This is really a very good hotel, especially i would suggest for those who travels with family members, young children. The hotel is located in city center, most of the malls are like 10-15 minutes away. Rooms are large enough for 4-5 members, super breakfast menu. I'll book this hotel again, i plan to travel to Yogyakarta again.

Hotel located right in middle of Yogyakarta city! Very near to Marliboro street with just 10 mins by car and also to Prabaran Temple . The service staffs from Swiss café where we had our daily buffet breakfast were excellent especially Della! The buffet breakfast were great with varieties local and western choices . The receptionist and the bell man took care of our request without hesitation .There are free shuttle by hotel to & from Marliboro street and also to airport Only the house keeping forgotten to refill our tea bags for the few days after make up our room. This hotel has an awesome and spectacular view at the roof top pool side with every second of lighting effect from the pool especially at night . We had SPA treatment and Javanese full body massage but didn't enjoyed much as what we had in Bali. Overall I am very satisfied with this hotel and would recommend this hotel for its beautiful room , clean, location and friendly service. Thumbs Up Swissbell Boutiques Hotel!

I have to change hotel at Yogyakarta because the previous one was a disaster, and finally we choose to stay here on our 3rd day at Yogyakarta. We were very happy we did change to Melia Purosani Hotel since this hotel offer us the most comforting space for us to stay! The room was spacious, clean, had everything we need and maintained well. We also tried for the spa service and it was so nice! The staffs are all very nice and accommodating. I recommend this hotel to families who'd like to enjoy wonderful time together at the hotel since this hotel offers so many varieties of families' accommodation. Thank you Melia Purosani Hotel!

We booked four rooms during our trip to Yogyakarta. The staffs are amazing, they do their best to meet our needs. We requested for connecting rooms and they fulfil our request. We love the pools and also the outdoor garden. The only improvement for them is to clean the room carpet as stains are visible. We had wedang ronde (ginger drink) at night and the peanut we had were stale and they have no kolang kaling / palm fruit / atap seed. We didnt have breakfast there so I can't comment on that. The hotel is located within walking distance from malioboro street, but far enough so we were not stuck in traffic. Nearby the hotel, there is a gudeg place that is nice and cheap. We love our stays there and will come back again when we go to Yogyakarta

I booked 3 rooms for 2 nights during my stay with family. They liked their room and breakfast. And since the hotel located in Malioboro street, city center of Yogyakarta. And accross the hotel we could find many traditional food, souvenir and clothes shop, so it easy us to buy something for us and our relative. Especially I had special room rate through Agoda, it made me say that it is very very recommended hotel for your vacation with family.

I visited Jogja for one night and needed a room with easy access to Jalan Malioboro. My goal was to find one that's cheap and clean. After extensive research of other properties in the area, I decided to go with this Hotel Neo Malioboro. It's located less than five minutes walk to Jalan Malioboro and in my opinion, in the better part of the strip. Checking in at 7pm, our request for a room with a large bed and on a higher floor was honored by the check in staff Ken. I must admit he was understaffed as he was working alone with 4 people in line. It took me around 15 minutes for what could've been a simple check-in. Arrived in our room and was surprised at how nice it was. The room has modern decor, with slippers and coffee maker provided. Even international standard plug was one of the power outlets. The internet was fast from the room and the shower water pressure was strong. Room safe was provided as well. We had a good night rest even though there were train noise and honk from the overnight bus across from the hotel. A call of prayer for the Muslim also can be heard nearby. Didn't really bother us because that's what traveling is about, is to experience another culture. But may be a problem if you're a light sleeper, or simply miserable and make big deals over little things in life. Free breakfast had extensive selections, "almost" similar to what you would find in a 4 star hotels. And the dining staff were friendly and courteous. The food was super yummy. Requested late check-out and had to beg and given a 1:30pm time. Otherwise, 1pm wouldn't be a problem. After checked out, I was given the option to leave my luggage so I can explore the city without them. Will not hesitate to return to this hotel. I hope they will keep up the courteous service and maintain the cleanliness of this hotel or otherwise they would just be "another hotel" in Jogjakarta. Highly recommended!

