The Park Maximilian is a fine place to stay in Regensburg. Good central location, friendly and helpful staff, terrific breakfast food/room. Value for money is great. With large modern rooms in a historic and well maintained building, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. If you are planning a trip to Regensburg, with its long history and many museums, the Park Maxamilian comes highly recommended from me.

Beautiful clean hotel”
We arrived at Regensburg after being messed about by our car rental company. We were not in the best of moods when we arrived but that soon changed once we saw this beautiful hotel. The building itself is a sight in itself. The beautiful old ballrooms are amazing. The rooms themselves are spacious and the staff very friendly and helpful. Overall this hotel and Regensburg generally were one of the best experiences on our European holiday and we will definitely be returning one day.

Lovely hotel great location”
Stayed 3 nights and enjoyed everything about this hotel, very friendly staff great breakfast, fantastic dinning room and underground night bar. Free coffee machine and bottled water in the down stairs lobby and right in the heart of Regensburg you can't go wrong.

Nice Hotel in the heart of the city”
We annoyed the short stay at the hotel with friendly staff and nice room. Location is just perfect and everything is in walking distance. Just park your car in the hotel garage for EUR 12.00 (24hrs) and start your stroll through Regensburg. Breakfast was nothing special, but reasonably for the price we paid. Would definitely stay there again.

Good location, Palace like hotel”
We chose to stay in this hotel, because they have their own garage, so we did not have to find a parking after long drive from Munich airport. The hotel is located at the end of the main shopping street, very convenient for shoopping and dinner, The bedroom is huge for European city hotel, best of all is the dining hall which is like in the palace.

Hotel is very beautiful, very clean, the rooms are super functional and comfortable for a european hotel. The only minor things were absence of hair conditioner thought it s a 4 star hotel. Choice of hot entries during the breakfast could be larger, but you can close eyes on it once you are having a breakfast in a barocco style hall.

Temperature in the rooms when sunny”
Nice hotel with big and clean rooms. Location is great and breakfast is good. One problem is when it is sunny during day and 25 degrees the rooms are very hot and once windows are open you can't sleep, as to noisy outside.

Sadly...I would not stay there again”
I liked the idea of this property: nice location, grand building, opposite the station, by the Thurn and Taxis property, on the edge of the old town. Sadly, I will not return...and this is why: -I arrived late at 21:45 after a long journey ... to find out the heating was not switched on my room. I was told they switch off heating in empty rooms to save money LOL -I had to work an needed the internet...the wifi was so bad, I had to work in the corridor -I moved to the corridor, but the light bulbs were blown out It was a disaster. So...never mind Hotel Maximilian...next time, I'll stay somewhere with a better service.

A very clean and homely feeling hotel located right in the heart of the city. Most of the hotel staffs(if not all), are able to communicate in English, so English-speaking tourist should not face any difficulties. It is located in the heart of the city, so restaurants and transportation services is within walking distance.

Great location, good breakfast, nice rooms, but when outside 25 degrees rooms are very hot and no air condition. When you open the windows you will not able to sleep, as to loud from traffic outside.

indifferent staff at reception all the time, not a single one of them showed any helpful behaviours. breakfast staff very disorganised with lack of cutlery two days in a row. However, it is walking distance from the train station, has the most enormous rooms, breakfast room a real treat, hotel is central to main attractions

It was relaxation time for biz traveller with easy access to restaurants and shopping. It's close to cathedral st.peter only 5 min by foot. In foggy day eventing the scenic was great.

everything ok, but the breakfast was one of the worst ever. old bread, old cheese, nearly rotten sausages, old cake (about 1 week old), everything on the breakfast buffet. only fresh thing was the coffee in the morning, no air-conditions and quite hot in the summer in the room.
