Very long beach that is clean by south-asian standards. Clean water and sand. The bungalow is simple but the location is marvelous. Lovely hammocks to lounge in. For culture and nature, you need to be exploratory because there is NO tourist infrastructure there, but if you are adventurous you can find plenty of lovely things, like a lovely sand dunes hike and delicious local food and amazing vistas, interesting (although dirty) fishing villages, and rural culture. For Food, Try Tina cafe and the 'Banh Xeo' place behind Timothes. Phu Yen food is some of the best in Vietnam!!!

Filled with hospitality ”
First of all, I have to say "Thank you so much" to all of staff and the neighbors. I left my passport in my room. You know I recognized it at the night right before my departure time of a train for SAIGON. The station is 50km away from Timothe. Two days later, fortunately I could receive my passport in SAIGON by a postal service. It was an impressive happy experience. While, near by Timothe, I found a tiny shop run by a woman making and selling fried fish paste called Cha Ca in Vietnamese. It was simple but delicious as my snack. In addition, after check-out I was biking toward Qui Nhon city and found my bicycle's saddle cover on the road. It means I dropped it without recognition on the way to Timothe in the previous evening. So the fisherman village surrounding is so safe. Anywas i wanna return there as early as possible.

Beautiful location away from everything”
Timothe's was a wonderful stay. We wanted to stay a little bit longer but we couldn't. The beach is gorgeous. There is quite a bit of garbage on the beach but right in front of Timothe's they clean it up. There aren't a lot of options for food. Timothe's has some food and the backpackers next door does as well. The rooms are really quaint and perfect for seeing the beach. Great AC and fans. The people who own it and work there are so helpful and lovely. Timothe is adorable (he's 4). We loved swimming in the ocean, playing cards, sitting in the hammocks and relaxing. It's not so easy to get here or leave (maybe try to figure out how you will leave before you get there) but once you're there, you are in paradise.

+ Fantastic beach, no people! Beach area clean in the general area of the hotel + View of beach from bed possible! + Food served where you want, take your plastic table to Beach or Garden and the meal arrives! + big comfy bed (some beds in Vietnam are as hard as a door). + weather is much better than the weather forecast! Weather app says rain, here it is warm/dry/cloudy. The people here call it a micro climate and it’s true. A few people cancel because of “bad weather” and we had the place to ourselves with perfect weather! Ask Mathias about weather. He is honest. + not very touristy, underdeveloped, rustic charm + friendly honest helpful Host (German/English /Vietnam speaking) + beach bar next door with cocktails, music, fun atmosphere, excellent western food. Have your tastebuds tantalized! - the beach area where the fishing village is, is not cleaned and disheartening. A real shame that the locals ignore it. - locals 600m away sing karaoke badly and loud sometimes.

Lovely stay”
Que Toi village is a fantastic place to chill. The bungalows are relatively simple but great, the view is stunning and the feel of grass beneath your feet is amazing. The manager Tuan was very helpful and really looked after us. We appreciated her help and friendliness very much. The pool is very nice, the only down-side is I would not swim off the beach - which was quite clean. Overall I will be back!

Wonderful place ”
We are upgraded to the bigger available room and checked out late an hour for free. It's right on the beautiful beach, a wonderful place for your relax, very quite and peaceful, not many people. Everything was very clean.The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The only thing is food, you have to reserve at hotel or find local restaurant quite far. Aw, We loved to stay here so much and will come back soon.

DISAPPOINTED!!!”
The Beach is beautiful with white sand but there are a bunch of jelly fish (the type which causes itchy) in the water. There are also sand fleas on the beach and after 2 days, we got a lot of bites and could not stop scratching our legs. (We was told later that no sunscreen or lotion should be applied to avoid the flea) The Food is good or very good and reasonable, but watch the invoice closely or you may be charged higher than what it is stated in the menu. The first impression and the last minute: When I just got out of the taxi at Timothe and asked the driver how much to pay, the host lady heard the price and said loudly, repeatedly to me that it was too cheap and I SHOULD give tips to the driver. We booked 3 days but decided to leave after 2 days, after being eaten by the flea, we are charged for 3 full days (there is no penalty for cancellation while booking). After long negotiation, it is cut down to 2 1/2 days. Other than the above, everything is great.

Pleasant stay”
We were lucky when the other guests has cancelled to get the big room just in front of the beach. Nice view in the morning when you wake up and open your eyes. Having dinner at their place you can enjoy the peaceful and pleasant space where it was so quiet, just you and the sound of the insects and the waves coming in and out. That's perfect for a getaway. Their food was just fine, expensive but fresh.

