i will surely go back to it. though, they don't allow thai citizens to book a hotel. i am thai. i had to use my boyfriend's name to book it since he is singaporean. it'd be so much better if they allow thais to do it also.

The Bangkok Loft Inn is one of the best price/performance hotels that I have stayed at. Super clean hotel in Thonburi district. A great hot breakfast and cold buffet was included. The bed was comfortable and rooms were spacious. Only spent one quick night here but I would definitely return!

The hotel was located within 5 min walk from the BTS Krung Thonburi. Hotel comes with a bedroom and a living room. Has a small bartop with microwave and comes with ocmplementary drinking water and instant coffee. 7-11 is located past the BTS station at about 10 min walk away. Not centrally located, but at least with the BTS, travelling around is not too inconvenient.

A quiet peaceful stay out of the tourist route. Taxis may find it difficult. Local street food stalls and open air market 5min walk down the road (5am-6am in morning) allow you to see day to day local bangkok thai life. 5 min walk to BTS Thonburi, 30min to Mochit BTS, 711s, 24x7 nearby, 3 decentish coffee shops neaby, 15min walk to Sena shopping mall with a suprise find, a local rec muay thai gym 500bht can do morning or evening daily. The hotel itself is lovely, boutique cosy, nice elegant decor, great for couples, a decent full breakfast every day makes a difference, we had both thai and western every day for variety. Coffee is decently ok too. Staff are lovely. Bed is nicely soft firm. Bathroom Rain shower with toiletries. The only con here is you will be doing lots of walking up stairs as there are no lifts. To me a fitness buff this is a pro but this is the only aspect that will put off some ppl, everything about this place is lovely. All in all a very lovely gem in bkk.

We paid less than 850 baht per night (no kidding) and got upgraded to room 907 with 180-degree views of the Golden Mount and Bangkok's skyline (best seen at sunrise and in late afternoon). Needless to say, it's one of the best deals we've had in BKK. Yes, it's hidden in a small soi (Arun-amarin 39, hence the name of the hotel, which is also where the gallery of the local handicapped people is located - make sure to check it out for a good cause) but if you don't mind using a taxi, the location is actually very close (without traffic less than 10 min drive) to sights in Thonburi like Wat Arun, Wat Rakhang, the Royal Barge Museum and the highly recommended, recently opened Siriraj Phimukhsthan Museum at the huge Siriraj Hospital complex. The Grand Palace is just across the river; if taking the taxi, it could take about 15 mins without traffic but another option is just to take the ferry from Wat Arun or Siriraj Hospital. Negative aspects? Horrible parking and the lack of good on-site (or nearby) restaurants.

This hotel is convenient if you have a car or motorcycle. It is away from all the touristy areas, on a busy road, but its rooms are situated at the rear of the property and therefore very quiet. Close to Rama 2.

I had a great experience staying at the hotel. The breakfasts were fantastic, the staff was more than helpful, they made sure the taxi drivers knew where I wanted to go, they even drew a map with directions in Thai. The location was not the best but the hotel and staff was much more than I expected. I would recomend this place to anyone who wants a great room and service who doesn't need to be in the center of tourist activities. Two big thumbs up.

Just opened so everything was new and clean. One of the best places I've seen in Bangkok. Staffs were helpful. It's not far from wongwian yai so BTS is the greatest way to get around. The only thing we could possibly nit pick on was the slow drainage in the shower not sure if it's blocked but it's not a big deal.

