Such a great property in Ubud!”
I was a little hesitant to book this resort as it looked very “resort like” and I generally like to stay in more boutique hotels. It is definitely “resort like” but it absolutely stunning. The staff is amazing (Wayam in the restaurant is just the sweetest!). The resort is clean and it’s adjacent to a rice paddy which is beautiful. It really felt like home away from home for the week. The location is just far enough outside of town center to have some tranquility but close enough that the center of Ubud is accessible. Plus, there are some nice restaurants walking distance from the property. 10/10 would recommend.

Overall a good experience. Location was good, there's a long drive from "main road" into the resort, with security, so feels much safer and private. Also quiet and more serene. Provided buggy service from the lobby to rooms. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was decent. Pleasantly surprised that they provided breakfast box (pastries, sandwiches, fruits, water) when we had to check out early at 3.30am to go for Mount Batur tour.

We initially booked the stay for 3 days but we loved the property so much we extended our stay for 2 more days cancelling another property we’d already booked. That’s how much we loved the property. The staff is one the best. So warm and welcoming. The view and the location takes it to another level. Absolutely loved it.

Breathtaking resort ”
Visesa Ubud had made my final days visiting in Bali fantastic!! Breathtaking views around the resort, friendly & helpful staffs and facilities (including spa) here are all superb. I feel welcomed with Nuri, Eka, Suan, Bagus, Luh Angga, & Kadek Dekmi as I came here solo. One thing that i loved is that upon check in they welcomed the guests with blessings ceremony which I make feel closer to Bali culture. There are so many nice spots to take photo. The hotel even provide daily activities such as resort tour, fishing feeding, cycling and more! their breakfast buffet are great. I would recommend this place for couples and family. The room is way spacious and ideal for honeymoon vacation; the hotel also provide romantic candle dinner on the field. I would visit this place again but next time not as solo 😆 ohh you can also read books or do work with amazing rice field view, with the “jungles” insects singing around. I had very peaceful sleep with the sounds of the natures around the room.

Had an amazing stay at Desa Visesa Unud Resort”
We stayed at Desa Visesa for 3 days. It was amazing. The resort is built in traditional Balinese style so you get to experience a bit of Bali in the resort itself. You can also get a bike to explore the resort. It is not very far for Ubud center and there are scheduled shuttle buses to drop off and pick you up from the Ubud center. There are really good vegetarian options for breakfast too. The room and service were great. I had some special requests because our flight was arriving late at night. It was initally a little difficult to get in contact with the resort, but once I was able to reach them, they really helped to manage everything as per our requests. If you want to get a traditional Balinese experience on your trip, I would highly recommend this place.

Recommend to all visiting Bali! Fantastic staff, food, and drinks! We stayed in the 2 room villa with private pool. Our boys loved having a place to swim all to themselves. Try the Dedari if you get a chance.

We really enjoyed staying for 12 nights at Visesa. The staff and service was exemplary, the location and grounds are beautiful, with easy free regular shuttle access to the centre of Ubud if you need it. We highly recommend Visesa, and look forward to returning at some point.

Simply Amazing”
I had a good group of 20+ guests staying here for my wedding at the Permaculture Area of the resort. Each of them were blown away by how nice the staff is, the cleanliness of the resort and how beautiful everything was. They have 3 dining options on-site [a little more pricey]. Great food! I only had their breakfast once because there wasn't much of a variety. This is a perfect place for those who want to stay at the resort the whole time. They can assist with calling a shuttle and taking you into the 'downtown' Ubud area as well. Definitely want to come back!

Will recommend this place to everyone. Well maintained, clean, good breakfast, good service. Loved the ambiance. The surprise was the aloo parantha and uppuma at breakfast. We stayed only one night but wished we had stayed longer.

Relaxing and peaceful”
This is the second time we have stayed at Visesa - it is just outside Ubud and the perfect location of being close to town and out in the country. The pool villas are fabulous. The food is great in the restaurants - it has improved since last time we were there.

It was a great stay in Visesa but needs improvement for some of the staff in FB starting from missing orders, the breakfast not variative same menus in 3 days, and when we join the Bbq NYE the staff only gave more assistance & service to foreigners, not to locals so we assisted by ourselves, But overall it was a good stay here because the location and Front Office staff were very helpful.

The best resort I’ve been to”
I hosted my wedding celebration here and had many guests staying here. Each of them praised the incredibly great energy this blessed place holds and their beautiful rooms. The staff was so patient and took great care of us and the resort. Hands down will come back time and time again! Only thing I was so so about was their breakfast buffet was average but they have two more restaurants on site with delicious food

The place looks clean and well-maintained. Private pool room was affordable and spacious. Breakfast buffet was cheap and had a vast selection of food. Only negative comment is the pool was not heated and was too cold to swim in it.

A relaxed and tranquil experience”
This hotel occupies a large hectares of farm lands and it is surrounded by greens and rice field. The service is awesome and the design of the hotel is a state of art. It is so unique and tranquil compared to most resort in bali. It is bit far away from ubud, however, there is a shuttle bus service three times aday. If you drive a scooter or a car, it is not a problem whatsoever.
