Lack of coordination”
Laundry finished after 3 days, everyday we asked about it, and they said we can waited at room and laundry will be delivered. And it took 3 days to deleivered. Standard breakfast, not much variety, maybe because on covid situation. Pool cannot be used and dirty, they said it was dirty because chemical fluid for cleaning the pool. Room ok. Hotel ok.

There is not many option of good hotel in Makassar and this hotel is the only ‘descent’ option. The experience is great in general (except for the pool). The receptionist and other staff are amazing (except for the pool that treat customer not within good hospitality practice). Noted for Pak Marta (Golden Bird) that help me with ground transportation. He provides a great help and very descent. I will choose this hotel simply because They have Golden Bird with Pak Marta.

Surprised by lack of safety standards”
My husband and I are usually quite happy staying at other Four Points. We were surprised to discover that the stairs for this particular facility were locked and not accessible. This meant that if there were a fire, or other emergency, that all guests would need to wait their turn to get to safety. I reported this to the staff with a request to be moved from 7th floor to 3rd, where they had one level of stairs accessible. When inquiring to the staff as to the reason they would not comply with international safety code, they simply said it was for security reasons. On another observation, as this is COVID season, they offered a buffet breakfast without standard protective practice for common utensils used by all guests. We are normally very pleased with this hotel chain.

It's worth the "Sheraton" brand”
It's relatively a brand new hotel in Makassar.. Beautiful and spacious lobby completed with excellent services in the front desk - quick check in and check out process.. The room is nice and clean Facilities are great too.. Huge parking lot, restaurants and nice pool.. If there is minus point, it would be the TV channel - very limited sport TV channel.

Buffet breakfast served are variety and delicious ! All the staff are friendly, helpful and greeted us with warm smile ! They are well trained and speak good English. Thank you for the memorable stay ! I will definitely be back here when I m at Makassar next time ! Just that please don't ask for laundry at door bell every morning as we are still asleep unless we request for the laundry service other than that we are delighted with the stay . Thank you .

Great Hotel”
This is one of the best hotel in Makassar! Their suite room is really spacious, very clean, has balcony. Service is really great, they clean the room twice a day, give 8 mineral water for free a day, they even gave me electric mosquito repellent, because there’s a few bug, really great!
