    Excellent value hotel in a great location”

    Location, value and staff

    Had an excellent 2 night break at the Topaz. Extremely good value for money, and even though we only booked a budget double room, it was adequately sized for our needs. Had breakfast on the first morning and it was lovely, freshly cooked and just what we needed. Didn't have it the second morning only because of the 'night out before' ha. The owners were very nice and helpful. The location of the Topaz is great. A few mins to the beach front, and close to some good pubs (loved the Goat & Tricycle). Will definitely stay again if we visit the area although given AFC Bournemouth are probably going up, am not sure when that would be again (good luck to them by the way). The parking is an added bonus and whilst its a tight squeeze between the 2 properties, this is noted on the website and it was easy enough to get through. Happily recommend this hotel, very clean, great location and excellent value.

    When we arrived we were told our room was small and we could have our money back if we didn't like it, when we took a look it was fine for a short stay. It was nicely decorated and very clean. Bed was comfy and shower was nice and hot. Staff were great and so was breakfast. The only negative was we had quite noisy people in next door room but that is not the hotels fault. It was also a bonus that there was free onsite parking. Location was perfect, 5 minute walk from the B.I.C We would use the Topaz again.
