Location is great very near downtown Kyoto, bus stops and train station. A lot of nearby restaurants with different cuisines. Just a minor issue, wrong google map pin. On our way to the hotel for check in, Google Map led us in an alley of old traditional houses adjacent to the hotel. We had to go back to the main street 😅

Good location for major bus no. service available to most of the attractions in Kyoto. Convenient shop just opposite the hotel. Hotel room good size for small families, clean and modern. However 10 to 15 minutes walk from train station. Took taxi from Kyoto station around 1300 yen

We stayed for 2 nights in EN Hotel Kyoto and it was nothing short of feeling at home. The people running this establishment were amazingly kind and helpful. The location is great as it is near the business / shopping district but away from the buzzing crowed.

Nice hotel with good location, near the Hankyu station . Have a alot restaurant near the hotel. The staff is very kind and helpfull. In hotel have Vietnamese staff so easy to communicate. I will stay here if I came back to Kyoto.

Hotel room and toilet is very clean. Provides a free welcome drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). Breakfast option is very affordable at 550 yen. Walking distance to subway station. And, walking distance to Nishiki market. There's a few nearby restaurant for dinner.

En hotel completely exceeded our expectations! Upon entering our room, we were surprised at how spacious the room was. We had enough room for a group of 3 to put all our luggage and enjoy supper around a small table. The beds were comfortable and the toilet was also clean and spacious. Location-wise, it was within 3-5mins walking distance from the nearest metro and super near to a convenience store. The hotel is also within walking distance to popular places like Nishiki market, and is conveniently located at the centre of many other popular attractions! All in all, en hotel is really great for the price that was paid and we would definitely come back if we visit Kyoto again. :)

Stayed for 2 days. Breakfast set need improvement. No meat option. Luckily they have a welcome drink. Housekeeping only means change of towel and straightening bed linens. No cleaning of toilet.

Good deal, but not always the best deal”
I stayed at this location in 2017, before it became EN Hotel. I preferred it the way it was. First, the breakfast was a buffet, now it is a boxed set, with little variation— gets monotonous. Second, the rooms are cramped, and the beds for some reason has some strap across the mattress just where my hips were— sleeping on the side meant my hip started to ache after a while… Staff were great, rooms and area very clean— just the beds and breakfasts left me wanting.

Close to bus stop, many restaurants, and main road”
Location is superb. Although not exactly close with Shijo subway station (~10 minutes walk), the hotel is just 2 minutes away from bus stop at main street of Shijo. The bus can take you to most of tourist spot (Arashiyama, Kiyomizu-dera, and the Kyoto main station). Since it is located on the Shijo main street, walking around is very convenient (to Nishiki market, Shinkyogoku shopping district, Life and Fresco supermarket, and many 7-11/Lawson/Family mart nearby). The hotel itself is very clean. Room a bit packed for 4-people (family room), but other communal space is available (spacious toilet, lounge-which is accessible almost 24 hours, manned lobby). Overall a pleasant experience to stay here.

The room is just for 2 person, they don't allow to add more 1 person. Have to get more 1 room at the hotel. They will not listen to you and please check the payment because if you book 2 room its depend on the promotion you get such as they will collect it in agoda for 1 room and the 2nd room have to pay at hotel(i book it together) and more on that 1st room have BF but the 2nd room not include the BF. Really confuse!

Good location, ok room”
Staff were very nice and polite and spoke pretty good English. Room itself was small and air was dank, but it was clean. Huge step to get into bathroom (tripped a few times). Toilet lid kept falling on me and the seat would move while using it. Beds are basically mattresses on the floor. Location was really good, can walk to Nishiki Market and 3 min walk to bus station. Some hairs in the sink. Ok hotel, but I paid way too much for it because of cherry blossom season.
