I had 4 nights stay at Favehotel Gatot Subroto. Everything was new and clean, the staffs are friendly and have good English language proficiency. However, the bad side of this hotel that it is located away from the main road which cause it very difficult to pick up a Blue Bird Taxi during night time. Sometimes I had to wait for more than 30minutes for a cab. Other than the cab service, everything was great. Breakfast was not really good though.

I personally feel sad that we only got to stay for a night. Everything was amazing and my cousin and I really enjoyed our visit. Our Deluxe Suite offered an unobstructed view of the city and upon entering our room, I was amazed to realize that the staffs had prepared a sweet surprise for me. With unparalleled service, friendly staffs, and opulent rooms decorated in a classic, elegant style, Four Seasons Jakarta is undoubtedly one of the best accommodation in Jakarta. We really loved the pool. The staffs in the pool area were super friendly and I even had a nice small talk with them. The sun deck made a perfect spot to take some photos. The gym was great. We hit the Nautilus bar to enjoy some drinks. The Nutmeg Old-Fashioned is the one guests should try. I would thank all the staffs, especially Ms. Dika and Ms. Jani. We would definitely love to come back again.

To be fair this accomodation is not designed for professional run accomodation like any other hotel you might expected, this accomodation more suitable for long stay guests. Here in Indonesia you named it kost. Or studio apartment in any other country. However, the management could do better maintenance of their rooms here and their public areas. Some public/common areas are delapidated and could use fresh paint or refurbishing. The room that I rented, was sufficient for my stay (1 night) trip that I needed but the condition of the bathroom was fairly poor with bad plumbing problem (shower head doesn't work properly). Bathroom floor tiles could use some cleaning and the sink could use some freshen up too. Bedroom was acceptible but not superb, it is small room with a concrete wall divider to create an illusion that your bedroom is separated with the common area (tv & fridge). Yet, there is a ladder next to the fridge goes to the void area that leads to nothing on top. I supposed, they tried to make a loft style but the room that I occupied might not been suited with the extra bedding. Very basic, serves the purpose of my trip and that was it. I only stayed there because I had to head out for early morning meeting and don't think will make it if I have to go from where I live in Jakarta. Other facilities like elevator is running well, front door guy always there, near to convenient store (7-11).
