A good budget option ”
I made a trip to Jakarta for Asian Games and stayed here for one night. A good budget option and everything was quite satisfactory. Room is basic but clean. Only thing not so convenient is no bathroom hook to hang clothes. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is convenient (abt 30 mins walk from Gelora Bung Karno).

Stayed here for a week visiting my son and family. The room was basic but comfortable and the staff friendly and accommodating. Would probably ask for a room on the eastern (railway) side as the western side is rather dark and does not get much natural light. I had no idea if it was 2pm or 2am. The location is good being close to frit markets, food and Palmerah railway station. If you're around for a few days, give travelling by train around Jakarta. Its cheap, clean and much faster than car/motorbike for longer trips. Finish your trip by Gojek or Grab if station is not too close to your destination.

The location is within the traffic jam area, but considering the price, this hotel is worth for staying. Clean and very helpful staff, the only thing they can improve is to maximize the wifi connection in the room. I got connection outside of the room but not when it was inside the room

Kecewa dengan Zen Rooms Palmerah”
Awalnya terlihat di Agoda seakan - akan tempatnya seperti standard hotel budget yg lokasinya bagus dan murah meriah, Ternyata setiba saya diarea palmerah, nyari hotelnya saja susah, Supir Gocar juga kesulitan, sampai akhirnya saya telpon ke Zen Rooms, di infokan Gedung bernama Lenna Residence adalah Zen Room, setelah dapat tempatnya ternyata gabung dengan Sekolah ISTB, jadi untuk masuk ke Lobby mesti lewat pinggirannya gedung dimana terlihat tikus berkeliaran, saya tiba malam hari jadi masuk hotel mesti melewati lift di parkiran bawah gedung, dimana menurut saya jelek sekali secara impresi awal, naik ke receptionist, yg melayani saya seorang ibu2 yg sudah memakai baju rumah, tidak terlihat profesional, saya seperti menginap di kos2an bukan sebuah hotel budget, kamar dapatnya di lantai 1, padahal saya sudah centang di agoda untuk mendapatkan kamar di tingkat tinggi agar tidak bising, tetapi ibu tersebut bilang klo Zen rooms hanya memakai lantai 1 saja dari gedung Lenna Residence, astaga ini seperti penipuan, di foto agoda seakan2 gedung hotel zen rooms cukup tinggi, ternyata hanya menyewa 1 lantai dari gedung yg bernama lain. Saya menginap 4 malam 5 hari, dihari keempat saya menyadari baju kaos hitam saya hilang, dimana saya ingat sekali saya ada 2 kaos hitam (bekas pakai) saya gantung di lemari, saya infokan ke ibu tsb, ibu itu hanya ok kan saya utk mencari tau lewat cctv. Dimalam hari keempat saya menyadari klo kartu hotel saya hilang, saya minta tolong untuk diberikan kartu pengganti, ibu nya bilang tidak ada kartu pengganti, jadi nanti dicoba pake kartu lain untuk mancing supaya bisa buka, dan ibu tsb mengatakan biasanya untuk biaya kartu yg hilang dikenakan Rp 200.000, dalam hati saya ini benar2 nga masuk akal, hanya kartu swipe card saja minta ganti sebesar itu, padahal dihotel2 lain kartu tsb jika hilang diberikan gratis, jika memang ganti pun tidak perlu sebesar itu, dan oke lah jika memang sebesar itu, saya rasa tidak adil jika saya tidak diberitahu da
