A great place to unwind and watch the world, it’s the best TV in the world! All the staff are so helpful, they will laugh at your bad Thai, get you cheap deals on anything you need, but the best thing is that they are all very trustworthy. I did not lock my door once, they look after the environment and the view from the bar and beach front properties is amazing. YuYu Beach is a secret beautiful hideaway, no loud cheesy music, just great Thai hospitality, and you can even join in with family barbecue if you want! Staff work very hard to make you feel part of the family, show respect and they do the same. I did not get paid or receive a discount to write this review, and I would have stayed all year if I could :)

Great little spot away from the hustle and bustle”
If you want a quieter space away from the party scene closer to the ferry, this is for you. Yuyu and team go out of their way to look after you, and the beach is delightful. Just a bit of noise from the motorcycle thoroughfare which runs through the middle of the premises. Food and drink are okay, but there are plenty of choices within walk (it's also pretty cheap to hire a scooter and go exploring).

A wonderful place. Superbly run and friendly. I will certainly go back and would recommend any friend to visit. I marked down slightly the location as I found it a bit remote. Either a long walk or expensive taxi to ATM 7-11 and alternate shops cafes and restaurants Thanks to YuYu Yusuf and Kevin as well as friendly staff

We checked in and did not leave the hotel area for 6 days. Because the beach is great in combination with great food. Book the lakeview rooms because these are bigger and have a really nice view.

Don't expect much”
(This review is based on my disappointing experience in December 1016. Maybe things have changed???) I got a little hut over-looking a smoldering garbage pit out back, not the nice on beach bungalow that you see in the website (I was told Agoda customers get this substandard huts). I called ahead and asked if there was snorkeling equipment for use. The woman I spoke with said "yes", but the owner told me the snorkelling equipment was only for use by customers who paid to go out on the boat. He told me to go to town and buy my own.There was no other beach equipment except a semi-inflated beach ball. If you want to stay here ask lots of questions before you book

Over-priced, over-rated tourist trap”
The location is great, but there are many better options for less money nearby. At $25 per night and up, one might expect a small refrigerator, tv, wi-fi that actually works, a safe (the place is crawling with thieves), bath toiletries, coffee or a water boiler.. but no, not here. The high prices exist to serve foreign investors and not the Thai family that actually runs the place. Attached bar and restaurant is also over-priced, and quality inferior to many other restaurants within walking distance. On top of all this, there is a culture of narcissism here, that is both presumptuous and rude (“because farangs don’t like spicy” and “we are sorry for electric because it’s not our fault”). There is nothing sincere or authentically Thai about Yuyu Greedy Resort. You will do much better at Sea Paradise, Yak Bungalows or Tree House Cottages nearby. Better yet, spend 2 nights at Ocean Blue Guesthouse, right on Bangbao Pier and a few more at Cliff Cottages or Nirvana, across the bay..

Bad internet connection, lots of mozzies, misleading food dish names.. For the same money, it’s better at other locations such as White Sands, lonely beach and ban bae.. Nicer and cleaner beach too..

Backpackstyle, simple but service oriented and most friendly ”
Stayed there for 10 nights with my husband and daughter of 2,5. The family apartments are spacy, incl. aircon, balcony and a big fridge to store stuff. Great food for reasonable price, massage on property and a great beach with lots of options having lunch or dinner. BOOK IT!

On the booking sites, it’s either a room or seaview room, I suggest you try for a lake view room, they are nice and have a balcony on the lake. It’s a cheap basic place but what a great beach, another 10-12 places on this beach, a few around the corner, and the pier with its shops and resturants is avery short cab ride away, great for a few days

Amazing staff and great value”
Even though there were some check-in delays due to the Songkran crowds, the friendly and proffessional staff did their best to accomodate us. The bungalow is big and the AC works, a highlight is also the comfortable bed. For sleeping 10 metres away from the beach, Yuyu is a great value deal!

Yuyu is a fabulous resort in a magical location, with everything you need. If you are looking for tranquility but with all the amenities, this is the place. Good cuisine, the most comfortable sun loungers on the island without a doubt and on foot of the beach, clean and spacious rooms, luxury beds and all kinds of details. Kevin, the manager, was attentive at all times to make us feel comfortable. We will definitely be back and we will recommend it! 😀 — Yuyu es un resort fabuloso en un emplazamiento maginifico, con todo lo que necesitas. si buscas tranquilidad pero con todas las comodidades, es el lugar. Buena cocina, las tumbonas más cómodas de la isla sin duda y a pie de playa, habitaciones limpias y amplias, luxury camas y todo tipo de detalles. Kevin, el gerente, estuvo atento en todo momento de que nos sintiéramos a gusto. Sin duda volveremos y lo recomendaremos! 😀

Les pieds dans l’eau des bungalows simples et fonctionnels, un super resto pas trop cher. Les massages sont à tomber par terre. Attention à la saison des pluies pas de visibilité dans l’eau mais baignade agréable sans rocher.
