All you need”
As family we had separate room. Breakfast was good for our choice. Drying room very useful if you want dry boots and avoid smell while they are drying. You step out and there you are on your way right at the mountains.

Travel to yha on that rocky road was dreadful and getting lost as when you get to the top it says private road so I had to turn round in a mini bus and head back until I got to the bottom again and spoke to three people who told me to head back up and continue on the road. The sleeping room where ok but the person above me was snoring so had no sleep for most of the night. You should have rooms for people who snore and rooms for people who just want a quite night sleep I was very disappointed with the whole thing to the point I left the hostel at 6 in the morning just to sleep in my bus for a hour or two.

Thanks for the review. Unfortunately the quality of the track is outside of our control as it is owned by the Lake District National Park Authority, I do sympathise with the snoring issue and would suggest in future booking a private room rather than a dorm so this doesn't affect you again.

In a Quiet and remlote place ”
Good base if one wants to mountain climb, socialise and some quietness. I is located far away from town centre, with no wifi and lines for phone calls. Nice place for quiet time and chill with family members. To get into place, the last 1 mile is on a 1 way rough laterite road, a chanlleges if one uses a small city car, otherwise not an issue. All in all good value for money.

I think it could do with more showers with more privacy and space, but it's very much what you might expect from a youth hostel.

Adventurer's hotel”
The Hostel is in the middle of nowhere. The last mile to the hostel is difficult to drive. There is no Wifi and tele signal available. Rooms are clean and staffs are friendly.
