Best place to stay on Koh Sukhorn”
We stayed at tbis botel for 5 nights in February 2017. We were initially a little apprehensive due to some of the less than great reviews. Let me tell you that previous issues must have been resolved because we had a wonderful stay. We stayed in a bungalow which was clean and modern with it's own balcony and three different views of the sea. There is a lovely pool that is quite refreshing after a swim in the salty ocean. The food at the restaurant was consistently good. It is a wonderful experience to watch the sun set over the ocean as you. Enjoy a pre dinner drink. The staff at this hotel are extremely pleasant and do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. We had two staff members see us off at the pier with well wishes at 7 a.m. in the morning. Koh Sukhorn is a quiet and friendly island. Unfortunately the snorkeling off the beach is not great although snorkel tours are available at an additional cost. Peaceful place”
We booked 2 different rooms for NYE, which was across the whole resort far away.as family we wanted to be close to each other so we changed it on arrival to for 2 beach front cottages for the same price as better equiped cement house.but we been next to each other.this decision was good coz during a day was area near the swimming pool noisy and our part was really quiet so can enjoy empty beach and silence.this resort is good for total relaxation.beer,book and sun.perfect.if u get bored u can rent a canoe for free or for money can rent a bicycle which we used.island is very small so its easy to explore local villages and country side.the food in the hotel was tasty.servis by it self need to improve start from the english to way to serve.some orders i had to request few times to get it, or they changed the order or waited really long.the english speaking staff -only 2receptionists and the owner.all staff were friendly and try to help w all requests and questions.enjoyed the holidays the way we wanted.recommending this resort for tasty food and amazing location right on the beach and far away from noisy and crowded places.

The resort is located within a local villlage where people still live of fisheries and agriculture. The beach is calm with a golden sand where children can easily swim. The hotel restaurant serves Thai and a few international meals, all good. The staff, many from the owner family and from the village, is warmful and lovely. The standard rooms are pretty basic, though good value for money, but deluxe and higher are nice and spacious, many being on the beach.

odd ideas of customer 'service'”
I was here a couple of months ago, and the front 'deluxe' bungalow has a very nice view, and is very comfortable. Some friends wanted to come over and see Yataa, so we all booked rooms with Agoda. I asked specifically for the same front bungalow I had the first time, but when the receptionist took us to our bungalow, she planned to give us one way in the back, with almost no view and in a dark corner (but the same high price as the front one). We asked her if the front bungalow was available, as I had specifically asked for, and she said she had to go and check, and a few minutes later told us it was free, but not cleaned yet. We said we'd wait, and finally got the front one, but it was a bit strange they wanted to put us in the back when I had asked for this specifically when I prepaid for the room. The next day we all wanted to go to Lao Liang, and I had been told at my last trip that renting a boat from the resort would cost 3600 baht, which was much too expensive for 2 of us, so we found a cheaper alternative. This time, with 10 of us altogether, I asked about the boat again - and they said that actually it was 900 baht per person, so the boat would cost 9000 baht, to go to a nearby island and back - an utterly outrageous price - I called my friend again, and we got *two* small longtails for our group - at a total price of 4000 baht. A funny kind of service, that they wouldn't take a reasonable price for the longtail, but would only provide one at a hugely inflated 'tourist special' (I guess) price. And on the morning I was coming back, I asked the lady for a basic motorcycle taxi, which everyone does and is how people get around there, everyone takes one from the pier to the resort and back, and she pretended she didn't know what I was talking about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - do you want a pickup truck? A song-taew? A rukruk????? - pretending she had no idea what I was talking about with 'motorcycle taxi' - absolutely rude mocking of a guest. I'll not be back, beautifu

Pros: - very tranquile - not many people and most guests are also very pleasant by default - staff is very very sweet - food (when you finally get what you asked for) is very good - location is lovely, beach is beautiful even without white sand, sunsets are gorgeous - the lack of people makes it the perfect getaway - they organize all transport to and from the airport, very smooth Cons: - value for money is a bit off. Rooms are expensive and the quality not all that good. You can hear EVERYTHING from the neighboring rooms unless you get a bungalow which is way overpriced. But since it’s quite empty you can TRY to get a room away from others. - breakfast is only from 7-9 which makes sleeping in and relaxing a bit hard However all of this, I would definitely go again. It’s just really nice 👍

Great location on the beach and we loved the pool, very clean. The whole family, daughters 1 and 3 years old walked around with no shoes on all day. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast included was a choice between western style eggs, fruit and toast, thai fried rice or pad thai (delicious), or fruity pancakes. We ate across the island most meals to spread our spending out to the village and cheaper. Great place

The resort seems relatively new and the build quality is high, we like this establishment, from the restaurant to bungalows is all well maintained and, if we are to go back to this island, most likely, this resort will be the choice. There were some staffing issues there but probably will be fixed.

séjour bord de mer sur île peu fréquentée ”
Nous avons appréciés la gentillesse du personnel qui est attentif mais a des difficultés pour communiquer en anglais. accès à la plage pas vraiment aménagé. bon emplacement jardin très agréable ainsi que la piscine. les matelas des bains de soleil étaient inutilisables car restés à l extérieur et ont moisis. chaises longues cassées. loue des scotters pour 300 bath la journée. restauration correcte. vous avez de l'autre coté de la route à 50m du Yataa au restaurant très bonne cuisine moins chère plus savoureuse et parle anglais correctement. au village un petit café resto climatisé le seul du village tenu par une jeune femme est très agréable bon plats peu chers et chocolat et cappuccino glacéstrès bons pour 35 bath. parle aussi un peu l anglais. île très très calme et authentique

Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum, direkt neben den Märkten und ganz nahe zu den Fähren nach Ko Phiphi, Ao Nang, Railey und zum Speedboot nach Süden bis Ko Lipe. Achtung, die Lage ist ungeeignet für einen Strandurlaub, aber ideal für etwas Zeit in der angenehmen Krabi Town. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit beim Organisieren der Weiterreise. Schickes Restaurant und Café in der Lobby. Man geht durch das Restaurant auf sein Zimmer, das ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß, sehr hell, ruhig und haben einen Balkon mit Sitzgruppe. Restaurant - Tip: "Yataa Cuisine" gegenüber Kong Ka Pier - gerade neu eröffnet. Außergewöhnliches Ambiente, raffinierte Speisen zu extrem niedrigen Preisen.

Schöne Lage, absolute Ruhe”
Wer Ruhe sucht, findet diese auf Koh Surkon. Schöne Anlage, schöner Pool. Fahrräder und Kajaks sehr runtergekommen. Das Personal ist sehr bemüht und freundlich, allerdings sehr unprofessionel, sehr schlechte bis gar keine Englischkentnisse. Wir hatten einen Standartbungalow, ständig Mücken im/aus dem Bad kommend. Aber völlig ausreichend.
