Perfect budget hotel to visit Legoland”
I stayed in Warm Blanket Hostel because of its location, only 5-10 minutes away from Legoland (RM16 for one way drop/pick up arranged at the front desk). Lots of restaurants (also halal ones) and convenience store then no worries about food/drink. Very close to bus stop from/to Singapore, travel between two countries was so easy and cheap. I'll stay at Warm Blanket again next time going to Johor Bahru. PS. Thanks so much for Mr. KK who was so kind to assist my family during our stay. Super nice guy!

Warm Blanket = Warm Stay”
We arrived at Warm Blanket around 6am to find that no one was there to let us in - if you arrive early PLEASE arrange beforehand for someone to let you in. So we waited for 2.5 hours before someone was able to let us in. But after that it was a fantastic stay. Rooms are big, clean with air conditioning. Share bathrooms are also very clean with very nice hot water. Staff are good, except can be a little cold. But they know the area and once you ask they are able to help you get to where you want to go. The hostel is a little far from the shopping mall and the main part of Johor Bahru, but the bus line is cheap and frequent and taxis are always available for a reasonable price. Overall if you want somewhere nice and cosy and something a bit different....I recommend Warm Blanket! Also if you get a chance, check out Mystery Room - great way to spend an afternoon and won't break the bank like Lego Land will!

Excellent service and what we required”
This was exactly what we needed as we went to Johor Bahru to visit Legoland so only required a bed for the nights. The male receptionist was very helpful in booking taxis, giving advice about the area and driving us places. The bathrooms were communal so we didn't expect things to be perfect, but the bathrooms were clean enough and slightly ageing. The room was very tidy and clean with good air conditioning, overall very comfortable.

Economical.Good for short stays.”
The hotel is recommended if you are a backpacker or looking for a very basic room to stay in. I stayed in the double-decker room with my girlfriend. The bed was comfortable and the air-conditioning was cold enough. However the room could get quite claustrophobic for certain people as it is quite small.there is only enough room for one person to stand next to the beds and not much storage space. The lighting in the room is also quite dim. It is near Legoland and a shopping center, but not near Johor Bahru. My friend in Johor Bahru had to travel far to drive us around. The shared bathroom is clean although there were many small bugs and it could get smelly sometimes. Do note that shoes are left at the counter, so don't bring used shoes.It's located on the second floor,so you need to climb up a flight of stairs.Difficult if you have heavy luggage. Basic comfortable stay, but not recommended for stays more than three nights, unless you are used to sleeping in tight spaces.

Fantastic hostel with super friendly staffs!”
I stayed for two nights with three other people. We ordered a quad room with double-decker queen-sized beds. The room is clean, spacious, and nicely arranged with artistic lightning. The shared bathrooms are clean and have hot water. The staffs are very very friendly and helpful, they even offered us a power strip to charge our electronic devices. They also have a shuttle service to drive you around for a good price and borrowed us a cell phone for communication. The hostel is safe as they use daily password to lock the main door. We all enjoyed our stay. Thank you Warm Blanket Hostel!

good value, helpful staff”
JB is not really an easy city to explore, transportation is a big issue here, but the staff could provide us a ride with very reasonable price. In the neighborhood there are couple of restos selling local food, also with reasonable price. If u want to continue ur journey to singapore, u just have to walk 5min to a shelter where u can wait buses to sgp. The room, even its quite small, but very comfy and clean. Maybe the thin wall will b a problem for some people, but not for us, we sleep like a baby under warm blanket :D

Warm Welcome and Stay Only in Warm Blanket”
We loved everything in this quaint hostel. From the design of the quad room, the hospitality of the staff, the cheap but delicious Malay food served downstairs and it's very close to Legoland. It's only 30 minutes to Singapore. The bus stop for CW3 (to Jurong East) is just nearby and you can hop on to your bus to Singapore in an instant. We also did not have a hard time going to Legoland because we arranged it with their staff. For only 18RM, you got a car that will bring you to Legoland. Amazing indeed! We will definitely be back at this hostel when we go and visit Legoland Water Park next time.

