Stay at Twin Tides Hotel”
The staff was so accommodating. They were very considerate with us, most especially because we have an infant travelling with us. From allowing us for early check-in, to helping us get transpo around Panglao-Baclayon and Panglao-airport, Twin Tides staff did an exemplary job. All of them have smile on their faces all the time. It was our second stay at Twin Tides, and we would definitely stay again when we go back to Bohol.

The location is great. Few minutes away from Alona Beach. There are a lot of Restaurants nearby. Hotel staff are friendly. However, the breakfast is not so good.

They were amazing”
My mom and I enjoyed our stay in Panglao and in this hotel for the following reasons: 1. The staff was undeniably friendly and excellent! I felt home with the kind of service we were treated. (We had problem with the shower pressure, we called the receptionist and after a few minutes, it’s back on) 2. The location of the hotel is near Alona Beach which is perfect! 3. My Mom loved their food. Though it was very limited (it’s a small hotel) I enjoyed the food too, I only ordered Big Brekky for the past four days we stayed in the hotel. 4. The only thing that I wasn’t completely satisfied was when I woke up at around 3 AM and tried to connect to the WIFI but our vouchers weren’t working anymore. I went to the receptionist and the guard gave me new sets of vouchers but it still didn’t work. I had to wait until 6:30 AM so they can reset and give us new vouchers. But overall, I’m completely satisfied. Will definitely stay again when I come back to Panglao.

Clean and updated”
We were on a vacation with families expecting that their pool is open however We were surprised that there's no pool due to renovation. We were being charged for extrahead which was immidiately advised to us . The receptionist was very helpful that the extrahead was given for free since we are quite disappointed that there's no pool . Overall. We were all happy.

This is a good place to stay if you wish to explore bohol because public transport is available right in front of the hotel. It as spacious beds and good air-conditioning. I really recommend this place for travellers with kids because there are lots of good restaurants within the vicinity.

Misleading Offer”
The pool was closed, no restaurant, no free drinking water, tea or coffee. The room was great. All the other inclusions as posted in the Agoda offer wasn't there.

It's good but...”
The location is great, near the airport, Jollibee, Mcdo, ATMs, local food stalls like ihaw-ihaw for 10 pesos, and about 5-10 min walk to Alona Beach. The bed is comfy, had a good sleep. The bathroom is okay, it's just that you could see some rust(?) on the shower heads tho. Staffs are very accommodating. The pool is out of service also. Price is okay but if you are traveling like a group of 3, book directly with them, they have a promo. You'll save a few bucks. We were charged P500 for extra pax per night as the room is for "max 2 persons" even if it could fit us 3. No extra bed were given also, just extra towels and toiletries.

Ordinary Hotel but good location”
The hotel is conveniently located near the tourist area, and about 10-15mins walk to Alona beach. The room is simple, but room amenities need improvement. Water heater at room 205 (where we stayed) is not working at shower area, but working at lavatory. Height of rain shower needs improvement as it is a bit low, good for my height only but might hit a 6' tall people. Lacks slippers, and tooth brush. Plated breakfast is good. Coffee is included but small serving. Overall is still good, once amenities has been improved.

Staff were very good and accommodating, although the building is new, the appliances were all second hand and decrepit. Shower, sink, air conditioner and cabinets all in a bad state.

Average stay”
Average stay at Twin Tides. Photos looked a lot nicer. The hotel was not the cleanest and the shower facilities were not the best.

Not Clean”
When we checked in, we haven’t used the room but there was a used soap in the sink. We didn't stay in the room as we have other things to do we just leave our things there. When we came back in the evening, me and my husband decided to just check out as we are not comfortable staying there. So we booked in another hotel. We were asked by the receptionist whats the reason of our early check out, they check the room to make sure we didn’t get anything (which we understand by the way as this is a hotel policy). We then informed them the reason of our early checked out.