This is a new hotel. Lucky for us! The hotel upgraded our reservation from a deluxe room to an executive room for free without additional charge. At that time because the deluxe room on high floor is not available. The staff hotel are friendly and the room is clean and comfort to stay.. The location is quite near from Malioboro and Yogyakarta Palace ... It is about ten minutes walk. And if you need Bakpia Pathok for a gift from Yogyakarta, the location is also near too..

i love the variety of foods and drinks while we breakfast.. i love their friendly and responsive staff.. i love the atmosphere of hotel and the room.. but for the pool..i think it will be best if the water is warm especially for kids pool.. overall..i would like to pick neo plus awana hotel for my next stay if i visit yogyakarta again

Great location (3 min walk to the beginning of Malioboro st), cleanliness and breakfast-to-go (as most tours in Yogyakarta start very early). Can choose American bfast (omelette, sausage, bread, sliced fruits) or Traditional Indonesian bfast. There’s a vegetarian option too. Jus need to inform reception the day before. Receptionists all speak good English which made everything a breeze. Beds were super comfy, toiletries gd. All in all a very pleasant stay. Our only peeve, as the other guests point out is the soundproofing. We could hear pple talking or walking in e corridor, the flushing of toilet bowl next door and even the shower (we were in Rm 615). Good thing our kids were in the Connecting Rm to ours..otherwise we’d be writing abt noise from there too as the door/wall are so thin. But since we have not stayed in other hotels in Jorga before, we cannot be sure if other hotels don't have the same issue w soundproofing as well. Best is jus bring ear plugs 😉

The most pleasant stay that I had in long time. The location is great, and the staff was friendly and charming, just like the beautiful city of Yogyakarta. A truly heartfelt service Breakfast buffet was excellent, great coffee by Illy, with egg station and all. Food choices were rotated every morning. BUT, It has the worst shower design compared to what I have seen so far.

Me and my wife had a very pleasant stay at Ibis hotel. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. It had nice and comfortable room for couple like us. Even though the hotel is very near (walkable) to shopping area - Malioboro road - the hotel surrounding is a bit quiet once you enter the hotel lobby. And of course the hotel is very near to many historical places in Yogyakarta and we also don't have any issue with the transport. You can get it easily outside the hotel. Even though not many choices, the breakfast overall is very good. The only things that need to be improved is the internet connection in the room. It difficult to get connected. You have to go to lobby or garden area for better connection. We have travel many places, and I would say Ibis Styles Yogyakarta is one of the best we have stay and I would like to recommend to other people especially couple to choose this hotel if ever you visit this great Yogyakarta city. it is my 2nd stay at this hotel, friendly and polite staffs. Clean room, comfy bed and breakfast is ok. Hotel located at the heart of Yogyakarta Malioboro. Easy access to everywhere, shopping malls, restaurants and local culinary streets food. Opposite is the Yogyakarta train station, mind with the sound of the train. Will stay here again for my next visit to Yogyakarta.

Very pleasant stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Ask them to direct you to the restaurant across the street, serving excellent Indonesian dishes. Rooms are clean and spacious. Plenty of delicious food choices served at the breakfast buffet. Walking distance to night market, post office and a good massage spa (also recommended by hotel staff). If you are going to stay in Yogyakarta city, this is the best choice.

I was on official duty trip to attend a training agenda at the 101 Tugu Hotel Yogyakarta during October 8 - 10, 2018. I get my wife to join me on that special occasion, we both arrive on October 7 (Sunday) and enjoying staying in Yogyakarta. During Oct. 8 - 10 , every 8 AM - 4.30 PM was my time to attend the course (training) after that time, my wife and I went sightseeing around Yogyakarta and enjoy the moments, enjoy the food experience, very exciting .. .. The 101 Tugu Hotel Yogyakarta, located in a very strategic and within the landmark of Yogyakarta (Tugu Yogya, Tugu's Train Station, Malioboro Street, King's Palace /Kraton)

The quality of the staff service here are comparable to one would get in 5-star hotel; they are courteous, friendly and helpful. The hotel itself look new and the two-bedrooms that we stayed were super clean and comfortable. The hotel is 1km away from the busy shopping street famous in the city. This means that it is quiet.

A clean hotel, with friendly staff and excellent location for exploring Yogyakarta; it is within a walking distance to the famous Jalan Malioboro where you can see and enjoy the exciting life of Yogyakarta, especially in the evening, but it is also close to other tourist attractions in the city. Would definitely recommend the hotel.

