Exceptional”
This hotel locates in a quiet place. Very good for take a rest if you feel tired. Outside of balcony, there is a tall tree with fresh flowers which made us feel very relaxing. Location is not in city center but there is a tourist sightseeing named Blue temple in walking distance. Breakfast is good enough by this price.

A simple hotel perfect for a short stay.”
Wilacha Hotel is a newly built hotel which is simple and clean. Extremely friendly and humble staff very helpful for any issue including calling for transport etc. We just wanted a place that was in a busier city area for a night and this place satisfied us completely for that purpose. We were scheduled to go up into the more isolated and faraway mountains for the next few days of our stay in Chiang Rai, so Wilacha provided us with a very comfortable stay for the short stay we needed. The surrounding area was quieter than we expected, although we found a 7/11 convenience shop and a Tesco Lotus shop close by which was more than enough for what we needed to buy. With a few local restaurants around, including one that has a great playground area for children, we thoroughly enjoyed the tasty local cuisine.

Great value for money”
This hotel is truly excellent value for money. The Hotel appears rather new, very clean, large rooms, modern appliances, large bed, modern and clean bathrooms. The only "negative" would be the absence of English TV Channels. This could be a negative for Western families with young children. There is only Thai programs available in the rooms. Cable TV is only available in the main lobby. Breakfast is sufficient - although all the poached eggs were half cooked. This is quite standard in most 3 star hotels in the region. It would be nice to have a balance between well done and half-cooked eggs to cater to all. The staff are extremely courteous and very welcoming - a very nice change compared to my experiences in other Hotels in the country. I would definitely stay there again during my next trip to Chiang Rai. It is also quite well located although having your own transportation is definitely a bonus. There is a Lotus Express (small supermarket) and 7-11 walking distance from the Hotel in case of emergency supplies. The taxi fare from the airport was THB150 in a Metered taxi (However - this was a flat rate agreed upon with the driver. he did not turn on the meter!)

Great Value ”
The Wilacha Hotel met our needs, which were, a clean place to stay as a family, at an affordable price and breakfast was included. The breakfast was very good (not just basic, as some other reviews have stated). The hotel staff were very attentive and helped us to find a taxi. The hotel is located between the airport and the downtown core. It is right across the street from an afternoon food market and there is a convince store right beside the hotel. We would come here again.

The stay was great! The room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was very nice with tub and shower. The location of the hotel as it is near the airport and the many attractions in Chiang Rai. Breakfast was simple but delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A very pleasurable experience.

Chiang rai family trip”
Our stay at wilacha was amazing! The staff there were probably the friendliest people we've meet. There was such a variety at breakfast , from fresh fruit to traditional curries. The layout and garden area was very tranquil and the rooms had plenty of privacy. It was close to lots of great food and a Tesco. Overall I'd highly recommend it, sad to leave after a full week

A pleasant surprise. The staff were amazingly helpful. There was an odd occurrence at 5am involving bells being struck and dogs howling in response - perhaps at a temple nearby? The breakfast buffet is better than many others at hotels in Chiang Rai.

Very clean, quiet, omfortable, with friendly, helpful staff”
From check in to check out, the staff met us with smiles and accommodated every need we had. Throughout our 7 day stay, the hotel was quiet. Our room and the community space was clean. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was a delicious assortment of Thai and western food with an indoor or outdoor option for seating. We've stayed in this hotel several times before and have always had the same pleasant experience.

Reasonably Good Hotel”
The breakfast in this hotel is excellent. I had never got tired of their breakfast despite staying there for 2 weeks. The free bicycle for borrowing is another excellent service provided by the hotel but the number of bicycles is limited in terms of availability. Location wise, it's slightly further from the town. It is a bit too far to walk on a hot day. You will need 30 minutes or more to walk to the Clock Tower. I think it's too far to walk to Central Plaza or Big C. Cycling will be a challenge as you need to cycle uphill at the new bridge. You'll need a motorcycle or a car to live here if you need to go to the town often. However, if you don't need to go to the town often, there is a market nearby. Near the market there is a noodle shop pack with people during lunch hour. They serve good soup noodles there. If you are a volunteer at Baan Ayui or planning to visit the foundation, this is a good place to stay as you can walk to Baan Ayui within 10 minutes. This is a quiet out of town hotel. It was generally clean although I found some cockroaches at night. It's not a big issue though. I smashed the cockroaches and told the cleaner to clean up the next day. There is no lift in this hotel. If you have heavy luggage, the male staff is always willing to help. The staff may not speak excellent English but it's good enough for me to communicate with them. You can always use sign language or drawings. The staff was worse at the nearby apartment for rent. So, I would not complain. I will definitely stay in this hotel again.

Brand new hotel with amazingly comfortable beds”
Built very recently, this place is very inviting and friendly. Nice room, high speed wifi, friendly staff, good tv reception. Piping hot shower and tea and coffer in rooms. Breakfast selection wasn't great but don't let it stop you from staying at this fantastic little hotel. Just one note, there is no lift so a few stairs to climb.

I like this hotel and I am absolutely sure to return this hotel in next trip.The hotel location is not near the city - walk 3 km around 20-30mns or more.Nice Staffs, Beautiful & Quiet Place, Look Modern Style with garden. Hotel is opposite a Local Market, 7-11 shop and transportation to city or bus terminal and also not far from the airport.

prepare to walk three flight of stairs if you leave on level three, as this hotel do not have lift. Hotel is just outside the city, but only cost 60 ton 70 bath on a taxi. Taxi is cheaper and more comfortable than Tuk Tuk. Hotel is clean and quite.