Great Staff Service”
one of the staff of the hotel was the best. He escorted us using his car from the hotel to legoland and back. He even lend us a cellphone for us to contact him if we're ready to leave Legland. He also took us to the nearest money changer again using the car without any extra charge. We highly recommend this hotel for their staff service the room was ok and has nice design although one of the shower in one of the shred bathroom have little pressure and therefore less water is coming out of the shower. The room was quiet small but the bed is comfortable. The frontdesk is not 24 hours open so we checked out without a staff in the frontdesk and we have a 5 MYR deposit that we paid for the extension. So we didnt get the deposit anymore. Anyhow, that 5 MYR is good for his very good service and I considered that as our tip for him. Will stay here again if we go back to Johoh

budget hotel with clean bathrooms & bed room ”
It is a qualified budget hotel in JB. If u have car,is easy go to nearby Jusco & Tesco & Nusa Bestari(where got many night entertainment),additional legoland,hello-kittyland(even im not interest but quite closed to this location). I like the bedroom design,felt warm. Just the night beside my room's guest check out too earlier(5am),come in come out made some noise for me.And i would like to suggest the owner change to blanket to white color,will make us feel more comfortable~

Great location for trip to Legoland”
We had a pleasant stay. KK was extremely helpful. The location was perfect for two days at Legoland. They will take you to and from Legoland for RM18 each way. You may be able to do it a bit cheaper by taxi but for the lack of stress to find a taxi its worth it. It is also very close by to the CW3 bus from Jorong East in Singapore. We went to Bukit Indah and then hopped in a cab (RM5) to the hostel. The room was comfortable, good aircon, rooms are small with no windows and shared bathroom - fine if you're just there to sleep. The shared bathroom was a little smelly but every thing was kept clean.

I've stayed at Warm Blanket many times over the last 3 years. it works. Clean, simple, and very very inexpensive. I don't need fancy when I stay in JB. Just a clean , safe, easy to get to room. That's Warm Blanket. The staff are always helpful and friendly. Warm Blanket is "my place" in JB!

This place isn't far from Legoland but you would need to use a car or Taxi to get around. This could be a good base for sightseeing around the Johor area as well. No food is provided here but there are plenty of eateries nearby.

Its really good and clean hostel, very nice service and girl receptionist very nice and helpful. she organized for me the transfer to airport for cheapest price and help me with my alarm broken. So nice people. and ease to access to 7/11 and food area. but a bit far from airport, takes about 45 mins. but from legoland takes about 20-30 mins drive, which i paid by taxi meter 20 myr.

Great Location - Close to Legoland ”
The hostel was quite a surprise for us. The pictures shown in the website is close to the actual. It is located about 5KM from Legoland (mostly through hi-way). 1 KM to Jusco and walking distance to a good seafood place. WIFI was from the check-in counter thus the signal will be slow if you are far away. One of the shower has very good water pressure while the other three are very slow. Wake up early and it should not be a problem.

Great location for Legoland!”
It was great - exactly what we expected. Quad room was fine for 4 people, and exactly as pictured on the website. You have to take a cab there from bus terminal/airport/Legoland, but taxis and private drivers were always available. We felt very safe, it wasn't too loud, and the restaurants in the shoplots below were a lot of fun (dim sum, roti, kueytiaw; coffee shop; seafood place).

Great location and good conditions of stay”
Warm blanket Hostel is the good location hostel with around 5km distance to reach the Legoland Malaysia and 10 minutes journey to reach Legoland Malaysia by a car. The hostel provided the Wi-Fi service, but room fair is excluded the breakfast. On the other hand, there got sell for the Legoland entrance ticket so the guest can buy the ticket with long queue up and information about the Legoland is available at the reception counter. Design of the hostel is quite modern.

It was a great stay. My first time and I'm looking forward to another staying in there. Very convenient, easy-reach to legoland, hello kitty land, Ion shopping center, bus stand to Singapore. Friendly budget and the service we got was excellent. The food court is just within walking distance.