Convenient location. If you like walking, it's very close to the city center. If not, it's easy to find and/or call for transportation (taxi, becak, ojeg). The hotel itself is nothing special, but just comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. The room is minimalist, but cosy. Breakfast is so-so, but you can always go outside and get other special Yogyakarta-style breakfast on the street.

We stay there during weekends. My children is very happy because this hotel has swimming pool and the location is nearby center of yogyakarta city and palace. We can spend our time for walking around malioboro, buying some gift, cloth and other street food. The staff is harmful and helpful, they always try to keep relationship with all guess. Next time if I go to yogyakarta I planned to stay at this hotel.

The location is very Excellent, near center Yogyakarta, a lot of street snack near location, a lot of souvenirs shops also in the area, the hotel is very comfy and homy, suitable for a families with young children, a solo traveler or a group traveler. I love this place, will come to visit it again.

This Hotel have the best location of all, its so near with downtown Yogyakarta and the famous "Malioboro Road", This Hotel have shuttle bus to travel almost anywhere in Yogyakarta. It's a very Clean Hotel and Comfotable to stay, The Staffs are very welcome and kind to us. Overall this is a great place to stay.

Staying for couple days, The location with this price value is the main reason why i choose MG hotel. A couple minutes from Yogyakarta main tourist destination, Malioboro. The room are ordinary regular hotel room. This is a new hotel, Air Conditioner is functionally great cold as it should be, showering using hot water is relaxing after full day traveling, thou there should be a mirror in the toilet. Breakfast should be more creative, not Fried rice every single morning. In conclusion.. love this hotel, the moment. Would stay again if i had the chance. :)

I arrived too early in this hotel on my first day in Yogyakarta. Unfortunately, they were fully booked and I may not be accommodated for check-in. I just asked the receptionist if I could stay in the lobby while waiting, and he said yes. It was 5am, and no restaurants were open yet. By 7, I told him that I'll have breakfast first. If you'd ask me, the wait is worth it. Facilities are nice, my room is also nice, with cable TV, hot shower, etc. I definitely will recommend this hotel.

Had a room at the 5th floor, with a terrace overlooking the skyline near the lift lobby. very quiet, not noisy at all. Excellent customer service. Room was bare minimum with attached toilet and shower, enough for me and my wife. No wardrobe,fridge, safe box in the room. Bottled mineral water is provided in the room. Surrounding the hotel are some of the best local food you can find. Right at the heart and beginning of Malioboro street. The hotel is adjacent to Malioboro Mall, where you can find the usual fast foods (didn't try it though, prefer to try local food). Wifi is very weak in the room, except for the lobby area. Breakfast was limited to a main meal and some side meals. (Indonesian cuisine only). We had our driver/guide. very knowledgeable, on time service, even at the crack of dawn, and he knows Yogyakarta very well. You can even have customize tour at affordable rates. Foods to try and recommended: 1) Nasi Gudeg 2) Nasi Rames 3) Terang Bulan (Apam Balik) 4) Sate Ayam (the ones sold by the Javanese Women at the square at the end of Malioboro street, towards Kraton) 5) Ayam Goreng Suharti Resto 6) Grilled Gurame at Kali Opak Resto, near Prambanan Temple

this hotel is very cheap, but still give you the best affordable accommodation in the center of yogyakarta city. located just few meters north of historical landmark TUGU Jogja

Definitely would like to stay there again if I go to yogyakarta again. I can see merapi from the roof top, I can go everywhere from there, via trans jogja or via motorcycle or even by walk to tugu train station, to malioboro or to every special place in yogyakarta. And the most important thing is this hotel has a very nice and polite staffs to all the guests no matter it's locals or not it is very yogyakarta... Polite and humble. Bravo dafam !!!!

The room is spacious Staffs are friendly and attentive The hotel is quiet. It took me 10 minutes to walk to Malioboro (the main street of Yogyakarta) The bathroom is clean but the hairdryer was hooked at location difficult to use (above water tank of closet). The tissue roll is hooked on the wall too far to reach while sitting. Breakfast is not as good as you would expect for the rate. Some Yogyakarta budget hotel offer better breakfast

This hotel has a great location, since it's located in center of yogyakarta city, in malioboro area which is the most well known area for tourist. The rooms are also nice, with carpet, mini bar, and clean. Maybe the negative things, that there's no swimming pool, and also the breakfast are simplified. But for that price range ratio, I can guarantee that this is one of the best price performance ratio in Yogyakarta.