1. Even Location its further away from the city. Thonburi is more of peaceful and quiet area, fear not about transportation, the BTS public transfort is just a few meters away, despite the passway bridge river is alittle polluted but its still acceptable. If its your first time to thailand you might think whats that. BE RESOURCEFUL google it. its not that hard to understand. 2. FAMILY or A LONG-LOST FRIEND feel of their heart-warming hospitality. to be honest among all the boutiques I have stayed this is probably the only one whom really greeted and welcomed you with all thier heart and soul. The staff were simply amazing, they are helpful, patience and caring for you to let you have your trip the most experience and pleasant stay with them. Dont worry they can communicate very well with english!. 3.CLEANLINESS equals HAPPINESS. the room you will staying in will be cleaned daily, the surroundings and the environment will definitely wow you in ways when you enter the hotel. I dont wanna spoil your experince for this!. 4. Street food is just along the Conner! conveniently 7 ELEVENS and local street food of thonburi will guarantee to satisfy your hungry needs. Open to try new things until you know it you could be probably eating your way to the next pair of jean size!, 5. Thonburi maybe smaller comparing to the malls in siam but recently the birth of ICONSIAM has make the noise for thonburi!. it's easy accessible by tuk tuk or taxi, or you can go t the BTS station and wait for the free shuttle bus to the mall. Again I dont want to spoil your experince! AND HERE THE BONUS AS I PROMISED. we were spending our christmas there, as there are some unexpected surprise they given us. I certainly do not promise you anything or what you will get upon your arrival. But it has given us a very very special, touching and surprising moment making our trip, day more memorable. for that I thank you deeply from the heart THE PATTERN BOUTIQUE HOTEL. we didnt get to say our goodby

There is nothing stylish in this hotel, which offers decent accomodation and superb facilities (very modern gym and large pool) for a cheap price. However, the location of this hotel, in Thonburi on the other side of the river, is simply fantastic. On one hand, you have very quick access to central Bangkok with the Skytrain a few steps away, and Silom or Siam a few stops away. On the other hand, you will be residing in a very lively street of traditional Bangkok: there's an amazing wet market right next door, there is street food everywhere, the whole area becoming a giant restaurant at night. There are literally dozens of temples to visit in the area, you can wander for hours among the small allies and canals without EVER encountering a single tourist, a single farang ! Unbelievable in the #1 tourist destination of the world, but in the 3 days here I have never met a single foreigner outside of the hotel... but locals will invite you to your table at dinner on the street, invite you to pray in temples, children will ask you for photos.... a whole other world, just just 5 BTS stop away from Silom ! AMAZING!

clean, comfortable, relaxing and near by to city, if your looking for abit of bangkok away from the main tourist areas this place is perfect the area is for mainly local bangkok people anbd not many farang around but very friendly and great area lovely little street stalls near by and few bars too. the hotel has everything you need self service laundry, cheap water, small restaurant. i have stayed here many times and always 10 out of 10 here.

Since March 2017, my family and I have stayed 3 times at Charlie House, for a total of 20 nights. It has been a wonderful experience, thanks to the staff who are all very friendly and helpful. This more than compensates for the fact that the Pinklao location is not the most taxi-friendly place to get back to. Almost all taxi drivers have insisted on not using the meter, e.g. from Pratunam and demanded fixed fares like THB300, which we has to pay, especially on rainy days when many taxis do not want to hear about Pinklao. The fact that Charlie House is secluded and had a garden, etc contributes greatly to our stays because we wanted to have the peace and quiet which can rarely be found at most other hotels. By now, we have got used to to the idea of being ferried back and forth in the golf cart. The proximity of Tesco Lotus Pinklao with a huge hypermarket and a good /clean/cheap foodcourt , the number of foodstreet stalls and the proximity of Central Plaza Pinklao with many, many restaurants are all advantages which we took full advantage of, during our most recent 10-day stay.

