Cheap but wouldn't stay here again”

We stayed 3 nights at Hotel Bali Indah. The hotel looked relatively presentable from the outside, and the reception area was simply furnished. Upon arrival, we were informed that the Standard rooms had no hot water, which we found ridiculous. The rooms were equipped with a bed (that was comfortable), a closet, a dressing table, 2 rattan chairs, a small coffee table, a locked cupboard with a spout (that contained, what we assume is water), a bathroom that had a shower, a squatting toilet, a tap in a small sink, and a pail (primarily for flushing the toilet). Bathing in cold water is no joke and we wouldn't do it again. The floors of the room and toilet were not clean at all and we had even contemplated mopping it ourselves. There were prayers from the in-house mosque every morning, which we did not find disruptive but made for a rather interesting experience... Though probably not for everyone. The hotel staff were helpful, but only spoke in Bahasa. Its location isn't exactly great as it was a fair distance (south) from the main town. Takes about an hour to get to Dago with the crazy Bandung traffic. But it did have a little restaurant across the road which served cheap but good grilled fish. There were also a few road stalls and quick marts down the road. The walls were also very thin and everything from every room could be heard. Including a family complaining in the room next door and the son screaming how cold the water was while showering. Actually this was the highlight of our stay. Also, every time someone opened up their own room door, it sounded like your door was being opened. Certain ceiling panels in our room were also stapled together.

Good location in South Bandung”

This hotel is a bit worn out (old hotel) but the comfort and cleanliness are sufficient. The breakfast taste good. Wifi is strong in ground floor room. No elevator so you have to take stairs, ask hotel staff to carry your luggage and give tips. Ask for hot water too (for drinking). I would recommend this hotel if you are transit in Bandung before going to other cities such as Garut or Tasikmalaya, because this hotel is located at south part of Bandung making easier access to other cities in southern part of West Java.

Nice Hotel with traditional style”

I picked Hotel Bali Indah for business trip where the location was not too far from Ciwidey. And i found Bali indah hotel from Agoda with good price. The Hotel was quite good for 2 stars, big room for standard and pretty good for the facilities in the room. The hotel staff service was friendly. Overall, we're quite satisfied with the hotel service. My suggestion, It will be more attractive if the hotel interior in the room is maintained well.

Hotel Kecil yang nyaman”

a cheap hotel but very nice service. One of the staff offer us an extra service of buying food outside the hotel area.. (nasi padang). This is very nice regarding how tired we are after long trip and also hungry at the same time. The hot water doesnt work properly and the bedroom sheet color look not clean an itchy. But for a one night transit during duty.. this hotel can reach a strategic location among Bandung city. And near to the Mall and cafe. Nice spot.

Friendly Guess House”

very friendly staff welcome you especially the receptionist and his friends, very helpful staff during my stay. the only thing i would like to recommend is to the hotel management is install the water heater since the water is very cold. the rest of the room is just nice with the price paid.

Affordable City Hotel”

with the facilities I had during stayed at Bali Indah, I may say quite valuable for money. old style hotel but still good in maintenance located not too far from trans studio over all this hotel quite recommended for travelers who looks for affordable accommodation

Not Recommend for Business Trip”

We have 2 days on the hotel, with Superior With Breakfast. The first day was a disaster. Room, AC & toilet were dirty, also with bed cover and the pillow. It seems that my room (behind the receptionist room) was never been stayed for a long time and the hotel doesn't check/clean up periodically. We are in happy fasting Ramadhan. Hotel serve with give the breakfast (makan sahur) for first day but forgot to give us on second day. Luckily, we have prepare for this Second day was better, because of our complaint, but I think Hotel should review their service to keep their visitor.

Practical budget hotel”

The room is somewhat old, bathroom needs refurbishing, . Thr room's safety lock was damaged and not repaired. Air conditioner was noisy.

Not for Eurpeans”

Now this hotel is for the die hard only! This is a typical, with all do respect, an Indonesian hotel. When it was build it probably looked good, but now its rundown with cracking bathroom tiles and loose toilet bowels. The staff is helpful but bad in English. The breakfast is Indonesian only! The foto`s are not realistic. The rooms are dirty and the walls ones white are grey with insect smudges all over.

Maybe coz it's an old building....the worst are the bathroom they not clean,the staff are nice n helpfull the breakfast nice i just not pleased with the bathroom n no hot water