Pricey for no valid reason. You'd feel shortchanged after your stay.”
For the price, this hotel aint worth it. The toilet was small (even by PH standards); water pressure was painfully inadequate that it takes longer to bathe. Complained about it to the staff, but was just told that their water pump broke. Funny thing was, the water presure in the sink was strong, as well as in the bidet. The room was good for three adults but they give you one thin soap and a small shampoo bottle. If you need more, you have to ask for it, everyday of your stay. As to having the room cleaned, well theyd fix up your beddings but forget to remove used glass and other things(we could chalk it up to inadvertence if they removed it the next day, but it was there the whole time we stayed). So attention to detail, and cleanliness is at the least one star. As to the breakfast, they use instant noodles on their supposed ramen (priced at P300 in their menu, but you get cheap instant noodles, not the pricey kind, an egg, and some fried pork). Hyped up, but not living up to it.

Money well spent”
Pros: - Along the road but just a few steps away from the beach and the go to place in Panglao - Very clean rooms -high quality sheets ( we had a very comfortable sleep) - They have a small pool/jacuzzi (new) - The hotel is new and has plans of expansion as per the Manager -hotel staff are very accomodating ( as in Super accomodating) -big television in the room -they did not charge us for asking extra pillows -Bfast is uber delicious - hotel design details are also nice Pros: -the room floor are a bit slippery ( i guess its from the soap they used when moppung the floor) -We had to remind them to replenish our soap and toothbrush ( it should be automatically there in the bathroom, i guess they forgot it) -Inhouse meal are a bit expensive (eg 200 to 250 for bfast) -hotwl shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste is of low quality. Like the toothpaste tastes awful. -If you like a beachfront hotel, this is not the ideal place for you. As a whole, our stay at Twin tides is a big OKAY! :)

Excellent”
Pros - excellent value for money considering this is just a 3 star hotel. Affordable yet quality bedroom. Room was really nice. Beds were super comfortable. Provided extra pillows at no extra cost. Room was equipped with fridge, safety box, hairdryer, closet which was big enough for our clothes and our suitcases. Customer service was exceptional. The 2 male staff manning the morning and afternoon shifts were the best! Twin Tides attended to all our needs during the stay. They were very patient and nice in answering our questions about Panglao and the sights/tours we can do. Hotel has its own tour packages you can avail. Aiport transport service was on time and Ariel the driver was really polite and kind, van used was in excellent brand new quality. Neutral - location. Hotel is near Alona Beach but it was kind of tiring going back and forth under the scorching heat of the sun. Especially if you needed to use the toilet (I don't know if there are public toilets in Alona beach). That would depend on your stamina I guess. It was probably a 5 to 10 minute walk. Hotel is situated across the street. Then you have to go thru the Beach's parking lot. The room also has an umbrella you can use. But the location was good if you want to be near some restaurants that were not by the shore. We were able to buy lechon manok and liempo just a few steps away from the hotel. Dunkin Donuts and other restos were close to the hotel. Con - free breakfast was just okay. 3 meals to choose from: Danggit meal - 3 pieces of small danggit, 2 eggs, small cup of fried rice and coffee. Tapa meal - same with danggit meal but with bits of tapa that looked more like tocino coz of its color. The other one was I think a tocino meal. Shower was a bit difficult to control but it was okay. Overall, I would still recommend the hotel to my friends.

Amazing value and customer service ”
We had an amazing stay at the Twin Tides. We originally only booked for 2 nights but ended up staying 4 when we realized how amazing it was. The breakfast provided each day was DELICIOUS and very filling. They had the best coffee we had during our entire stay in the Philippines - the Americano is my recommendation! Every time we entered or left the hotel, we were greeted with a smile and an employee running over to open the door for us before we could open it ourselves! An unnecessary gesture but very kind, regardless. The rooms were very clean and very modern compared to the other hotels we stayed at in the Philippines. Alona beach is about a 5-10 minute walk away. If you cut through the parking lot across the street it's a short 5 minutes. We didn't mind the walk but if you're wanting a beachfront property, this isn't the hotel for you. We asked the front desk staff for recommendations for dinner each night and they gave us great ones each time. When we were there (Aug 2016) the pool wasn't yet opened but it looked to be almost complete. A few things to note: you need to pay 1000 pesos in cash as a room deposit for your stay - I asked to put a hold on my credit card but they said it must be cash. You receive it back when you checkout - just make sure you keep your receipt. Beach towels are rented to you for 500 pesos/towel. When you return the towel, they return the pesos. We exchanged our towels each day. They have free wifi - they give you a code that lasts for 24 hours, at which point you need to go back to the front desk to get another code. I would definitely recommend this hotel and wish them continued success.
