Room is clean, good environment. U can see a lot of stars in the sky at night. Close to Doi Inthanon about 40minutes drive. Breakfast was okay not much choices. All the dishes are salty that served during dinner (self pay).

This resort was good, although a little isolated from restaurants and amenities. We dined in the resort the first night but we were disappointed with the food and service on offer. We gave it a miss the second night. Transport from the resort was really good, we went on a day tour and the price was very reasonable, the following day the same driver took us to Chang Mai where we continued our short holiday.

Very Good Access to Doi Intanon”
Located just 1 minute (by car) from Doi Intanon National park. And close to Chomthong district. So, you can stay in Northern-Thai style hut with starry night and get up at 5AM to go top top of Doi Intanon, the highest mountain of Thailand, to watch rising sun. After Doi Intanon, you can go to Wat Phratat Chomthong temple which is the old temple one in upper-north of Thailand. Room is nice but close to canal and forest, so hundreds of bugs will come to you after sunset. Facilities and amenities are so-so. Overall, decoration is nice and good location.

Resort not worth the price in January”
We came in as a group in July 2019 and were happy with the resort. We came back in January 2020 and it was an other story. Price was more than twice what it was in July, restaurant was expensive for what we ate. The room was cold and the water heater was not sufficient for January so we had no hot water. Breakfast was fine.

Close to Doi Inthanon Park Entrance”
The Touch star exceeded our expectations. The staff was very friendly, providing maps and directions to the major falls in the area, and the place was clean and well maintained. The air conditioner worked well as did the cold and hot water. One criticism would be the breakfast. I wasn't impressed with the quality of the eggs or the mayonnaise they drenched the salad with. The mosquitoes were especially bad at the restaurant but that was to be expected up in the mountains. Otherwise, it was a fantastic stay and I'd recommend staying here while visiting Doi Inthanon.

We stayed here for one night in october 2015 in Chom Thong as we were driving the mae hong son loop. Pros: clean room, nicely decorated grounds and quiet. Cons: very average service, very average food, minimal English and we had to ask for a hairdryer as the room did not have one. The food is not that great and it is pricey. You are better off eating in the village. We ate at little restaurants along the way and never had any stomach problems. While in the area do check out mae ya waterfall and mae Klang waterfall as they are nice and included in the doi inthanon park admission fee.

Great base to explore Doi Inthanon”
We stayed here to go birdwatching in Inthanon National Park. The resort is about a minute's drive from the entrance to the park and one of the closest places to stay. We stayed in an apartment which had a shared balcony, the room was spacious and clean with a fridge and ice box, the bed comfortable. The resort restaurant served good Thai food. A very peaceful place, away from roads, surrounded by paddy fields and other small properties, with quite a few open-country birds flying through. Inthanon proved to be absolutely teeming with visitors for the 4 day New Year holiday, to the extent that we gave up trying to reach the summit after several days - even at 6 am there was a 2 km queue of cars at the top. Strongly advise to avoid Dec 29-Jan 1 if at all possible.

Nice resort, great location, great service”
The resort situated right at the bottom of Doi Intanon so it is very convenience if you plan to visit the Doi. It looks like a family own resort so the service feels warm and cozy. The room is nice but has couple of mosquito which is understandable since it has many trees in surrounding. The room has almost everything we need except hair dryer (not sure if you can borrow one but we didn't ask). The breakfast was nice and since we brought car, there were many parking spaces as well. Overall, we love the place.

Great location-Close to Doi Inthanon Nat. Park”
Our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. The rooms were exactly what we expected and the resort was very close to Doi Inthanon national park (1 km from entrance). There was a large group also staying at the resort which hindered the staffs ability to serve us and we were turned away for dinner because of this. Overall, a good budget resort for Thailand travelers...No frills, but clean and nice with lovely surroundings.

I truly love this place and enjoyed the bird watching conservation area nearby, the food options nearby and it is so convenient to get a driver to enjoy all activities in the national park. For those who are active, this is a perfect place to access trails, explore the national park and the little eatery places in the town or nearby the resort. Highly recommended for those who want a nice vacation close to the nature.

was most disappointed with the swiss cottage accomodation offered. was more like touch star campsite than touch star resort! the sort of thing offered to backpackers for a few hundred baht.. was offered an alternative room (deluxe i think) which was marginaly better, only problem was the mattress! like sleeping on the floor. the one resturant/bar closes at eight pm, there is absolutely nothing going on here, or near here after that. i met the owner at breakfast(pretty average) who was very kind and gracious and after hearing about my dis-satisfaction offered me a further nights stay gratis! 10 out of 10 for customer service but in my view this resort offers poor value for money and i would most certainly stay not there again...

resort with nice garden near the doi inthanon park”
we booked the touch star resort as it was shown as the only one in the doi inthanon national park. By car the hotel is easy to find. No difficulties with the check-in process. we slept in a so called swiss cottage which was very basic furnished. The cleanliness of the bathroom and shower could be improved (e.g. decalcify the shower brush). the garden surrounding the buldings is beautiful set up with little rivers and bridges. For breakfast you can chose between thai and an american menue. luckily, we stayed only for one night as we did not sleep well in the cottage and we felt the price/performance of tis hotel as unsatisfied. we wouldn't book it again.

nice place, quiet, sense of living in the jungle. good size room with bathroom. can buy meals here to, and not expensive. can rent hotel car for take you to the mount-en for 1500bath. drive you all day. no airport pick up and no massage available. 1 hour from ciang mai. paid 1100 bath for taxi out.
