Yak bungalows are in the very nice and calm neighborhood, but with all things that you need like bars and restaurants with beautiful surroundings of a jungle and so close to the very nice beach. Yak is a very friendly and helpful person, he can tell you anything you want to know about the island or trips around. Bungalows are very nice with your own private bathroom and comfy bed. Kitchen is shared - I misunderstood that when I was reading about bungalows, but there's everything you need and also you can buy some drinks in here. I recommend this place

absolute gem on the beach”

Yak was the coolest and his bungalows were awesome. My partner and I loved our week at Yak Bungalows—the beach nearby was our favorite on the island (quieter, chiller), the bungalow itself was cozy and clean, and Yak was always available when we needed him. There’s a shared kitchen you can use as well. no wifi at the bungalows which was AmAzInG. We highly recommend and will be returning whenever we’re on Koh Chang!! Thanks Yak <3 :-)

The staff is very friendly and the location is very relaxing and calm. Staff members are very helpful and happy people. Great place to relax. Only 1 min walk to the beach and great restaurants near by.
Water pressure in the shower. That’s all and quite common issue.

Very close to the beach, comfortable bungalows and very nice staff! You also have a kitchen available with basic stuff.
The Bungalow is nearby a road so you will heard sometimes moto passing (hopefully those people don't wake up early)

Very friendly staff and very helpful. Bed was good. Hammock was brilliant. Right next to the beach so easy access to all the restaurants. Addressing a couple concerns in the other comments. One comments mentions ants in the bed. I did have a few ants in the bed. I saw them before I hit the sack and the manager came and sprayed around the bungalow. I had no problems with ants when sleeping. Another commenter mentions that it's right next to a road and there is motorbike noise, this is true, but it's so quiet (like in a holiday park) that I barely noticed it. It didn't bother me at all.
The guitar near the reception was missing its high e string - literally that's it!

Difficult to say. Staff nice. Cheap. Is near beach but need to walk. Shop very close.
I know it's a cabin, an island with bugs and mosquitoes, but I only stayed 1 night because bed was crawling with ants. I was bitten all over. Cold water shower. Picture somewhat deceiving, but aren't most.

Loved this place”

Yak was great, we could help ourselves to whatever we wanted and we just wrote it down in a book to settle when we left. It's one of things we love about Thailand and especially Koh Chang, what trustworthy people they are. Trust builds trust. They noise from the jungle at night was also amazing. We were trying to guess what they were, and at times, it sounded like they were in the hut.
Nothing,we loved it all. Would definitely come back again.
