The hostel is located near to city center. Convenient and accessible to all transportation. First floor of the building is a bar and pub. At night kinda noisy but the room I requested was fine. Minimal noise didn’t affect my sleeping quality. Staff can communicate in English well. They are very friendly and helpful.

Exceptional”
The hotel is in a good location, 7 mins walk from a major transfer, just that it’s somewhat steep to walk from the transfer station to the hotel, especially when carrying luggage. Super friendly staff, they checked my passport during check-in and wished me an early happy birthday! If you are lucky enough, you may get an early check-in too. Breakfast was excellent, not crowded, and has lots of choices. Highly recommend for every type of traveler.

Kind staff. The room is basic but clean. ”
If the main purpose of your trip is to party this is the place for you. It will be noisy until the 4 am. We didn't have house keeping during our stay. It is about 20-25 minutes walk from the center. But not far from currency exchange, supermarkets, coffee shops and a mall. The party in the hostel is OK lots of young people so it depends on the crowd you prefer. The hostel staff are kind. There is no remote for the TV nor for the AC you'll have to ask for these in the reception, you'll need to unlock the remote with a code before turning on the AC, can be quite a headache.

changed to Hotel after one nigth…”
The hallways of the hostel smelled extremely of cigarettes everywhere. The receptionist at check-in returned my passport only after request, he probably would have forgotten. In general, he was quite slow with everything, but friendly. The bed was hard like a board, some might like that. The bathroom was quite acceptable for a hostel. Overall, the room was almost just gray and reminded of a cell with the painted metal cabinet. Window was right on a main street with buses, streetcar, heavy traffic. Extremely noisy! But even worse was the discotheque on the ground floor. Until 6am I listened to sirens of ambulances and car horns permanently to the loud bass from the disco. I had to check out after one night and looked for another hotel. I am sorry.

Not exactly in hotel concept. hostel. It is never suitable for our family. Despite our double bed reservation, we were given a double bed. It was said that there were no suitable beds. There is no soap and detergent in the rooms. They're not related at all. You can't sleep from the sound of the disco. There is music until 6 in the morning

Overall great time. I've met people here that I will continue to be in touch with in the future. The price I got for my room was excellent, and the cleaning service does their job on a daily basis. Unfortunately, if you plan to stay a long time, this hostel needs to fix their washers and dryers before I give them 5 stars. Their washers/dryers are very poor quality, and take far more money than necessary to properly clean your cloths. That is my main complaint. Other than that, stay here and have an AMAZING experience in Budapest! Overall, yes, stay here.

Nice small double bed rooms for mainly young people. Really cheap offer with a good breakfast included. Also included is free entry to the ruin bar "Morrison's 2 club", which is located straight under the Full Moon Hostel. Cause of the club it can be pretty noisy at night, but there are 2 things you can do: Party at the club until it closes or drink as much as you can to get a sleepy night anyways ;)

Amazing stay”
I loved everything about this hostel. The location is ideal for those wanting to go to the spa party at the Lucas baths as it is a 20 min walk. It is also centrally located to the all of the attractions in Budapest. The hostel has a club in its basement which we never heard in our room and it was the best place to end up after a night of partying. The place was clean and the staff we very helpful.

The rooms are cheap and clean and the location is great for egtii g around Budapest. There is a club downstairs that you get free entry to which has like 3 rooms. However the music plays until 4 or 5 am which can be heard from the rooms. This is a great place for people who want to party and meet new people

Nice place to stay in Budapest. Public transportation is very close. Choose higher floors and street oriented rooms because in the property yard there is a night club with loud music.

As it says in the title, it's a great hostel to stay for couple or 3 days, it is located in the heart of Budapest and the tramway isn't far at all. I stayed here twice, and I recommend it

Travelled to Budapest from England on a stag weekend. The Hostel was great - we have two rooms of 4, which were clean and tidy. Nothing fancy, but exactly what we needed! Location was good - plenty of places to eat and drink nearby, and walking distance to most of the popular areas (ruin bars etc.). Would use again if I went with a group!

Fun Hostel”
Located near the metro with plenty of cafes, restaurants, pubs around the area. if you're willing to walk, most attractions are walkable within 20-30 minutes, with the furthest probably between 1-1.5hrs at max. Hostel comes with air-conditioning, and is operating almost like a Hotel. very clean and welcoming with a bright and inviting reception. And also a club/bar just below. Although we were staying on Level 2, it faces the street, more inside away from the club hence we practically didn't hear any of the loud music as many reviewed and slept peacefully through the night.

Got a private room with a private shower—super nice quality for a hostel. Staff were great and super friendly. Like the other reviews say the club downstairs can be a little noisy but if you’re looking to go out then that may be a bonus for you.

The internet connection was not the best. It would disconnect often. The handheld shower head was full of rust. I was scared to touch it, so I did not. The shower had a lot of mold. The room was really big. Great location and staff.

There are many advantages to stay at the Full Moon Hostel but I didn't know it was inside of a Disco club. So the music plays until 3h of morning and it's impossible to have silence to sleep.

Room looked perfect and clean! Staff was very kind and helpful. We had a dog with us and the fee was 10€ per day. Agoda returned money to us because we didn’t know about it. Location is really amazing! There is a bar downstairs and we got the tickets for free. If you are going to get tired walking and seeing the city music won’t bother you because you will fall a sleep very fast so don’t worry about that :)

Super location and intimity in double rooms”
The hostel is with superb location and in double rooms you get the intimity of hotels. The hostel is clean, the staff nice, if you get a room on upper floors, than you get a calm room from the disco downstairs. the only bad thing about the room was a bad smell in bathroom.
