Cigarette smoke in the room”

The friendly receptionist likes to smoke in the lobby of the hotel, which causes many parts of the hotel to smell like cigarette smoke. I stayed on the forth floor and could smell his cigarette inside my room, which I did not like. The room can also be incredibly bright. In the morning, the light comes in through the windows and the blinds don't help much. But even worse: There is a window to the hall, which is not see-through, but light from the hall comes in through that window. Whenever someone walks along the hall, the room will be illuminated. I was happy to have an eye mask, but without it, I'd have had a hard time sleeping. Other than that, the room was good. Clean and not too noisy.
