Beach Break”
It was great to stay at a resort after being in Saigon and in the Mekong at a homestay. The resort is lovely and in a great location. It is not in or near the old town, but there is a shuttle bus about four times a day. If you don't get the shuttle, the taxi fare should be about 100 000VND. From check-in, the staff were absolutely amazing. At no other resort in Vietnam, did we have so many people checking on us, really wanting to ensure that we were looked after. We got an upgrade to an ocean view room and it was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant staff are very friendly and accommodating, even when I asked for a special meal. The buffet breakfast has something for everyone. If you don't want to eat at the restaurant, there are quite a few outside the resort. We really liked Co Hong and even arranged a car to Da Nang from them. They are about 100m to the right of the resort as you come out of the driveway. Highly recommend Tropical beach Resort Hoi An.

Great beach hotel in Hoi An area”
If you want to enjoy Hoi An but not live in it and have a comfortable place to relax on the beach this is a good choice. It is not walking distance to anything other than the beach but you have easy transportation choices: hotel shuttle, taxi/grab or hotel bicycle. There are two large swimming pools big enough to swim laps. They have tennis but it’s too hot now. The Gym is very small and not air conditioned so kinda worthless. The restaurant is very good and the happy hour at sunset is wonderful. The beach out front has nice sand and the gradient is gradual enough to safely frolic in the water. The beach is far from tourist centers so it is pretty quite. The hotel grounds are spaceous and nicely decorated with landscaping and lanterns. They are set up for group tours but they use a separate restaurant. We had a couple incidents with power out and no water but I don’t know if that is common. We walked into other resorts around here before selecting this one

Dear Tropical Beach, First, I must explain how much my family and I enjoyed our stay at your hotel. It was simply lovely- I plan on writing an excellent review. I have already recommended your resort to many of my friends, who live in the area and look forward to visiting your resort. However, I am truly heartbroken as I realized I left a clean bag of my favorite clothes at the laundry across the street. I went to pick up my clothes around 11:00am, when they said they would be ready. However, the clothes were not ready. They told me to return at 1:00pm when they would be open. Unfortunately, I was so busy packing my suitcases, preparing my children for the flight, feeding them lunch, arranging airport transfer, paying the final bill... that I totally failed to pick up the clothes at the laundry. Some of the clothes include my favorite sweater and scarf, ones my grandfather gave me the day before he died. I have a close friend in Ho Chi Min, if you could please contact me ASAP.

Great resort, great location ”
We booked five nights at Tropical Beach Resort Hoi An and ended up booking an extra three nights. Hoi An is a fantastic little town and wasn’t overly busy this time of year. The resort has all the bells and whistles and staff are friendly, speak English and were very helpful. The two pools and the beach provided a welcome cool down after a day of walking around town. Would certainly recommend and return.

Lovely hotel in a great location ”
My family stayed for 14 nights at this hotel which had been recommended to me by a friend. It is in a great location - hotel offers a free shuttle bus into Hoi An Old Town. The hotel had great facilities and is located on the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had free transfers to and from the airport, a free massage and a free evening meal. Room was a bit basic but meet our needs. Managerial staff frequently enquire if we were experiencing any difficulties and we eager to put things right quickly.

Fantastic location!”
The main reason i chose the resort was for its location and its landscape. The resort is right on the beach! The architecture and landscaping of the property overall is great. Roaming around the resort is wonderful. We enjoyed the pools, the beach side sit outs, the beach facing restaurant and little bar. The rooms are just average though, but we were upgraded from our garden view to ocean view. The view of the ocean made up for the still average room. Food is also average in a way. Staff is friendly. We preferred to eat out in Hoi An and stay here. Loved the property overall!

Great hotel complex”
Lovely room, kept spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good, plenty of choices and we ate in the restaurant several times, food was superb. Beach was closed due to bad weather while we were there for nearly a week, but looks good. There are two sizeable pools plus tennis courts, football facilities and a gym. There is a free shuttle bus in and out of Hoi An town. Would recommend this hotel for couples and families.

Lovely resort by the beach”
The resort was very nice, although a little dated (especially bathrooms). Huge rooms, huge bed (2x120 cm beds put together), would fit easily 3 people. Air con in my room wasn't very efficient, was probably a bit old. The food was ok, with not that much choice available. Lovely, quiet beach, perfect for kids. Swimming pool also very nice. Looks like they cater more for chinese tourists, which are very noisy. Shuttle service to and from Hoi An very reliable and nice to have. All in all, lovely stay in a great location, would come back again. Good value for money, if you are traveling on a budget.

