Great quiet hideaway ”
Loved the grounds, the private beach was extremely peaceful, and the sunsets from the ocean view room were incredible. The bed was a little hard but that is the norm for Asia. I think the majority of the bad reviews came from people that are impossible to please and who expect The Ritz Carlton for Motel 6 prices!

We had rooms for 3 nights and they were not cleaned even once (nor changing towels). At the beginning we didn't get toilet paper and towels - we had to take care for ourselves. The huge benefit is small but beautiful and not so crowded beach. Also location could be better, because to go to some shop or restaurant you'd need to go around 15 mins by walk - up to the hill

Adventure Nature Hotel”
The hotel was great. Friendly hotel staff. They helped us to get cheaper taxi and assisted us when needed. Why Adventure Nature Hotel? It is located 25 mins from the pier (middle center). The environment is more on nature, it's like you are in the camp but under beautiful and proper hut instead of a tent. Suitable for those people who wants peace and silent enviroment as well as for those who loves nature and adventure.

I don’t know where to begin. There is a very nice garden and a beach, but all of the houses/bungalows are quite packed together and the walls feel like they have been made out of paper, because you could hear everything your neighbors are doing at any given time. The rooms are smaller and darker than they look on the pictures. The room which we were given, kind of felt like it was not finished, because in the bathroom the construction guys did not do that good of a job because you could literally see the surrounding area through the cracks inbetween. Because of that we had some local wildlife come in the room and it wasn’t that pleasant. The beds are quite uncomfortable to say the least, because when we slept in the bed, you could feel the springs of the mattress. All in all the sleep quality was okay, because it was quiet, but it wasn’t that comfortable. Plus the pictures are rather deceiving and it felt like the room was not complete.

Resort has a rustic feel, and faced a small pebbles Beach with clear water, good to relax in (but has lots of mosquitoes). There a small pool good to soak in. Staffs are generally friendly. Room is big and simply furnish but cleanliness is an issue. Toilet is huge but water pressure is very low. Bed is comfy though. The American breakfast is priced at 190 b per person, but pricing wasn't stated in menu. Resort arranged in house songthaew to travel 4 km to Mae Haad Beach for 150 baht per person (but it cost 200 baht per person to travel 13km by local songthaew from pier). Seem resort overpriced its meal, and transport cost.

Lived in a poolside room. + good hotel location, relatively low price. - old rooms, giant gaps in the floor and walls that are thinner than a banana leaf (every breath of the neighbors is heard, and if someone snores or makes love behind the wall, the whole building will be heard in full detail). Cherry on the cake is dirty laundry and towels > _ <

Ive been coming to thailand For 8 years and this is by far the best resort ive stayed in the staff where great the food was excellent Its a bit remote but the reception has 2 taxis so very easy to get to town and as For the barman miles this guy Was great he should be made mayor of the island , i will Defo be back and will recomend this hotel to any1 i know going to koh phangan

Relaxing time”
We had a good time at the Haad Gruad Beach Resort. The privat beach is not great, but the pool is nice. There are other beaches nicer for swimming. The food is good. The view from our room was fantastic. The room was clean. We had tv and air conditioner. You need to rent a scooter or else you have to pay a lot for taxis. It´s a 15 minutes walk to the next beach, where you have shops, restaurants and bars.

excellent stay. I love my seaview room. I can hear the sound of wave while eat,sleep,drink. The food was awesome and cheap too. The hotel is still under renovation. the road towards the hotel is quite dangerous for a motorcycle. it is steep and muddy. but inside the hotel itself is all good. You may need to rent a motorbike to go around. Far from thongsala and other attraction but we love to discover the island by motorbike. doesn't matter at all. Just a bit disappointed with the motorbike we rent earlier. The condition is not very good and we stuck at the town for half an hour and cannot start the engine. The next day they give us other motorbike and not in a good condition as well.. but we managed to go around the island and not bother the bike matters at all. We will be back for the stay and the beach. Thanks Haad gruad.

Wonderful, Quiet and Peaceful Hotel”
We had a wonderful stay at the Haad Gruad. The hotel staff was very friendly and attentive, the food at the restaurant was very good (you have to try the Pad Thai and the spring rolls), and the location is absolutely beautiful (sunsets). We were looking for peace and quiet and we found it. The beach is nice but has a lot of coral in the water, but there are other swim able beaches nearby so it really didn't affect us. Would recommend to others easily.

We stayed in the "poolside" and "seaview" rooms for a total of 7 nights. Poolview walls are extremely thin and can hear as little as coughing from neighbours, but a very convenient position obviously immediately at the pool and near the restaurant. Seaview room was a newer, standalone bungalow, but the sea view was only enough to justify the name. The staff were very friendly, helpful and unobtrusive, but bordered on lazy - toilet paper was to be replenished yourself from a table in the restaurant. The location between Haad Yao and Haad Salad is great, but a scooter is necessary to take advantage. The access road is unpaved which is something that could be improved on - we were lucky to avoid rain which would have been tough to negotiate coming and going. Would stay again but not long term.

Peaceful Hideaway”
This is a great place to get some quiet from the busier beaches on the island. Nice rooms, all with aircon, cleaned upon request. Good value for money. Private beach good for sunbathing and snorkelling cleaned every morning. Friendly staff, good food, really tasty burgers. Nice large pool. They have bikes to rent at competitive prices which you may need as its 10 minute walk to the next resort Beach and restaurant. New manager and most huts have been redone in the past year.

haad gruad resort is located close to the sea, 15 min walk to Rin beach. Restaurants,mini markt, shop and moterbike for rent can be found not very far from the Hotel. Nice location and surrounding. We enjoyed our night at Full moon party

Stunning location, nice new room, good sea view”
I booked the Pool Villa room for 1 night. This room has own balcony, very close sea view and pool side. My husband prefer the Pool Villa one I extened my stay and move to the other room which called Sea view bungalow A/C (I prefer this room),this room is very new as it is 2 months old. The room is modern, has its own balcony with sea view . I can see sea view on my bed. This resort has nice swimming pool on the beach. Private nice beach, very peaceful. It is been renovating, many bungalows just renovated also has new restaurant. Clean and new!!! I really enjoyed my time here, would like to recommend this resort.

We booked 12 nights here and it was an excellent stay!!! We lived in sea view bungalow. This room is very new and clean, modern and has its own balcony. Bed linen change time in two days. Private beach, infinity pool, restaurant nearby the sea. Great sunset view!!! Friendly staff, who always help in any case. They have bikes for rent and you can enjoy surrounded, amazing view. We would like to recommend this resort.
