Cyclists Paradise”
My first time staying at Vanilla Residence, but had heard a lot about it. Just loved it, if you are a cyclist you must stay there. The facilities are fantastic even with a mechanic on ground and all tools available for any technical issues with your bike. The rooms are simple, minimalist design, effective and just what you need really. Would not hesitate coming back here again when cycling in Chiang Mai.

Staff is helpful and rooms are quiet and clean. This is a Cycling theme hotel and they have great support for cyclists . The vanilla Cycling team have many great Cycling routes and trips to offer.

I spent 4 days staying in this hotel. The atmosphere and the friendly staffs made my day much better. Thumbs up for this hotel. The price is reasonable and i would say that it is value for money.

Nice Hotel with Great Value”
The hotel is quite new so most of the taxi drivers are not aware of it. however one phone call to the reception then there is no issue. It is about 5 min out of the main part of the city, which I think is great because it is a lot more quite and relaxing and noise is not a factor. The staff were excellent, they were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and neat. No complains from me, I will definitely come back to stay with them again!

It's a new hotel. The room is really clean. The devices are with great brand. Nice breakfast at the cafe next to it. Staff is nice and friendly. Quite helpful too. The location is a bit bad. Took my taxi driver long time to find. In general, a beautiful cozy hotel!

Should be BETTER than this!”
I called to reconfirm the bookings before my arrival, i felt the staff whom i talked with was not helpful. I'd got the answer that Agoda already submitted me a confirmation. Although, i would like her to send us a map or location of the hotel. i also got the answer that it already shown in website. it seemed SELF SERVICE. My arrival, one gentleman staff offered help us to carry the luggage. He helped us till the lift where located half floor of the stair. It was inconvenience. The room was comfy but not sound proof. The floor and bathroom was dirty. i found HAIR on the white floor in the bathroom. And also the drainage was not in a good condition. It overflown after taking a shower. The wifi was not stable. Overall, it was not valued of price paid.

Clean and comfortable ”
My stay was good. Unfortunately the area is really noisey with construction etc. and the room doors make a loud noise when you open and close them. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.

Spacious room with good location”
Room is quite spacious and good location for travelling as it located near a major road also near convenient store Anyway, there are some concern about limited of parking lot and noise from other rooms; especially noise from walking or noise from door opening and closing

Quite dirty room but bed is comfy enough”
Someone in Agoda should start collecting ramp way info! It's so annoying having to walk half floor to take elevator and another half to the room floor.. and even worse when carrying luggages or got condition (I got flu on the checkin day). Btw, the room is comfy though it's dirty, scratches and sticky marks on table, used shower cap of previous guest still hang on restroom wall (I'm pretty sure it's still there, check if you got room 506), straw left in the fridge. Cleaner should pay a lot more attention to the room. Anyway, staffs were so helpful and polite.

Rooms are clean and comfortable with nice staff, but car park is limited and no breakfast include. A bit noisy from outside and when you open or close the door. There are many restaurants and 7/11 near the hotel which is easy to get your meals.

New place, clean and big room. Good for long stay. It's a bit out of the old city - 100 - 150 thb taxi/tuk-tuk to get into the center of things. I was taking a class nearby and this was perfect. Good wifi, comfortable, big, room to work, clean, microwave and fridge. Great place, great value

Clean room, but bad sound-proofing for rooms.”
Terrible! The hotel has very bad sound-proofing design for rooms. I was awakend many times in the middle of nights by neighbors opening n closing their doors. Moreover, the window-door is facing another condo's window-door, just about 10 meters away from mine, so my whole staying was all time with curtain closed. I won't recommend this hotel.

Really a poor choice in a city with many options! ”
The pillowcase was dusty, there wasn't a tea kettle in the room, the TV only had Thai language options, the staff were totally unhelpful, the air conditioner didn't work, and there was just no atmosphere to the place at all. Really, there are so many options in Chaing Mai - don't choose this one.
