Lovely haven in the centre of Nakon”

I stayed at Tree Home Plus with my partner for one night to visit Nakon and this place was a perfect base for that. The owner is incredibly nice and helpful and rented us his motorbike for a day which made the whole experience much more pleasant and practical. The room was ultra clean and newly decorated. The powerful hot shower was like a dream. The garden , with lots of water features, is very charming and cosy, but beware mosquitoes. Incredible value for money. We would definitely stay there again.

Tree Home Plus Home Stay is on a quiet little soi just off a main road. There is a very nice restaurant just across the street, and a few good restaurants more just around the corner. The place itself is like a little garden, with fish pools bracketing the entrance to the rooms. My room was large, clean, comfy aand had its own little garden accessible with a separate key. Next time I visit Nakhon Sri Thammarat I will definitely stay there again. Let me say again that the owners were incredibly gracious hosts. :-)

Clean, cozy and the sweetest hosts ever!! ”

I only stopped one night over in Nakhon Si Thammarat city to catch the local Makha Bucha holiday celebrations in transit between kiriwong village and khanom. However the warmth and hospitality experienced there was one of the memorable elements of my trip, even with limited English how helpful and concerned my hosts were for ensuring that I got the most out of my trip! The room was not only super clean, light airy and spacious but also tastefully decorated, as were the public areas of the property, really adding to the warm and much welcomed homey touch! Location wise it’s close enough to what seemed to me as the Main Street Ratchadamnoen, to walk (if you like walking) in a pleasant neighbourhood setting, yet removed enough from the hustle bustle and noise of the Main Street, for a peaceful and relaxing stay. 100% recommended value for money, cozy and comfortable and as if that wasn’t enough, super pleasant and hospitable neighbours who invited me along with them for dim sum breakfast too!! Highly recommended for a night or two over in the city! 👌👌👌

Owner & staff are friendly,helpful & with good hospitality. The place have a homey feels and our room is huge and eveything works except the cable box , but was replaced with a working one by their staff later. Our room has a sliding door exit to a garden where you can smoke or chill. This place is pet friendly and we have our little darling shih-tzu with us . We also can pared our car inside the compound which is very small and can only accomodate 3 cars max i think. Lastly it even come with a simple breakfast. Highly recommended

Apart from the fact that the owner was not there when we checked-in (he showed-up approx. 15mns after we arrived and a couple of phone calls from my side), everything at Tree Home Plus Homestay was very good. My wife and I spent two nights in a very spacious, clean and comfortable room with excellent bedding. The en-suite bathroom was very good with excellent water pressure. The small terrace outside was quite nice too. WiFi was good. Breakfast in the morning was simple but appreciated (selection of hot beverages, toasts, butter, jam, fruits). All in all, we were very happy with our choice of accommodation in Nakhon Si Thammarat.

We stayed for eight nights and wish we were still there. The room was spacious, well maintained, well equipped and delightful, as is the rest of the property. The grounds are lovely. Breakfast though simple, (rice porridge, toast etc & fruit) was wonderful. Hosts are friendly and very kindly took us to the bus terminal when we departed.

Great location”

Pros: Great location nearby city center e.g. shopping, food stalls, fav temples, etc. Several rooms under the house. Big room equipped shower room are cleaned enough. Shared kitchen room, shared living room next door in the house. House along with trees, calmness and peaceful for the rest. Cons: Less light switch-on around the house & front door & gate during evening (7:00pm). Neighborhood around is darkness. Seem doesn’t safety. Opened gate no guards, strangers or non-guests can access all rooms. Car park in the house is very less (max 3 slots), more cars have to park in front of the house with no light switch-on. Kitchen room, first open the door there is strong bad smell e.g. waste food. Glasses & cups were not cleaned with smell said. Bedsheet & pillow covers, duvet smell other people head. Insects, Mosquitos are alway visit you whenever you open the door room. Don’t expect shampoo even there is shampoo bottle in shower room, empty shampoo bottle!

