Park like setting”
This was our second visit to Wiang Indra Resort in a month, so we must like it! The biggest plus is the location, which is quiet and tranquil. You do need to use their shuttle, or get a Grab or taxi to get to town though. The resort itself is fairly old, which means that there may be a few cracks and musty smells now and then, but the setting is like a park with big old trees and lots of birds. We wanted a quiet place to relax so this was perfect. The breakfast buffet and lunch buffet were both good, and we just used room service for dinner. There was lots of natural light as the entire outside wall was a glass sliding door to the balcony.

We were a family group of adults, children, elders and disable one. The hotel staff were polite, kind and helpful. There is a path for wheelchair but it takes a bit longer than normal path and more difficult to go through. The property is quite big and old but in good maintenance. Though, there were small bugs inside the rooms at G floor. We got one room with broken bathroom door.

Park like setting”
This is an older hotel, but it is in a beautiful park like setting next to the Kok River. I wanted some place quiet, so this was perfect. The breakfast buffet was better than the average hotel breakfast buffet. The pool was huge. I really liked the big balcony and large patio window looking out over the grounds and towards the river.

Room is big but a bit dated and doors need repaired Bath tub is old and shower is too close to wall Swimming pool is big and great Buffet Lunch at 199THB is good, for the price. Staff is very helpful and some speak chinese.

Good location near the city, yet quiet and beautiful river view. Friendly service. Old rooms and facilities but we didn’t mind. Had a pleasant stay.

The hotel is on the way down”
The hotel changed to give service to Chinese groups. It's not whatever is was in the past. The first morning I came for breakfast they had nog eggs at al, the second day only a basket with some cold fried eggs. The dishes are all Asian, The western food they had some years ago, you will not find there anymore, same as other western people, I was the only one. Due a sickness it was hard for me to walk stair, don't think there are elevators in this hotel. Very pity to see an empty breakfast/lunch dining room, in the past it was totally full. This was the last time for us there, there will be better hotels in Chiang Rai.

The staff wasn't welcoming. We had molt in the rooms. There was a 3rd bed added to our room, it was a stretcher. The outside of the resort and the swimming pool were beautiful. The room we stayed in was small and dirty. I wouldn't recommend this hotel