This was my 6th visit to Admire Thonburi. It is getting better each time I visit. The staff know me and greet me like a family member. The staff will do their utmost to make you at ease and meet your needs. The manager and most staff could speak very little English when I first started going there, they have worked extremely hard and within a short period of time the manager and many of the reception staff have exceptionally good English language skills. They love to practise and appreciate guests engaging in conversation. They are also receptive to any suggestions for improvement and ready to implement any good ideas. The manager has commenced works for a BBQ and social area to be developed and should be ready mid February 2016 her aim is to improve the experience for guests. When going to this area I won't stay anywhere else. I am looking forward to going back to see what has been done. Thanks Admire Thonburi for looking after me so well.

stayed in that particular area as i had to get to thonburi trainstation early in the morning. locationa little obscure, make sure you have the hotel phone number and the taxi driver can call and find it easily. there are good markets and heaps of food stalls within 5 minute walk, also a bts station not far. good location really and as said, very large room, friendly staff, large comfortable bed. would stay there again no problems. was good to see a part of bangkok i probably wouldnt normally stay. i think the area would be worth exploring more.

We stayed here as a vacation from Bangkok (live in Bangkok). We wanted a place to explore Thonburi from and this was perfect! It was out of the way of the main touristy areas though if you are trying to visit Bangkok on a budget but want a relaxing, clean and friendly place to stay out of the main areas this is perfect. You'll need to take a cab to get to the main touristy areas but the area around the resort is local and has a great local feel to it. The breakfast was okay (American breakfast) though chicken and rice looked good. This was a pleasant surprise I'd recommend!

I was staying in the Deluxe room for a week . The room is big with a sofa . But there is no additional chair . The room is clean . WiFi unstable . Shower pressure not too good and the water is not hot enough . It was very hot when I was staying in the superior room 3205 before . Air conditioning is cool enough . Because of my concern is the cleanliness. That is the reason why I did not ask to change room .Overall the rate I paid with breakfast is acceptable. The location is good . About 15 minutes walk to Bang Wa BTS . in about 30 to 45 minutes you can reach any location in the city . Unless you just want to walk the area where you live otherwise you still to take BTS . I been to Nana Patpong and Soi Cowboy already . I am not quite interesting stay late in the bar . And not cheap to hire a girl overnight. So if I want to go to the bar or massage. I can still take BTS back to Bang Wa at around 11 pm . The housekeeping is excellent . Only oneday I found a cockroaches on my bed when I return to the room at night. After I told the housekeeping She done a good job . There is 2 staff very nice polite with a smile every time see me . But the others very rude . And way If I still stay here until ,5 January. I might book another 2 weeks . Might not . Let's see

The location is a little bit far from busy area, quiet. Good for people who has car. The room is big. The facilities are new and enough for human’s daily life. This is my third time here and it will be fourth soon.

We had a late check-in and early check-out, so weren't there for long. The guard on duty that checked us in was very helpful (despite not speaking English too well)- and he organised for a Taxi to pick us up to get to Thonburi train station by 7.15 am the next day, so we could go to Kanchanaburi. The place is extremely clean and in a quit location in Bangkok.

We used the hotel for an overnight stay prior to catching the train from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi as the hotel is less than a kilometer from the Thonburi Railway station. The rooms are new and clean with full kitchen, microwave as well as the normal appliances. The service was brilliant, Nancy went out of her way to help us around, we arrived late (the reception closes at 8pm) but she was there within 5 minutes of us arriving to do the check-in, breakfast was great and she drove us to the train station and ensured that we got the correct tickets at the station. Thank you Nancy and the rest of the family at Baan Suan Prannok Residence.

It's a good option for my business trip. Nice hotel on the left side of Chaophraya river (Thonburi). Hotel is well facilitated. However there is a construction on the street at the moment.. Traffic might be bad at daytime.

The hotel location is a little bit at the back street but it's safe and just 3 minutes walking to the old Pata shopping mall. its clean and new, very privacy. You need to use your key tag to enter into the lobby and your room. There is a security guard at the entrance of the hotel. My best experience is the hospitality from the owner of the hotel itself. They are so kind to help you in whatever you need and speak good English. They really make my stay feel at both home and working stay. Keep it up Mr. PJ and Nud