Very Nice and extremely hospitable owners”

We were travelling with our two daugthers of 5y and 7m and desided to stay in Nakhon si Thammarat mostly to cut our travel time from the Gulf Islands to the Andaman Islands in half. But we were very pleasently surprised by the City as well as this small almost homestay. The couple were so Nice to us and especially to the children! They really took care of us and made this almost a home away from home. The City it self was also great. Interesting and authentic compared to the Islands. We went to the temple and the shadow puppet museum which was very small but interesting. By luck we were there on a saturday and our hosts took us to the saturday market were the sold the most beautiful handicrafts. If you are in the area defenitely go to this City and stay with these lovely people!

Nakon is worth a visit, and Tree Home is where to stay”

On a trip south from the Koh Samui/Koh Phangan area to Malaysia, we stopped for two nights in Nakhon and were very glad we did. We spent a great day visiting the workshop of the late shadow puppet master Suchart Subsin, where his family is keeping the traditional art alive and will show you how they make shadow puppets. Very low-key place, with no sales pressure. Also visited Nakhon's famous Wat Maharat and the city's very interesting national museum of local artefacts and customs (lots of information in English). All of those were a 1- or 2-km walk from Tree Home or from each other, so it was easy to get around. If you get too hot walking, blue songthaews (small trucks with covered seating in the back) cruise up and down the main north-south streets. Just flag one down, climb in, and hop off where you want. The fare is always 10 baht per person. After dark, the songthaews stop running, but mototaxis (guys in official orange vests on motorcycles) will take one passenger each anywhere in town for 20 baht. As everyone has said, Tree Home is a beautiful and relaxing place with very nice rooms. The owner speaks English, but she works as a nurse and is only around in the evenings, so if you have a question in English, wait until then. She serves a nice breakfast, and there are a couple of restaurants and tea/coffee shops within a few blocks' walk, so you wont go hungry even if you don't have a car or motorbike.

One of the most fabulous place to stay ”

I accidental find this hotel from agoda. After I read the review, I decided to stay here immediately. The hotel wasn't difficult to find with 8 comfortable rooms to selected. I stay at room 3 which is very big and clean. The staff and her family were friendly. Like you stay at your home. You gonna have a special morning with local breakfast. Congee or Kaolao with rice which were yummy. The staff bought from the market nearby. Nice room, Nice staff ,Nice stay with a very fast wifi. The only disadvantage of this place was only car park. I have to park my car in front of the home but it wasn't much trobles.

Excellent quality”

Tree Home exceeded our expectations for a homestay, the rooms were tastefully decorated & accommodation of a very high quality. The owner was very helpful & gave us lifts to a local restaurant & to the airport on our last day & didn't want to be paid for it. It is close to several restaurants of varying price ranges, a large Thai one on the corner

Perfect guesthouse”

The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, and the room is comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the sitting area outside, and the breakfast congee (jok) was delicious. The location looks a bit out of the way on the map, but there are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby and the neighbourhood sois are pleasant and quiet for walking. Highly recommended for your visit to Nakhon.

A great place to stay in Nakhon Si”

The place feels very homely. The room is spacious. The internet is very fast. The place look clean and new. It is also very quiet. The breakfast is very delicious. The only downside is that the water from the shower is a bit weak. If I come back to this area, I will definitely stay here again

A very fine home”

I stayed here recently and was very impressed with the quality of the design and materials used in the construction of this residence. The garden, yard, and outdoor sitting areas are quite nice also. The owner, Khun Nat,his wife, and the housekeeper are very friendly and helpful to their guests. The rooms are comfortable , meticulously clean, and a good value for the price. There are restaurants within walking distance and laundry service just across the street. It would be nice if there was Thai food available for breakfast. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely return here again.

Great hotel in a not so great location”

The hotel is superb! Clean big rooms, excellent service and the best shower we had in a long time! The location however (of course, not the fault of the hotel) is not so great. The city just has nothing to offer. Very little choice in restaurants and for the rest nothing to do. Of course it didn't help that we had no car, if you do you can of course explore more outside of the city.
