Peaceful time with family ”
Beautiful place, very creative, polite staff. My wife liked a lot and I loved taking photo of each antique piece they have kept for customers. Just they can improve cleanliness of room as there are lot of flies and ants. Had good time.

Very good”
Huge ground area by the river, but little bit remote. Not without a car. The restaurant closed 9pm, no chance to eat dinner " late"...and nothing right there for other option.

Cool place, great location, unfortunate expereince checking out”
I was thrilled by this place - it was in a good location between Kanchanaburi and Erawan National Park and is very close to the Death Railway. It's cute and comfortable, the restaurant is affordable, and the decorations are hilarious and entertaining. Unfortunately, when we were checking out the staff over-billed us for breakfast that was supposed to be included in our room reservation and they had already given us breakfast vouchers when we checked in. Despite showing them the reservation and the confirmed amount that we owed, they insisted that we pay more. After trying to explain over and over, we ended up paying in exact change for what we owed and left. Other than that encounter, I really enjoyed this place.

Good for a quite stay as couple (raft) and also as family”
Nice an creative bungalows, nice also the raft bungalows, a nice pool and a playground help also to have fun with your family there. The breakfast was a bit poor, but the resort itself is nice and at a nice location. Just make sure that you have your private transport vehicle (car, bike) because the resort is far from everything

Not up to expectation!”
Room could be found with many types of insects like ants, cockroaches, flys etc... not acceptable for resort hotel standard even though in a nature environment. Rooms should be better maintained and keep clean. Even the building is build on a interesting theme. However the room quality and especially hard bed caused back pain. The mattress should not be used for such purposes.

If you don't scared of..”
Many spiders, big gecko, fly, insect, red ants in the room, maybe you can try to stay at this cave house... Room needed to be maintenance and clean up for the spider web at every corner in the room.

Will NEVER book this hotel again.”
1 - Booking says premium Internet. But no internet at all. 2 - No Hot water. 3 - Asked for double bed, given 02 single beds instead. 4 - Very very bad attitude from the staff.

Nothing for digital nomads”
Second time at Yoko River Kwai Resort and probably not the last time. From the many resorts at Sai Yok it is till now the best offer concerning the quality and the very unique and original design. The buildings with the rooms are great. And it was very very quiet - fine for a good nights sleep. Probably because it was low season. Can't take conclusion how the place is, when (nearly) fully occupied. As a digital nomad with the need of being connected to the internet all the time, it is a little bit annoying, that outside the main building with reception and restaurant there is no WiFi connection to the Internet and I had to use the data option of my mobile for connecting my computer to the internet. This is something Yoko River Kwai Resort should improve very soon!

Wonderful views of the river”
We enjoyed our stay at Yoko River Kwai Resort. It is accessible to the tourist activities of the Hellfire Pass Museum & the National Parks & waterfalls. You need your own transport. The resort accommodates group tours, thus a dinner buffet is offered which was good. Breakfast is included in our tariff, again a good buffet with freshly cooked eggs. The rooms were spotless, hard beds, large shower room. Bonus of cups/saucers & hot water , but no tea or coffee provided. The morning view over the river from your private balcony is breath taking. The staff are pleasant but speak little English.

Serene hotel on the river kwai”
We went for a long weekend. The hotel is about 25 minutes past Kanchanaburi. We thought it may be too far, but it was perfect. Green jungle, caves, waterfalls and the river are all at your feet. Food is a little expensive but it is a resort location. Note that the address won't give you the right location using googlemaps. After Kanchanaburi, head toward Sai Yok

Quirky. Eccentric. Interesting and Excellent”
We booked this hotel at the last minute. We were really surprised at how large it was, the gardens and the fruit trees, and the range of room types not full shown on the Agoda site. The hotel was full of Thai retro memorabilia. If I had time I could have spent a couple of hours viewing it. We chose two adjacent river raft rooms, they were large, comfortable and clean with a nice wide verandah looking out over the river. There was a nice large dining and breakfast area, with sound stages. There was no live music playing but would be nice to visit the hotel when it was busy and hosted done musicians. The kids loved the large swimming pool and it reminded them of Jurassic Park! There was an extensive food men available. This hotel is ideal for anyone - especially families and groups of friends. Just a word of caution - do not book the raft rooms if you a physical impairment, or are just lazy - best to book the other room types. Also best to have your own transport to this hotel. The only thing they could have done better was to provide tea and coffee for the rooms ( there was a kettle, but no supplies). Also it would be s nice touch to provide some real coffee for the breakfast, not instant. I travelled here with a Thai family and they really enjoyed it.

Crowded with Karaoke singers and Whiskey drinkers”
Impossible to eat at the resort and to talk with my colleagues as either Karaoke or a over-loud Karaoke performance of drunken people was simply annoying. Sleeping in my room was not possible before 0'2h00 in the night, as the guests in the same building had a Wishkey party on their neighboring terrace with loud talk, laughter and yelling around the whole night. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and enjoy the silence of the nature, this Yoko River Kwai Resort is definitely not the place to stay.

Value for money”
If you are a tourist coming from another country , this hotel is about 80 km from Kanchanaburi. So to get there you need own transportation or you get train from Kanchanaburi to Kra Sae station and walk about 1 km . It is a nice quiet place, but apart of swimming pool and lovely small museum inside the resort is not much to do. Local area is full of attractions including Elephant camps, caves, monkey forest , Kwai river . Rooms are not special, but i think for that price it is decent deal, because you get breakfast, aircondition room , swimming pool.