I can’t say enough good about Asia Place. The owner and the staff were absolutely amazing. One of our friends was hit by a truck while in Thailand. And spent his whole vacation in the hospital. The owner and staff offered to help us in anyway possible. Wasn’t even their problem and still went above and beyond. They made us and his family feel so at home and welcome. My ONLY con is how far the hotel is from main road. But they do have a complimentary cart that takes you to main road daily from 8am -8pm. From there you can catch taxi,motor bike or walk to BTS to get around. And after hours if you need a snack from 7/11 you can take one of the hotels motor bikes. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Bangkok. I recommend Asia Place to anyone looking for a clean hotel with a great atmosphere. You will not be disappointed

The room is spacious and the service is good. Because we are traveling freely with the elderly, we choose a relatively quiet hotel. A. The location of the hotel is not so remote. It is very close to the chao phraya river and the king zheng temple, one of the three grand palaces. But it is really not within the scope of the one-day tour shuttle Bangkok. B. the owner of the hotel (who looks like) wears a baseball cap and occasionally MOWS flowers and plants in the courtyard, which is slightly darker and whiter than Thai skin. It was very friendly and felt like the best hotel to treat Chinese people on several trips to Bangkok. In the hotel, the chinese-speaking front desk boy and the working aunt are also very friendly, a little shy, but very friendly. It's a good place to go for an in-depth tour of Thailand. C. the room is very clean. It's surprisingly clean. All the Thai hotels I have stayed in before make me feel dirty. This hotel is very clean, with large rooms, air-conditioning, TV, WIFI and refrigerator. The cost of 7 days in China is absolutely higher than that of the whole season hotel. D. surrounding the hotel. The surrounding area is dominated by local Thai people. Most of them do not speak Chinese or English very well, but the overwhelming enthusiasm you can feel is that they can understand simple English. Walking on the road, thais will greet you kindly and nod their heads. There are Thai food markets nearby, 711, massage shops, small western restaurants and many night markets with big food stalls. Generally speaking, they are very convenient. Generally speaking, it is suitable for rest and relaxation.

This hotel is set kind of outside the city, but that’s not a problem if you want to do things besides sightsee around Bangkok. It’s located within 10 minutes walking to a bus station and also about 5-10 minutes by car to the Thonburi train station where you can ride on the Death Railway. What I didn’t like about this hotel is that there is only one person on the staff that speaks English,. Of course she doesn’t work 24/7/365, so the hotel can hardly claim to offer English service. The bathroom was also dirty and in need of some remodeling. However, the room was nice otherwise and comfortable. It was pretty quiet, which I liked. The location was the best for me.

I been staying in different places during the years, and now I was looking for something new. I went through previous reviews, theh picked King Royal. It was easy to found it, really only 5 minutes walk from the BTS Krung Thonburi station. The single room I booked wasn't available so they upgraded me. The place is more like a serviced condotel, the rooms were cleaned every day, free coffee, tea and drinking water in the room! Don't expect anything fancy, but everything were clean and tight. for less than 20 USD, definately a bargain!

Honestly, if you don't mind that no any nightlife around this area, you are strongly recommended to have a stay here. We feel that the owner were very focused on quality of life, from the hotel decoration to small things such as spoons, we are very stunning about the quality, my husband and I love it so much! The owner Mr. & Mrs. Tor were excellent, they were very polite and gentle to the guests, they provide the service better than the four-star / five-star hotel. One thing that must be share is, the daily cooked breakfast did by Mrs. Tor was too rich too good, from the taste of the food to the plate deco are impeccable. I would like to say thank you to Mr.&Mrs.Tor for the generous hospitality! ***IMPORTANT REMINDER*** 1.To avoid you take the long way to go, please get off the the train at BTS WONGWIAN YAI, go out from exit no.4.Use the elevator to go down , get out of the elevator and turn left to the first alley, you will see a 7-11 in your right hand after take a few steps. Please walk along the 7-11 alley, you will see the hotel in your left hand side by a very short walk.Please pay attention to safety, alleyways and motorcycles are endless flow. 2.Tooth paste and tooth brush only available upon request.
