This is the best value for money hotel at Semarang. The Location in Central Semarang which is no traffic jams, and also nearby many traditional food like Pecel Gandekan, Pecel Yu Sador, Ayam Goreng Pak Bowo, etc. The room very clean, and enough for 2 persons.

Clean hotel”
First time in Semarang, stayed at another hotel and paid for 2 days. Upon arrival, found yellowish pillowcases, dirty bathroom, and decided to only stay for 1 day. Finally, we chose Gets Hotel and stayed for 1 night first because we were afraid of experiencing the same thing as the previous hotel. After 1 night of staying and being satisfied with the laundry service and breakfast, we decided to book for the next day.

Advantages + All facilities, services, and hotel rooms are very comfortable + There is basement parking so the car doesn't get hot/wet + There is a water heater, refrigerator, tea/coffee in the room + There is a nice mosque in the basement + The food menu is quite delicious although the price is a bit expensive Disadvantages - The shower water is not hot enough, that might be the only thing that needs improvement

Good and comfortable”
Upon check-in, a deposit of 100,000 IDR was required, even though I had already paid in full via Agoda. I received a welcome drink upon arrival. The room was comfortable and clean, with towels and a bathmat provided. The TV was clear, but there was no wardrobe in the room, only a shelf and clothes hangers. We received complimentary breakfast for 2 adults and 2 children under 5 years old. There is a swimming pool with a depth of 60cm for children and 160cm for adults. Towels for swimming are provided for free. The hotel is located near Simpang Lima and Kota Lama. The food options were varied and delicious, and there was no need to worry about running out of food if you wake up late, as you can eat by the pool. They also sell beautiful eco-printed batik fabric at affordable prices starting from 150,000 IDR, 200,000 IDR, and 250,000 IDR. The parking area in the basement is quite spacious.

Booked a double room with extra bed, but upon arrival at the hotel, we were informed that an extra bed cannot be added because there were four of us. However, they offered to upgrade us to an executive room for free, which had a sofa that could be used as a bed. The sofa was comfortable enough, and the room was spacious and great. The service was friendly, and the food was delicious and varied. There is a swimming pool for both children and adults, and the location is great as it is near Lunpia Mataram, Soto Bangkong, and Nasi Gudeg, which are always crowded at night. Highly recommended.

Have to considering the Bfast moment, yes we realize the pool is side to side with the bfast.. it's better to open for the pool after bfast because when holiday it's too hectic and most people don't get a seat because of the parent whose waiting their child to swin

Great Holiday with Gets Hotel”
In the beginning i was a little bit worried because gets hotel is not so close with simpang lima. But then, when i arrived i had a great experience. The parking lot is available in front and basement. The staffs are helpful.. check in running smoothly, and they help a lot to check whether they still have extra bed. The breakfast are great and my son whom still 3 years old enjoy it a lot (PS: my son is picky eater). The pool is great.. definitely will come back here when i visit semarang again. The room also big and clean.. 😊

A Four Star hotel. Clean. Breakfast with various menu. Pool and sport club available. Location near to Tawang Station and Kota Lama. This hotel is not recommended for food hunter. Overall, all excellent.

The location are perfect”
The staff is friendly. Near the hotel are lot of good food, even in front of the hotel have a nice "nasi pecel". There so many varient of food on breakfast. The taste is so good, especially for Soto. Will be back soon to this hotel if I planning to have vacation in Semarang with Kids.
