New hotel. Worth the price. Clean. Good location”
I was staying in junior suite room which has mezzanine layout. Interesting. Everything is right in place, clean, lux materials from such hotel. King bed is upstairs with flat TV, you get sofa bed downstairs with flat TV too. Power plugs are everywhere, it's the combined with light switches but most of them can't work. Plus the light switches make it harder to plug in. Bathroom is rather small. The shower area is packed so it'll definitely make the toilet bowl wet. The other downside is that we can hear the noise from outside or next door room. Breakfast is good, lots of variety, local and simple international breakfast, plus they have those Makassar traditional kue for you to try. They have swimming pool and gym too. The gym is very small, they only have one treadmill and one bicycle. Was about to swim in the morning but they just put in the chlorine so I didn't swim. Location is good, though it's not next to Pantai Losari, the main tourist spot there, but it's still walking distance. There are some traditional food stalls around you can try like Pesona Jalangkote, and there are shops that sell local snacks and souvenirs. They have shuttle service to Fort Rotterdam and other tourist attractions within 5 Km for free, but I didn't manage to try. It is definitely worth the price to stay in this hotel while you're travelling in Makassar.

great hotel except for wifi and tv cable”
First time i entered the room it was a blast, the room is so clean the air conditioner is working. I also ordered some food that taste great! not forget to mention the great staff who did a great job and always help me with everything Unfortunately everytime it's raining, tv cable start showing no signal and wifi significantly drop (and it was raining season when i'm at Makassar)

The hotel is located in the heart of culinary heaven! Taste most of Makassar's unique food just meters away from the hotel. The Hotel Staff is very helpful when i have difficulties with the gym equipment. Good place to stay in Makassar.

I could not say lot of things about how was my night at the hotel. So, just try it yourself to stay at Favor Hotel and experience it. I could only say my night was pleasant. Love it!

Good but can be better”
The Hotel staff was good and the rooms are clean. The only problem I encountered was the rooms are not noise proof and you can hear people talking from the other room which is disturbing at times. The immigration officers at the time of arrival at the airport was also rude during arrival and don't show respect to Malaysian visitors. There was one officer keep asking me the room number at hotel that I am staying although I showed my Agoda print out booking. Common sense will tell that, you only get a room number when you check in but this officer was creating a scene and said I could be get a summon for this. Just be careful with this officers and be aware of your rights as a tourist.

The junior suite room has unique layout. The bed is at the second floor above the bath room. The room is always cleaned. Unfortunately the hot water sometimes was not running. Overall is very good.

The standard room is very small. The junior suite is more comfortable. Although the size of the bathroom is the same for both - small. The room is clean and the location is nice with restaurants and stores around. The staff is really helpful.