The lack of Vietnamese language was a big hindrance as the staff only spoke Vietnamese and their “Manager” was only available via phone. Food was simple but most of it wasn’t available when ordering. Location is great, right at the beach. Room is basic and doesn’t get cleaned daily. Luckily there was “Lucky spot Resort” just a few meters up the beach and they helped us with organizing scooters , taxis and supplied the yummy food we were all craving. To be honest, I’d book my stay at “Lucky spot “ next time as I can’t rate them highly enough .. but this is about Timothe.. we decided to leave a day early. Unless it is improving I cannot recommend it.

The Timothe is located in the corner of a small fishing village, this location is so perfect for someone wants to urban retreat. The entrance is quite hard to access. There aren't not much options for the meals around. The owner so kind, the facilities was good, but need to improve

Un petit paradis”
C’est ici le paradis.... une plage sans touristes.... 3 resorts sur la plage, uniquement les locaux qui viennent le soir sur la plage, les pêcheurs dans la mer....0 speed boat ou autres touristes russes.... le calme! Sauf peut être.... un karaoké qui se trouve à proximité, sur la,plage mais qui n’est pas ouvert le soir. Les chambres sont sommaires mais suffisantes. Le couchage est bon et la climatisation parfaite. Choisissez la chambre avec vue sur mer.Pour la restauration, n’hésitez pas à aller à côté a l’océan beach hôtel, il y a un large choix de nourriture à prix honorable ( le thimotee beach hôtel ne propose que du plat de dépannage) et du petit déjeuner avec choix restreint... Les charmants propriétaires sont de supers conseils, ils se chargent de tout pour vous, appellent taxi ou ligne de bus pour vous récupérer à seulement 5kms du lodge Top top je conseille.

Sehr schöne Lage, aber ...”
... der erste Eindruck enttäuschte uns sehr und die weiteren umso mehr! Die Anlage scheint chaotisch, direkt am Eingang Küche und „office“, Stühle und Tische typisch vietnamesischer Plastik-Style, lieblos gestaltete Anlage, Bungalows von innen komplett weiß und nicht abdunkelbar (nichts für Langschläfer). Zimmer an der Küche gehabt: Fenster zum Eingang Hof: Flutlicht leuchtet die ganze Nacht, so dass mit Matratze abgedunkelt wurde. Handtuchhalter fällt von der Wand, wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten, Sand voller Nadeln vom Nadelbaum, keine gemütliche Sitzgelegenheiten am Strand, Essen überteuert! Wäscheservice schlecht, weißes Hemd hatte nachher schwarze und gelbe Flecken! Das einzige Positive: Ocean Beach direkt nebenan mit toller Bar, tollen Besitzern, tolle Zimmer und Strandlage + gutes Essen (komisch: kostet die Hälfte)! Anbindung nur mit Taxi: kein Fahrradverleih, Roller problematisch!

Perfekt für reine Entspannung am Meer”
Das Paar, dass das Hotel leitet ist sehr nett und freundlich und Kommunikation war problemlos möglich. Wenn das Paar nicht anwesend ist, ist es aber problematisch mit dem übrigen Personal zu kommunizieren. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, hell und hatte ein gemütliches Bett. Leider geht die Wand vom Badezimmer nicht ganz bis zur Decke wodurch badgeräusche und Gerüche sich überall verteilen. Außerdem war die Einrichtung sehr minimalistisch mit wenig Liebe zum detail zum Beispiel gab es keine Bilder an den Wänden oder irgendwelche deko. Die Lage ist schwer zu beurteilen. Es ist super außerhalb gelegen wodurch man fast alleine am Strand ist. Will man aber mal etwas mehr sehen oder erleben wird es schwer. Der nächste größere Ort ist etwa eine halbe Stunde mit dem Motorrad entfernt und die Straßenverhältnisse nicht die besten. Bei gutem Wetter empfehlenswert

familiäres Paradies abseits der Touri-Gegenden”
Die Unterkunft befindet sich außerhalb eines ursprünglichen und Tourismus-unberührten Dorfes direkt am Meer. Der Strand ist super schön und einsam. Das Besitzer-Paar ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Gegessen wird morgens und abends gemeinsam mit allen Gästen - man kann aber auch auf seiner eigenen Terasse essen. Es wird immer ein Gericht für alle zubereitet - und das zu fairen Preisen. Die Zimmer sind sehr neu, sauber und die Betten sind super! Mit dem Roller ist man innerhalb von 20 Minuten in Song Cau, mit dem Bus sind es nach Qui Nhon ca. 1 Stunde. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiter und kommen bestimmt noch mal her! :) ... Das einzige, was uns negativ in Erinnerung bleibt, sind die Sandfliegen. Aber da ist ja auch jeder unterschiedlich empfindlich.
