Jewel on the river”
During this stay to visit with family in Thailand, we've stayed at Intercontinentals (great overall and consistent in every way) and the Shangri-la (dropped all around in my opinion). The Tubtim Resort was a pleasant surprise. All the elements of a 5 star hotel was there as far as details to amenities (toothbrushes, shower supplies, towels, water and cups, etc.), service and manicured grounds. There was an actual large refrigerator in each room that was actually cold! The rooms were very clean and big. Rain shower and bath tubs. The breakfast was one of the best we've ever had from a locally Thai owned property. Well stocked and very decent variety. Even had real Frosted Flakes branded cereal! The location was off the beaten path, but ideal as far as being on the river and isolated. We had a hired van with driver from Bangkok, so this place might not be for the backpacker traveller. Absolutely beautiful environment. A very thoughtful and quaint property. Would definitely stay again. As traveling with family, we booked two nights in three villas and a regular poolside room. All were very inexpensive. The pool side room was actually huge with a larger living room area than the villas. We booked the iconic river side villa with hangover net as well as a two bed/two bath villa right next to it. One of the best stays ever to accommodate my traveling family of 9! Highly, highly recommend Tubtim. The only alternative place we'd think of staying, is at the actual Erawan Falls camp grounds. Otherwise, Tubtim all the way for a Kanchanaburi stay.

Local accommodation, very impressive”
Used to the Intercontinentals, Shangri-la, Marriotts, but this little treasure was great! Great breakfast for a typical Thai resort/hotel. Absolutely clean villas with better than average ammenities (toiletries, towels, etc.). The poolside rooms are very sizeable too. All in all, I would stay there again without question.

Friendly and Amazing River Resort”
Had a short but very nice stay at Tubtim Siam River Kwai Resort. The first thing I would like to mention is how genuinely friendly and helpful the staff are at this resort. I find that it is rare to find staff who take pride in and genuinely enjoy their work and it makes all the difference as a client. The resort itself is gorgeous. For someone like me who appreciates well kept nature this resort is a great place to stay. The gardens around the resort are incredibly well kept and looked after even include plaques naming all of the various types of trees. The pool area is very spacious and well kept as are the rooms at the resort which are incredibly comfortable and clean. The resort is located on quiet bank of the river Kwai which is enjoyable both during the day and night time. Its worth noting however that at night when the stars are out and its cool and breezy there is nothing quite like it. Definitely recommend this resort and look forward to staying here again.

River view, relaxing atmosphere, nice food”
We stayed 3 nights with 4 month old baby. Hotel provide baby cot, no bathtub. River view is amazing, garden is beautiful as well. Breakfast has large variety of selections. Restaurant makes good food with affordable price. Swimming pool has Jacuzzi, no kids area. The resort is perfect for relaxing. If you wish to go sightseeing, hotel also works with tour operators to take you.

The best resort ever in my entire road trip to the whole Thailand”
This is the best resort ever during my entire road trip in Thailand. We stayed 2 nights in this resort and we really don't think of leaving this place. The extremely friendly staffs and the owner, they are like our family members. the river view, the swimming pool, the food that they provided, the room is huge and clean and very well maintain. I will miss this place so badly and I have promised to the owner I will sure be back here in the near future.

The room was big and clean but there was only one bathroom amenity. The swimming pool was warm and available until late at night. The river shore was under maintenance so the resort gave 30% discount on dinner instead. The staffs were very kind and helpful.

Great stay! ”
The family suite rooms was spotless and very large, with three baths. nice pool and awesome nets to lie down on above the river to watch the sunset. Some of the decoration is super kitch but somehow adorable and it works (Huge stuffed ducks to rest your head on, teddy bears in the rooms, bean bags with rabbit ears...) Great staff, the food was plentiful and absolutely awesome, all fresh ingredients and very very good coffee.

The Deal Is Unbelievable”
The place is slightly away from town. However, it really stunned me with the service and ambient. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. Besides, they have a small garden and play the light music. With the riverview, decoration and the service, I can not complain more. Too bad they are doing some construction works beside the river and I have no chance to sit on the netting and read. That's my only regret.

Nice hotel in Kanchanaburi”
I loved this hotel. Internet is pretty decent. Bed is comfortable. Paid for the breakfast but unfortunately didn't have the time to eat it. Staff is very good and offer to make us cooked food if we missed the breakfast but unfortunately we were in hurry so we also missed that chance. Nice pool. Very quiet and had a very good sleep. The scenery is very beautiful. We will come back here.