Fabulous hotel right on the beach. Very clean and well maintained. Staff were great. Very welcoming and happy to assist. Breakfast was good with a great variety of choice. We had a lovely relaxing time here. The shuttle into Hoi An old town was really handy. Would recommend this hotel. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

Amazing resort in great surroundings with friendly staff ”
Had a long stay (10 days) at this wonderful resort. The staff made our stay perfect from the start till the end. Everybody works really hard for giving their customers the best experience. The waiters are attentive and gives good recommendations and are always smiling. The F&B Manager (Ms Van) arranged a wonderful romantic dinner at the beach, which we strongly recommend to other guests. Nothing can beat tasteful local food at the beach with the sound of waves breaking on shore, while you feel the sand under your feet. The price was very friendly as well. Positive things about this hotel: - Nice and clean private beach - 2 decent pools - Good breakfast and pool bar - Excellent service (reception, waiters, room service, life guards, transport) - Free shuttle to ancient town - Free tennis - Good spa We will definitely come back to this gem of a hotel!

Navistina go preporacuvam, za vistinski odmor, so besprekorna higiena, odlicna hrana, i pristapni ceni. Preubava plaza, cisti bazeni. Besplaten prevoz 4-5 pati do resort do Hoi An i nazat, besplatni tocaci, sala za vezbanje, teniski teresni. Ednostavno nemam nikakvi zabeleshki.

Pleasant stay in a beautiful location ”
This was our first time to Vietnam and we chose this resort because of the location and the reviews. The hotel arranged a airport transfer which was reasonable and hassle free. Check in was easy and they drove us to the room from the reception. The grounds are huge and spacious. Room was tidy and large. Everything we needed. No WiFi the first night 8n the room due to renovations but they had it fixed the next day. Breakfast was acceptable with all the usual western and asian offerings. Pools and poolside areas are fantastic and a great place to relax which is what we came for. Poolside bar not overpriced and staff were attentive and helpful with umbrellas for shade and towels throughout the day. Beach was great. Clean and wayer was great. Management staff were always about and asked guests for any requests or issues and sorted out things with follow ups. All staff were freindly and made us welcome. Overall a very good break. We will be back...

Beautiful resort right on the beach, with easy access to Hoi An”
We had a great time here and would certainly recommend the hotel. It is beautiful and very enjoyable with the beach, a very nice pool etc. Free shuttle bus to Hoi An and free bicycle rent were perfect for our trip. Staff was very nice and helpful, breakfast was very good too.

Good location and value ”
Good location, easy to get to Hoi An. Beach clean and quiet , some further along are busier and crowded beach bars. For a beach getaway it was perfect. Beds comfortable, good air-con, hotel breakfast was sufficient. Staff friendly. Good value for money and would stay again as love the quiet location.

Good points about the Tropical Beach Resort: good location right on the beach, lovely well maintained grounds, lots of staff around to help out, food was okay (not amazing, but fine), prices very reasonable Big negative for us - all our kids developed rashes from the pool and so we couldn't use the pool. Without the pool there's really not much to do there (in the summer - in the cooler months could go sight seeing). We moved on to another hotel down the road and they were absolutely fine in the pool, we live in Hong Kong and use the pool frequently and none of them have ever had an allergy to chlorine before. Also, lots of plastic waste here - 2 plastic straws in every drink and no refillable drinking water, or even large bottles of mineral water, just small plastic bottles of mineral water for sale.

the hotel has an excellent location, the beach and the pools are really nice. The only issue is that the walls are really thin, so you can hear neighbours and that beds are very hard. other than that we liked everything. gratis massage and shuttle to the airport if you stay at least 5 nights, are an extra threat. we would love to return.

Pleasant stay at a beautiful resort ”
We had an amazing time at this resort. The staff are amazing and so helpful and the pools, gardens and beach are all nice. Breakfast was good, food variety was good. The resort is away from Ancient Town but they have a shuttle bus to take you there. If you miss the shuttle, it’s only roughly around VND100,000 (AUS$3.50) so not so bad! We love how it’s away from the hustle and bustle of ancient town (and the sea breeze), but also not too far away from it. We will be back! Thanks for the lovely experience.

Fabulous location, hospitality and facilities”
Cannot fault anything about this resort. A quiet location situated on the beach. Our room was a beach access apartment. Loved the grounds, location away from hustle and bustle, yet regular shuttle bus service / grab made it softer convenient to get into old town. Loved having the pools right by the ocean so we could choose either. Lots of local street food available close by. Will def revisit again x

Big and old hotel with a large garden and a room”
I wanted a beach rest, but I couldn't go out to sea because the sand was shaved by the waves. This is an old hotel, with large rooms. It was a bit old, but ... The hotel is large and the garden is much larger than I thought. But the price was GOOD. However, the air fresheners in the rooms were too strong and the fan noise in the rooms and bathrooms was too high. And, Breakfast was good enough .... Nearby shops are expensive and can't be bought in a hotel. Purchase what you need in advance
